Mold & Abnormal Kneading noise Rotimatic - Solved

  • 2 yrs old. Our Rotimatic had been giving abnormal noise during kneading even when the kneading cup and mixer was removed so I opened it up and found that the bearing of the rotator was causing this noise and also found mold in the water pipes
Lubricating the bearing with white grease fixed the noise.
Cleaned the pipes to remove the mold.
    All good now!

Thank you so much for sharing this video, it helped us to try and open the machine which is having the same gear issue. Unfortunately we couldn't fix it as we didn't have the spare parts available. Two of the bearing of the rotator cup are corroded and in a bad shape hence not rotating or kneading the dough. I have contacted Rotimatic to see if they can provide spare parts.
As they've asked me to send the machine to Singapore and I live in the UAE. Repairing cost $580 + shipping $450 .. it's almost the price of a new machine! Hope I will find a solution for the same.
