This is so good. I’m an adult PK, so I’m very familiar with the world of Christian ministry. I’ve also experienced a form of church abuse, which was never dealt with. What you talk about here really hit home for me. I’ve thought a lot lately about how transactional all relationships seem to be within the church. I live with chronic health issues, which prevents me from being able to live a normal life, have a normal career/job, etc. I’m also single, and singles tend to experience a lot of discrimination in the church. So I don’t have the status of being married, having children, having a career, etc., and since I don’t have these “platforms,” if I can call them that, most people in Christian circles have come to ignore me and act like I don’t exist. Once in a while, if I seem important in some way, it’s amazing how people’s interest in me will suddenly change. It’s so unbiblical.

As Christians, it’s so good to be reminded that the gospel is simple. Let God be God in our lives instead of grasping onto another man or woman’s vision. Thanks for processing through these painful things. Keep going🫶🏼

Michael seems like a really legit dude. My experience was the same, got saved with a small red new testament (Giddens) and my life was changed. Praise the Lord. Great interview guys! (edit). - well said Jennifer he is 'running his race well'!

On the point of having felt that the last X years were wasted, I was thinking the only thing worse than wasting those years, is living the next X years stuck in regret over the loss. So totally agree and thankful for the point of making space to grieve and asking God to make it good somehow

Thé movement you were involved in stems/flows/continues directly from the William Brandan debacle. Same spirit. Glad you have the discernment to ré-embrace the Holy Spirit.
Thankyou for being publicly vulnerable and truly repentant.

I graduated from a IHOPU 3 years ago, and I got here to your channel from your other content as part of the Advocate Group, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that you were missionaries in Budapest. I have grandparents from Hungary, and know some things about the culture (definitely not an expert though), and I would like to ask if you talked about your time there on this podcast. Thanks!

Dwayne and Jennifer, Thank you for your podcast. When I saw Dwayne at the GPR in early 2023, I told him it was so good to see him and that I hoped you all would be around more. Knowing now what you were actually there for, I realize that must have been an awkward thing to hear.
We appreciate what you are doing to shepherd the Body of Christ and help people heal. My husband came to KCF in the late 80s. I came to IHOPKC in 2003. How can we get in touch with you to share our stories? Cherie (Blair) Nicholson ("Song of Solomon, A Devotional Journal" & "Altogether Lovely" by Cherie Blair with foreword by Mike Bickle)

Joy Dawson's catch cry was that we are ruined for the ordinary. MB learned off her in the 70s where he was starting out. I guess he got his mandate to be exceptional from her. Christ doesn't ruin us at all, He blesses us for the extraordinary. Religion and legalism from MB and JD robs believers from the Holy Spirit. Yes by all means live an ordinary life in the moment but let the Holy Spirit make ordinary things become spectacular. No one needs YWAM or IHOPKC to to live an exciting life.

O Salvador do mundo e o caminho a verdade e a vida. Esta e a nossa escolha dia apos dia. Quem busca de todo coração encontrará a forma de estar em santidade em todo tempo. Aleluia

I think in the last 15 years at least the churches love has grown cold. As a widow it seems that the love, the storge, has left the church. The whole "church" these days seems to be a deal church, as you said. I definitely am completely without relationships.

I appreciate the message, but honestly dont quite see it.
Other than ihop, 99% of American churches are not super intense. They are actually really watered down.
So I dont get what you guys are trying to address other than Ihop and a few groups
