7 months ago I had a major surgery I had blockage in both my arteries one leg was 100% blocked the other one was 95% blocked... now I can walk again I can walk a half mile and stand over 40 minutes that is something I haven't been able to do in 7 years.... I was there a couple weeks before the snow storm when it was sunny, it appears there are more people visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace from the snow. The snow made the palace enchanting and stunningly beautiful. How I wish it snowed when I was there 😢

Korea has a heating system called "Ondol" that has been coming down for a long time, so the interior was warm. I'm still using it in a modified form.
The snow covered trees are outstanding. I do not enjoy walking in slushy snow, this is a disadvantage in these temperatures. You just make me feel I could jump into the screen. Wonderful Nathan

I think it is wonderful seeing the people in clothes styled like the Joseon period in the temple grounds. There is the simple joy of wearing the clothes and having your hair done, seeing others dressed as you are and making history come alive with the shots that are taken. Wonderful snow covered images. Wow that’s certainly some snow you had creating a winter wonderland ❄️The skies look very grey and threatening more snow to come I think. The palace and its grounds take on a whole new atmosphere as you walk around. Everywhere looks so beautiful particularly the trees with their winter coats on! I love hearing the crunch of the newly fallen snow beneath your feet as you walk. This palace is extensive - I don’t think I realised how big a site it covers until now. Thank you Nathan as ever and keep safe and warm 😊❄️☃️🫰🏻

보통 이 정도의 눈이 올땐 영하날씨로 매우 추울때가 많았는데 이번엔 춥지도 않고 바람도 안불어서 좋았어요. 함박눈이 펑펑내리는데 회사옥상정원에서 카디건차림으로도 좋더군요. 더운나라에서 관광오신 여행객들은 좋은 추억이 되셨길 바라요~^^

너무너무너무 아름다운 풍경 잘 봤습니다. 눈 왕창 왔을때 실제로 가서 볼 생각을 못해서 너무 아쉽네요ㅠ 근데 한복도 아닌 정체불명의 저 옷들 대여해주는 곳 정말 다 규제했으면... 온통 외국인 천지인데 한복에 대한 잘못된 체험을 하고 가는거 근처 지나다니며 볼때마다 인상 찌푸려짐.
의복은 시대 따라 변하는 법.
@@--ee6dm 그렇죠. 시대에 띠라 변하죠 ㅎㅎ 근데 여기에 적용될건 아닌것 같습니다. 근본이 흔들리는 전통을 전통이라 할 수 있을까요. 특히 중국이 호시탐탐 한복을 한푸라 칭하며 자기네것이라 우기는 시대에서 우리 스스로가 한복도 아닌 형태를 한복이라 칭하며 끔찍한 혼종을 묵시하는 것이 바람직해 보이진 않습니다.

역사와 현대, 미래가 뒤섞여있고, 사계절이 뚜렷해서 여름엔 동남아 대도시 같은 분위기를 느낄수 있고, 겨울엔 삿포로 같은 설경을 느낄수 있는 메가시티는 전세계에서 서울이 유일하다고 봅니다 ㅎㅎ

북악산 과 인왕산 그밑에 그림같은 한옥 궁궐의 모습
적절하게 가꾼 소나무 와 상록수 정자하고 잘어울리는 수양버들나무들
그위에 뿌려진 하얀 보석같은 눈이 소복하게 쌓인 모습은 정말
아름답네요.
대한민국 정치도 이렇게 아름답게 들 하면 얼마나 좋을까요.
