I loved this Series, but I hated how right and wrong was sometimes subject to emotions, like something someone did was okay if it pulled on the heart strings of why they did it. Like when the kid throws a trash can into the cops car and then get arrested....the DOJ guy was all like, " know you want to be a good cop", encouraging the cop to let him go cause its the "right thing" to do, as if it was. I was like, yeah he's dealing with alot, but he broke the law. hello! Stuff like that.
What get's me about Mac Wilds character is that they want to portray him as a good guy, but he stone cold shot a kid out of shear racial profiling and fear! and then played the victim of unfair treatment, like he was innocent the rest of the time. To me he didn't even show remorse even after arrested, thats a narcissist & sociopath. Plus there were certain scenes where empathy was miss-placed on the wrong characters, like the kid that broke the cops windshield, and then the prosecutor wanting him released as an innocent...as if the cop did something wrong to arrest him for what he did. It just seemed that there were scenes that violated the definition of what was right and wrong, just because it was emotional.

DawnofA Understand This Police Officers Are not Train On How And When The black males That where kill by POLICEMEN will not go to jail This show is a waste of time
Tried to watch this show, but as a black woman I'm tired of seeing black women devalued. Sanaa Lathan's character is unloved and nothing more than a sex object. The Stephan James role as the educated black guy, is sadly all over a white woman. This totally distracted me from the main point of the series. I stop watching after the 2nd hour episode.
How pathetic of you to judge an entire series based off of the first two episodes...How about you finish the damn series and stop being so damn quick to judge, in case you haven't noticed THINGS CAN CHANGE.
