Fun fact : The phrase “blood is thicker than water” is actually not the quote and is supposed to be “ the blood of covenant is thicker than the water of the womb” which has the exact opposite meaning to what people have turned it into by shortening it for there convenience.
Right!?! Like the language is very flowery and mysterious and im like this feels fucking fake. And if it isnt. Why are they typing like some 18th century letter of flowery prose and shit?
@@aidenflame1576 I can say with ninety-nine percent certainty that it's fake and the OP wrote the whole thing for easy karma. Even if OP wanted to omit details for anonymity's sake, there would be a clear line from A to B without leaving so much room for interpretation. I couldn't even finish listening to the narration as I couldn't take the post seriously.
Yeah it is annoying and it is not the first time he reads that kind of stuff. Those stories all sound the same with elaborate vocabulary and over-the-top short story feel... gonna stick to Darkfluff and XO if it keeps going.
It always bothers me when I hear the phrase "blood is thicker than water" being used to manipulate people, usually by those meant to care for you, using it to essentially force loyalty to a clearly disloyal and often dysfunctional set of people if you could even call it a family. Even more so when the actual phrase is "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb" which ultimately yields the exact opposite foundation of thought. TLDR: It grinds my gears when; Phrase gets used to manipulate "forced family" When phrase is meant to lean towards embracing your "found family"
@@williamshelton4318 since when has "blood is thicker than water" ever been used outside of manipulating someone into choosing bloodkin over chosen family? I have seen that exactly 0 times out of many many many examples of the manipulation trick. And the only reason it would have a "longstanding meaning" is because the chopped up version is what gets passed around and relies on people hearing it to be undereducated.
Story one was single-handedly one of the most annoying stories that I have ever seen on this channel like I understand wanting to be vague but this is the plot of every movie ever like what secret could his mom be keeping that was so horrible so horrific that it would tear apart an entire town of people multiple families and their own this entire story could be summed up to my mom was power-hungry found a secret exported that secret and then I found out what that secret was in told everyone like I understand I'm just complaining but I really hate stories that are like this vague you spend the entire story talking about how horrible your mother is and how horrible what she did is and how she must be an evil person you never knew her your entire life just not to tell us like not even a little smidgen of what she actually did
The first story was single handedly the worst story I've heard on reddit. It sounded like a ai wrote a generic mystery novel but then took out all the good bits leaving you with a half unfinished story
I'm confused by the second story. He says that Janice is not his biological mother and his real mother died and she was Robert's wife. Wouldn't that make Robert his father?
Remarkable how often that phrase gets misquoted, or rather how the paraphrasing has led to the misunderstanding. "The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb". Meaning that those who share a responsibility( solders, priests, etc.) are closer than family members.
That phrase "blood is thicker than water" is not supposed to hype familial relationships, quite the opposite, the full quote is the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb, as to say bonds you choose to form will always be stronger than those automatically made via birth
I don't think blood is thinker than water. family are the people that love you, there for you, not hate you just because you were born a girl! or try to kill you but fail x2!
Man I dunno what to feel abt story 1. It could be true for all I care... But the way it was written is so annoying. too much unnecessary words and exaggeration but no actual point
That first story is pure cap. The ritious do gooder. What gave him the right and authority to say anything? Realisicly no body is dropping dim on their mom like that.
the 1st story is just a bad soap opera, no character or story development whatsoever. also if op truly love her baby sister, op would fight for her custody, isn't op 19yo? doesn't that considered as an adult? BS story, bad OP.
If it sounds like a novel it probably is a novel.
That is correct, dosent take away from the fact that it’s still fun :)
@@boywiththebread101 fun? literally over a halfway through story 1 at 7:27 the story has STILL not started

Can Story 1 be any more vague? It reads like an outline for a mystery novel and elaborates on nothing.

Story one sounds like a badly written fiction novel.
doesn't matter if its fake, i enjoyed listening to it.

That’s because it is fiction

Story 1 had to be chatGPT
It sounds exactly ai generated, its aimless and vague and goes on and on and hooks on to pointless crap
Me when my imaginary boyfriend cheats on me with my imaginary best friend
Had to skip story 1 entirely. Absolutely mind-numbing
First one reads as a fluffed essay. Like you just want to sound impressive/hit a word count instead of actually write what you mean.
First story. Just get on with it FFS.

So believable both stories.... Definitely believable
First story is missing one word: Perfidy.
I'm confused by the second story. He says that Janice is not his biological mother and his real mother died and she was Robert's wife. Wouldn't that make Robert his father?
Yep. I'm going with 4chan verdict for that story since it's pretty much a badly written novel. OP is fake and gay.
The first story is definitely ai generated, it goes on and constantly changes and doesnt make sense
That first story is wild

Ya' gotta love today's stories. Aloha from burnt Maui! 🤕😢
Got some dramatists in this one, damn.
God that first story was so long winded it pisses me off. It’s not even fucking entertaining.
Osnap, Stephen is covering r/Supernova Revenge and mistitled the video
I don't think blood is thinker than water. family are the people that love you, there for you, not hate you just because you were born a girl! or try to kill you but fail x2!
Really wish you wouldn't cover obviously fake stories...
Remember to downvote as well. The algo sees all, and the producer learns.
❤❤❤❤
I got a third of the way through story one and skipped ahead
Noice
Blood is definitely not thicker than water fuck that

it could be true. But so badly written
Story one dances around in a vague way terrible fiction writing
The 1st story is badly written. A lot of words for not much meaning or advancements.
