Your work is superb 👌. Very clean and I enjoy the the way you hand sand your pieces! I wonder if you've made a Kris knife before. The snake-like curves are good test of the smith's abilities! I myself have not attempted to make one yet, but I would very much enjoy watching the process were you to take on that project! Much love and light🙏
This is like my dream knife to have! I have a couple nordic-style knives with the same blade profile and birch handles - I really like the pin through the handle, the beautiful burl wood, and of course the _incredible_ Woots Steel! This is just the perfect knife!!! Love, love, love!!!! 👍😍🌠❤
A work of art as usual , great blade , beautiful wood handle and the devil is in the details a decorated pin in order to join the handle to the blade .
Hello brother Very enjoyable to see you making knives I am also building belt grinder Do you think sharpening knives with belt grinder is much more useful than round stones?
Simply great. I need one, but no way to get. Precious artwork. Tell the name of two materials used top surface of mold melting pot? What is it's price?
I wondered about the hand hammering myself. But technically, crucible steel is made by getting the crucible hot enough to melt the material within. It's not forge welded.
@@thenotsurechannel7630 whatever, u know what I mean, it’s all been melted together, it’s one piece now. If you’re gonna use a press then use a press, is he just giving it 10 whacks with a hammer so he can say it’s hand forged?
Thanks for watching the video. Send us your ideas for the next videos.
😊 i am from indonesia🇮🇩,,,

Wootz axe or tomahawk?

What else did you give in the melting pot other than the nickle?
Ever since I visited Finland, the Puukko is my favorite knife, and that one is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
As a finnish I must say that id love knife like that. Brilliant!
I was expecting you to pien the handle but that pin is just beautiful and results in a much cleaner look.
Absolutely great Puukko 😍

@@fz-makingknives3663 can you tell us the wood for the handle? is it maple burl, or an even lighter coloured wood maybe?
Another gorgeous knife! Once again the grain pattern of the steel is amazing! I really love how elegant your projects turn out! Thanks again!

A pukka is a working knife. I'd be scared of marking this beauty by actually using it!
Hello brother
Very enjoyable to see you making knives
I am also building belt grinder
Do you think sharpening knives with belt grinder is much more useful than round stones?
Really love these forging vids. What do you use for your hand-sanding? What's the paste(?)/gel(?) you used on the blade before sanding? Thanks
Showwww🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Finest assassin creed 😮
FZ,
Nice work. How about a knife out of some cast iron bronze?
That turned out really nice. I enjoy watching your process. Out of curiousity, what is the tool you use with the grinding paste on the blade?
Thank you. Cast iron lap
@@fz-makingknives3663 thanks! I thought it might be tungsten carbide or something.
cant dismantle if it ever needs sharpening without damaging the handle.
You don’t need to dismantle it
_What_ are you talking about?
Maybe you need to learn how to correctly sharpen a knife
Simply great. I need one, but no way to get. Precious artwork. Tell the name of two materials used top surface of mold melting pot? What is it's price?
@0:47 what are these things being added?
اش اش روعة روعة واخر جمال جود جود
Beautiful blade, as always, but the handle is the finisher!!
Làm bao cho con dao này đi 😊
Никель в булат? Оригинально... 🙄 Это едва ли не последнее, что я бы туда положил.
Но результат хорош. 😊
Are you not using the crucible multiple times on purpose or can't you get the steel out of the container no matter how?
Disposable crucibles
Do you make the disposable crucible or do you buy them?
😎 👍🏼
Is installing the knife handle in this way sufficient and practical?
Olá. Qual é o material branco que você usa para derreter junto?
I've always been curious about the strenght of the blades, can it cut steel ?
👍👍👍
👍👍👏
The wootz steel could be overlay like a damascus?
What are the last two materials you added before melting and why are they used?
Puedes fabricar una hoja de cepillo manual..????
Maestro, una pregunta ese material que le hecha a parte del nique, qué es
wootz is the stuff to forge.
Why do you start by hammering the billet by hand instead of going right to the hydraulic press? It should be all fully forge welded at that point, no?
I wondered about the hand hammering myself. But technically, crucible steel is made by getting the crucible hot enough to melt the material within. It's not forge welded.
@@thenotsurechannel7630 whatever, u know what I mean, it’s all been melted together, it’s one piece now. If you’re gonna use a press then use a press, is he just giving it 10 whacks with a hammer so he can say it’s hand forged?
Ooh… idea. Wootz ingot from assorted old keys
What combinations are mixed in?
👏👏👏👏👏🤜🤛
Thanks
Great job as usual 👌
What level of hardness on Rockwell do these wootz reach? Thank you 🙏
How can I collect your products? I am from Bangladesh. Please ans to me.
What did you put into the crucible after the Nickle? I want to try making it also great video!
Graphite for additional carbon and crushed glass to seal it from air.
