      Your work is superb 👌. Very clean and I enjoy the the way you hand sand your pieces! I wonder if you've made a Kris knife before. The snake-like curves are good test of the smith's abilities! I myself have not attempted to make one yet, but I would very much enjoy watching the process were you to take on that project!

    Ever since I visited Finland, the Puukko is my favorite knife, and that one is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

    This is like my dream knife to have! I have a couple nordic-style knives with the same blade profile and birch handles - I really like the pin through the handle, the beautiful burl wood, and of course the _incredible_ Woots Steel! This is just the perfect knife!!! Love, love, love!!!! 👍😍🌠❤

    Why do you start by hammering the billet by hand instead of going right to the hydraulic press? It should be all fully forge welded at that point, no?

      I wondered about the hand hammering myself. But technically, crucible steel is made by getting the crucible hot enough to melt the material within. It's not forge welded.

      Graphite for additional carbon and crushed glass to seal it from air.
