Thanks to my father I grew up in a family that was surrounded with music. There was not one day that the big stereo and large speakers were silent. All the rock, pop, and jazz greats filled our living room on a daily basis. Coming home from school you could hear the music already. Growing up with this large menu of music opened up my mind for so much more music styles. I never forget the day I discovered the music of the great Mr. Franky Knuckles. I had to go overseas to New York on a business trip. A few colleagues of our New York office invited me to a House session and there he was, the great Mr. Franky Knuckles. From the moment I experienced the music, mixes and style of music I was hooked for life. To this day I listen to his music, his beautiful songs and boiler room mixes. When I drive to work, when I exercise, when I'm on my bicycle or just relaxing at home with a nice glass of wine. The music of Franky Knuckles is there. And now, I have a family of my own. The same as I grew up, our house is filled with music every day. To see my daughter enjoying rock, pop, jazz and house music as much as I do assures me that the world is a better place with music.
