Penelope is a very brave young woman. I'm very proud of her. And Colin finally accepted all of her. Polin is my favorite Bridgerton couple. Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton were amazing. Loved your reaction.
Polin is my favorite Bridgerton couple as well...I actually only watched their scenes this season because the other couples are so freaking annoying or at least to me they are!

The masquerade ball Eloise and Benedict were talking about is where Benedict met Sophie in the books!
Now I need a little payback lol. I want a montage of Colin and Penelope getting it on at random times while Benedict is in angst mode over Sophie next season lol.

Pen and Colin pull at my heartstrings so much. I did not cry in season 1 or 2 (felt joy for sure but not enough to cry) but anytime Colin and Pen show how much they love each other, I get chills and immediately get teary, I'm just so happy for them 😭

Book references:
1). Cressida did blackmail Pen in the book, but they resolved it by Colin seeking Anthony & Simon for help at Daphne’s ball where they revealed Penelope is LW and by Colin declaring his love in front of the entire ton.
2). Penelope made a little over £8,000 pounds and she and Colin even joke that she’s basically his sugar momma.
3). Eloise & Benedict mentioned their mother’s Masquerade Ball so that means s4 is Benedict’s because he meets his love interest (Sophie) at this ball.
4). They genderbent Michael to Michaela, who is Francesca’s endgame because SPOILER ALERT------John dies at the beginning of her book. Francesca finds him and miscarries shortly after that.
5). Colin’s love confession is equally as beautiful in the book: “I love you with my past, and I love you for my future.” He bent forward and kissed her, once, softly, on the lips. “I love you for the children we’ll have and for the years we’ll have together. I love you for every one of my smiles, and even more, for every one of your smiles.” (To Penelope)
Added bonus: “Therefore,” Colin said, “with all of you here as my witnesses, I would like to say-Penelope-” He turned to her, taking her free hand in his, and said: “I love you. I adore you. I worship the ground you walk upon.” He turned back out to the crowd, lifted his glass, and said, “To my wife!” “To your wife!” they all boomed, caught up in the magic of the moment. Valery, your reactions were such a joy, you are so funny! S3 is my favourite, mostly because I think Penelope and Colin are such complex characters, friend to lovers is one of my favourite tropes. And I feel like Penelope and Colin have so much chemistry, they love so deeply. And my god how many beautiful iconic moments. From the cinderela moment on episode 1, the kiss by the moonlight, The carriage, the mirror, the dance at the church, the confrontation at the street, the pride and prejudice wedding dance, the love declaration. I feel like we were so blessed with the romance. I was thinking, out of 8 episodes, they kissed in 6 of them. There were so much love ( even amidst the angst). Also it felt so modern to see a woman fight for her identity and heal her generational trauma with her mother. Colin and Penelope have me on chokehold at this point.
They are just simply the romantic couple. Colin can be a bit of a do-do bird, but he's romantic and forgiving and kind and that's what she seems to value above All things. ❤

I believe Benedict's story will be Season 4, and Eloise will be Season 5. I used to say that Daphne and Simon were my favorite couple; however, I am discovering that each of the Bridgerton sibling's stories is unique, fascinating, and beautiful. The spin-off, Queen Charlotte, was a beautiful story as well. Therefore, I have decided to stop ranking each season and to take in and savor the series as a whole. ❤

Francesca stumbling when talking to Kilmartin’s cousin was a reference to Violet saying that when she met her husband she stumbled over saying her own name. So it was a hint that Francesca fancies Michaela

Your reaction to Cressida at the start is also my reaction even though I already expected that she will visit Penelope bc the blackmail also happened in the book HAHAHA.
I also love the developments with the Featherington family, now Penelope have both Bridgerton and Featherington at her side not just one family 🥺, in the books there's no redemption to the Featherington family and only the Bridgertons are there for her.
I also liked that Pen's the one who outted herself to the Ton as Lady Whistledown because in the book it's Colin who announced to the entire Ton about Lady Whistledown, it's sweet and romantic for me and I like it but I want the characters to own up their work and mistakes on their own because they're the ones who made that.

I may be biased because I've been a Polinator since day 1 (2020) of Bridgerton Series hahaha, but all of the seasons are good!!

I absolutely love Polin as well they are my most favorite couple out of this whole series....I couldn't even watch scenes of the other couples because they are so freaking annoying....I skipped through them all and just went straight to Polin but I mean I did watch other characters that were in scenes with either Penelope or Colin because those scenes were related to Polin but when it came to couples being alone without Polin in the scene I skipped past them!
@@BleedingHeartFlowerCrying side stories are the main problem since S2 sadly, but same!! hahaha on my first watch I watched other characters' story even though it annoyed me but at rewatch I skipped straight to Polin scenes hahaha so ify.
I want to focus on the good things we got so my experience this season won't go sour for me like what I experienced last season.

To be honest, one person being more in love than the other happens in monogamous relationships all of the time too... I'm in NO relationship, so what do I know really, it's just a weird vibe calling Tilly selfish. In my mind, she's been the most adult, emotionally intelligent person we've had on the show because she can communicate what she wants without animosity or drama. Human emotions and sexuality are complex, and how we feel changes all the time...why stick to something that isn't working for you anymore? People need to be more honest with themselves because this 'sticking with what you said' mentality leads to obligatory relationships full of resentment.

And the consequences are on her, which she accepts with considerable grace. She cannot control her feelings. Neither can you. She refused to lie. She refused to blame anyone. She accepted the cards life dealt her, without complaint but gratitude. How you get "selfish" out this frankly baffles me.

32:49 Okay I'm too much of a history geek not to point out there is NO POSSIBLE WAY Colin and Penelope's son could possibly inherent the Featherington title. It is impossible. It went to Jack Featherington once his brother died, and will be his as long as he breathes. When he dies it will go to the next closest male relative descended via a male. Inheritance of titles never went through the female line. They just did not. But then, Queen Charlotte was very white and the kind of hair care products we see in this show have barely been around twenty years TODAY!

I believe the show is saying Cousin Jack Featherington is head of the estate (he's still alive just ran off to America) & the forged paperwork says he is passing the estate to the 1st male heir amongst the daughters. The solicitor seems to indicate that there isn't actually another Featherington heir to pass it to/oppose this transfer of the estate, since he's mentioning the crown giving it to an entirely new family?

I love your song, "She'll be floating down the river, floating down the river, baby". If Cressida had made friends after finding out that Penelope was LW and explained her plight instead of blackmailing her they could have come up with a plan.
If I was Penelope and Cressida came to me and apologized for all the times she caused me pain I would have came up with a plan to get Cressida engaged before she could be sent away. As a married couple Colin and Penelope could throw a party inviting all of Colin's single male friends, then get Porsche to create a compromising situation like she did with Prudence and Jack. I suggest Lord Fife. He needs someone like Cressida to fall in love with, she would straighten out that rake immediately.

Season 2, Season 3 and Season 1 until now. The romantic and flirting scenes are missing in this season in contrast to season 2. We barely saw the lovers part here. I loved Fransesca and Johns approach. There was too much fight in Colin and Penelope story
