That is why "Saw" bit is usually followed by "Copyright strike concern" bit - but as Tomato mentioned, most tracks being claimed are songs played by commercial muscians rather than original compositions for movies - with obvious exceptions such as anything from Starwars. Twitch streamers acting like DMCA was never going to hit them are stupid. It’s one thing to say the DMCA is dumb and should be repealed... but people complaining about getting hit with it are just upset they’re not getting special treatment anymore; they knew they were gambling with copyrighted content.
there should be insanely harsh penalties for knowingly trying to file false copyright claims or allowing a piss-poor bot to do it unchecked, something to get the corpos to fuck off with their false reports (and afaik basically every claim on twitch is false, as its transformative unless its someone just running a pirate radio station through twitch)
