Well Michael Bay was the first director to get his hands on an F22 raptor so it could be used in Transformers 2007. Also "F-22 pilots never fly below buildings, thats alien, that ain't friendly."
I like the f22 raptors but in a naval version isn’t made yet and it’s is expensive I like it but I suggest making the. F-15 have a slightly stealth model so the cost is lower because our budget is getting larger but not large enough But keep the f22
Boeing did put forward the F-15SE Silent Eagle for consideration in 2010 but they couldn't get any buyers and it was canned since the already stealth F-35 is intended to replace it by the 2030's anyway. Israel had renewed interest in the Silent Eagle a few years back but nothing ever came of it. It's still possible that it will one day go into production, especially for countries that aren't interested in the F-35 as more and more stealth 5th gen fighters continue to pop up around the world.
Because theres no need to make many since it's the most advanced fighter jet even to this day despite the fact that it's already 30+ yrs old, Im damn sure U.S already making its replacement and will reveal when others already match the Raptors ...
Very interesting...So it was that Lockheed had done much more testing flights that was a delta or difference-maker. But which one was superior or better in the fly-offs based on the criteria: speed, stealth, maneuverability, etc...?
I hear this thing was re-engineered by Airbus, manufactured in Germany with composite material from France. The Kentucky goup (which is what composite is) didn't work out.
The F-22 will soon be a hybrid F-22/F-35 as the US integrates the new flight guidance system of the F-35 into the proven air-frame of the F-22. There will probably never be a plane that can beat this combination again since the next generation will probably not be a machine that can dog-fight at all but will be hyper-sonic to a degree that making any turn at speed would literally tear it to pieces. The next generation will depend on speed only. And that could eventually be its Achilles Heal.
Moving on to 7th Gen. OMUAV. Israel put the updated Raptor Pratt Whitney's in one of their F-16's. Walked all over the SU57 at the biggest middle east military air show "Lion of theDesert". Anybody remember when a f22 snuck up behind a Iranian f4 phantom and a Iranian f14 then rolled over and told the f4 phantom pilot you should just go home. Neither pilot f4 or f14 new the f22 was right behind and below them till he pulled up next to them.
Yeah... Pulled up underneath the phantom and check out their armaments. Then along side of the phantom and radioed them. You should really go home. The only time opposing pilots will see a f22 is when the f22 wants to be seen.
"Easy as Clubbing Baby Seals"... 😐 I love the F-22... can't believe it's still the bar that Russia's new T-50 is trying to match 20 years later. I wonder if the cost overruns would have happened if the YF-23 was chosen instead.
f22 production stopped at 169 don't expect to see the f15 go anyway any time soon, especially when its been upgraded to the f15 silent eagle! f22 is great, f15 silent eagle is good enough!
Let me tell you something... ALL the planes that the US has made are still VERY MUCH IN SERVICE don't let them tell you different..... There is now way America is going to fund and produce an aircraft project and NOT STILL HAVE THEM.... SOMEWHERE!!! F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22, F-23, F-35, even the older ones A-10, and the F-4...... Stay woke!
I'm pretty sure the idea was on blue print in the 80s and being made in the 90s. And still used today. Damn. I wonder what other secret programs are in use
The Russian SU-30 and SU-35 are becoming bigger threats to the F-22 Raptor. But Lockheed is very aware of this and I'm curious to see how the F-22 will evolve even more to face Russia's new fighters.
The Sukhoi Su-57 is the only Russian jet fighter in service comparable to the F-22. It first flew two decades after the F-22 and thus differs from the F-22 in having conventional engine nacelles (unlike the F-22's 2-D engine afterburners).
I have a question: Why was the F22 Raptor chosen for a mission dropping bombs on IS HQ and not the B2 Spirit? It was decided based on camouflage ability, wasn't it? The B2 Spirit is better suited for that than the F22 Raptor. Or am I wrong?
Bringing the F-22 in-theater brings more options. The B-2 has no air to air capability. Enemy jets were in the airspace, too. My guess. Both could do the job, no doubt.
Both the yf22 and yf23 are amazing and gorgeous crafts. The Raptor is just too good. Not sure we will ever have an enemy with a plane to threaten is in the air.
A wonderful bird, and totally badass. Too bad it took 15 years between a flying prototype and when it entered service. But I guess it was to let the F-15 run its course and give time to equip the F-22 with better avionics.
The frame is outdated for next gen fighting. She is great but all things equal the the f-15 can be seen, the F-22 can't. Offensively they are pretty equal, but the F-22 plays defense way better.
@@jasonjohnson9914 I agree that the frame is outdated compared to the raptor n the f-35 jsf all that needs to be done with the f-15 eagle is applying the same chemicals used to make the raptor etc invincible upgrade the computer system Inc HUD and the eagle would be unbeatable
This airplane is as futuristic a design as it's name implies, and what it can do. The F-22 Raptor, "the killing machine". The evolution of fighter jets, speaks for itself. But of course the F-22 compares greatly to other iconic jets. With the ability to challenge an enemy warfare just like the F-14 Tomcat, nothing can really stop the F-22 Raptor also, because of it's ability to scare the enemies that try to even come anywhere close to it's defences. The same can be said about the F-14 Tomcat, even though it is an older type airplane to what it actually demonstrated what it actually did when it was in service. I would put the F-15 Strike Eagle here too. The Raptor is another show stopper at air shows. The F-22 can fly undetected through aerial refueling also. The vertical take-off of this airplane can really make your eyes, and mouth open up!!!! Our country is so lucky to have these wonderful jet fighters. Nothing in this world can compare to the firepower of the good ol' UNITED STATES OF. AMERICA!!!!!🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 GOF BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!
4 years back in 2019 just before Corona, I saw a jet fighter in a thunder and rainy night with 4 engines on tail, all in perfect rectangular shape. time should be between 11 to 12 pm. Location : north east India. According to my guess the fighter jet was camouflaging its loud sound with the weather as, it was cloud burst season so no one would notice. Also it was fyling pretty low. luckily I saw it. I still didn't came by any jet fighter like that in RUclips or internet.
There is no advantage to that. It already is as protected as it needs and has the intelligent of a human that cannot be interrupted as it fires it's suicide drones. It already is an optimal platform
this one is so good that only problem is the man flying it. Now everything else beyond this will be drone. Why have a pilot? can't go so fast because you'll pass out, not so in a drone. Bigger!!! Better!!!
TheAceOfSpades I mean probably not you can't develope new radar you can change how the radar scan but those planes were designed to slip past radar altogether
Israeli f-35's have been intruding into Arab airspace nonstop and they are yet to be intercepted or fired upon. If the F-35 is undetected certainly the f-22 is as well.
they can be detected the issue is having a missile track them and then and shoot them down. Though at this point they can be shot down though it is not as easy as shooting down an f 15.
What makes the f22 interesting is that for 70 years we've only fought, (and lost!) with peasants, farmers, and pre-industrial people yet things like these get all the procurement $.
OK Comrade, that's 3 times you've posted the same thing. You can't engineer a better fighter jet so you try and drum up resistance against it. Peasants and farmers you say, but fully backed and trained by Russia.
Watching it in 2024, Lockheed's project manager was right. What performance do you want out of your jets in 2020, 2030. World was not gonna change is hell of an assertion.
There's stealth with regard to radar and then there's stealth in the visible spectrum (cloaking). I swear in 2018 I was at the rear gate of A51 in Rachel NV. with a pair of binoculars watching something that looked like an F22... simply disappear as it went out over Tonopah. Not disappear due to it getting smaller as it went away from me... I mean disappear ... one second it was there and then it was not.
Our F--22 Raptor program should be at full go ahead. We need this and the F-35. We can keep the F--15 and 18 as loitering defensive planes for sea and land layering our air superiority no matter the opponent(s). China, Russia, or any threat emerging out of the Middle East would be handily dealt with as our pilots and material assets survive.
The real reason why this is the best fighter plane is because they employed the woke crowd. They got the Chinese and Africans to come up with the original design of the plane and they got women to do all the advanced engineering of the plane. They also got the LGBT+ crowd in to overseas and manage the whole project. This just goes to show what you can produce if you get the white man out of the way.
I mean the f22 is a bad ass plane with tech we cant know about. But the yf23 actually beat it in every test metric according to the usaf. But because of northrups cost overuns of the b2 program they chose lockheed. Id have loved to have seen the sexy yf23 advance the way the f22 did over the years.

the fact that the F22 production is no more, means only one thing...there is something better that is not yet public knowledge
Bingo.
gooni goo goo f-35
Actually it was because of politicians. The USAF wanted to keep the lines open and required 320 F-22s at minimum. The defence secretary at the time hated high tech high cost projects and shut down the F-22 production line.
gooni goo goo imagine what replaced the SR-71.

What an amazing aircraft!
In the future the designer will simply say something like, "Give me detailed specifications for a design that can perform efficiently and effectively tasks A to Z," and sit back as the AI does everything in a zippy that would presently take an inordinate amount of man-hours. That's assuming the AI doesn't turn against us.
This is very true
how would the AI turn against us?
I would love to know which plane (22 or 23) the military's test pilots wanted to fly...in combat. Which one would they choose and with which engine?

China: Spreads coronavirus...
US:
America is in debt to china by 1.08 trillion dollars so who knows, perhaps coronavirus is china's revenge lol
@@crushfruits2660 America pays interest though, that sweet sweet interest... china would only want that debt paid back if they thought the US would default on it... which if a medium to large scale war directly between the two happened (or just trump remains president and decides to 'stiff them' to save many), and neither is likely. China and the US may just posture against each other, and China may decide to sell at least some of that debt is small scall 'incidents' happen like a collision between in south china sea between a Chinese vessel transporting something to the Islands they claim (and have artificially expanded), and the US vessel on a 'freedom of navigation' exercise...

Well Michael Bay was the first director to get his hands on an F22 raptor so it could be used in Transformers 2007. Also "F-22 pilots never fly below buildings, thats alien, that ain't friendly."
ITS STARSCREAM!!!!!
Because in bayformers Starscream is a F22 Raptor
The technology was beyond there years.
I like the f22 raptors but in a naval version isn’t made yet and it’s is expensive I like it but I suggest making the. F-15 have a slightly stealth model so the cost is lower because our budget is getting larger but not large enough
But keep the f22
Boeing did put forward the F-15SE Silent Eagle for consideration in 2010 but they couldn't get any buyers and it was canned since the already stealth F-35 is intended to replace it by the 2030's anyway. Israel had renewed interest in the Silent Eagle a few years back but nothing ever came of it. It's still possible that it will one day go into production, especially for countries that aren't interested in the F-35 as more and more stealth 5th gen fighters continue to pop up around the world.
I love the raptor, To bad they stopped making them
Because theres no need to make many since it's the most advanced fighter jet even to this day despite the fact that it's already 30+ yrs old, Im damn sure U.S already making its replacement and will reveal when others already match the Raptors ...
@@michaelmanlolo29 To expensive for the amount they wanted

Very interesting...So it was that Lockheed had done much more testing flights that was a delta or difference-maker. But which one was superior or better in the fly-offs based on the criteria: speed, stealth, maneuverability, etc...?
In speed and stealth the YF-23 was better. The YF-22 was much more maneuverable however
The YF-22 was also less risky, at least according to air force assessments.

High price tag come with superb performance, seem normal to me.
High performance is guaranteed to come with a high price tag, but a high price tag alone doesn't mean high performance.
I hear this thing was re-engineered by Airbus, manufactured in Germany with composite material from France. The Kentucky goup (which is what composite is) didn't work out.
The F22 rapter is one of the best fighter jets in the world!
THIS VIDEO IS MY CHILDHOOD!
awesome video I watched the entire thing!
My favorite is the SU-57. I think it would take out the raptor.
@@kirkford7968 Which one of the 2 existing would you bet on taking out a Raptor? 🤡
Moving on to 7th Gen. OMUAV. Israel put the updated Raptor Pratt Whitney's in one of their F-16's. Walked all over the SU57 at the biggest middle east military air show "Lion of theDesert".
Goddamn Godzilla in Fire Mode
However 26 u.s. states have Yf-22 production facilities....
And it's the only fighter jet in the world that can super cruise.

@@davidduhe1657Or the dual-band radar on the Su-57.

I love the F-22... can't believe it's still the bar that Russia's new T-50 is trying to match 20 years later.
I wonder if the cost overruns would have happened if the YF-23 was chosen instead.
Even though f22 is not a new priduct, it's still the most advanced👍

A wonderful bird, and totally badass. Too bad it took 15 years between a flying prototype and when it entered service. But I guess it was to let the F-15 run its course and give time to equip the F-22 with better avionics.
All the f-15 eagle needs is a state of the art upgrade
AMERICA!!!!!🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
GOF BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!
Heard the jet from transformers decided to retire here. Glad he’s doing something with his life now
28:25 Well it’s 2024 and other country’s are developing stealth fighters now so yes we need the F22
Don't be surprised to see the F-22 as a drone with its pilots sitting in airconditioned demountable cabins in Arizona.
There is no advantage to that. It already is as protected as it needs and has the intelligent of a human that cannot be interrupted as it fires it's suicide drones.
It already is an optimal platform
To the greatest aircraft ever built
this one is so good that only problem is the man flying it. Now everything else beyond this will be drone. Why have a pilot? can't go so fast because you'll pass out, not so in a drone. Bigger!!! Better!!!
Not a word about the huge corrosion problems of the F-22's airframe!!
Fake News that’s why.....>
I wonder if they have built radar that can reflect the F-22/F-35 design. These air craft are not anything new any more.
Wideband radars
they can be detected the issue is having a missile track them and then and shoot them down. Though at this point they can be shot down though it is not as easy as shooting down an f 15.
only radars that can detect them cannot be fitted into a fighter aircraft.
Akash tells me telepathically that I am too knowledgeable for someone who is not in finance. Just too metal for my own good.

Hahahaha!!!! "Clubbing baby seals...."
I mean disappear ... one second it was there and then it was not.
why is a documentary about a super modern fighter uploaded at 360p 4:3?
Because it probably was made in the 2000s.

The f-22 is the sniper of jet fighters 🤣
Sukhoi T10 = The early concept demonstrator of the SU-27 Flanker
F22 is unstoppable
The sr71 is long forgotten
So price was also a factor that may have given Lockheed the edge?
This is only the second time I've heard the f22 be called the f/a 22
The real reason why this is the best fighter plane is because they employed the woke crowd. They got the Chinese and Africans to come up with the original design of the plane and they got women to do all the advanced engineering of the plane. They also got the LGBT+ crowd in to overseas and manage the whole project. This just goes to show what you can produce if you get the white man out of the way.
Watched video good
I still think that if the existing fleet of f/15's was upgraded with brand new system there's no need to build the raptors
