    Wow! A Tim's and McDonald's,lol. I remember my sister stopping in Northbay at Tim's to bring a box on her way home.

    I lived and worked in KL for a few years. It was an awesome place to be when i was in my 30s....

    My grandparents came from Poland to live there. They had my dad and aunt born after immigration about 1918. Grampy Kowal worked in the mines. My dad and aunt danced in a Ukrainian dance group. I always hoped to visit. They eventually moved to Toronto. They always talked about Kirkland Lake ..
