Decided to finally make more progress on Hard mode with my favourite character, Cain. Needless to say, I got Coupon floor 1. Got a free Brimstone, then the Evil Eye (Controllable Tears), Then Sacred Heart, and then got Almond Milk. Wish I didn't pick up No.2 floor 2, but oh well, it came in handy. Especially when I got Nancy Bombs. Then I proceeded to kill Hush, Isaac, ???, mega Satan, and Delirium in that run. So, now that's left is Mother/Witness, Dogma and The Beast. Greedier Mode, and Boss Rush. Then Cain is fully complete on Normal, and Hard.
Just go straight hard mode. No point in playing normal mode. I just wish normal mode can be removed as at times it can be very frustrating when you kill a final boss just to find out you accidentally set to normal and your effort was totally wasted.
@@justinlim795 I tend to like the normal mode just for the easier factor at times. Sure, it's annoying to me that in order to unlock an item for certain characters, I need to do it in hard mode, but eh. Plus, I do tend to play normal mode first, so I can UNLOCK something that will help me when I do Hard Mode.
I got the lazy worm trinket in a really bad isaac run and immediately found twisted pair afterward (I went on to kill mega satan, spawned the delerium portal, and demolished delerium)

I want strawman…please do the challenge to make up for it: play with kepper but you spawn with strawman. You cannot shoot, strawman must be the damage source or his familiars that he picks up. At the start of basement 1, one pedestal with a random item from a random itempool so strawman starts with something to make the first floor a bit easier. Its been 17 days
Its not like this run needed any help, but man it's a shame no Aquarius + Sacred heart on chest. One of my favorite synergies, honestly Aquarius could use a buff to have it's effects be more extreme. Imagine if it synergized with tech x or c-section or brim, it's one of those mid items with such high potential

I am kinda new to this game so can somebody explain me pls what the esc trick is about which matt used in the member card room. Or why he does that. Is it because of the double reroll from the explosion ?
When a reroll machine breaks, you have probably noticed that it rerolls the items twice in quick succession meaning that you cant get the first item it would reroll into. However if you pause just as it is blowing up (you probably need the unobtrusive paise menu mod so you can still see the screen) you can see what the first item was and if you want it you can leave and rejoin the game and it will skip the second reroll
