Great video, I love your videos you have helped me so much, I remember when I wanted to quit last year after I had my baby girl in June but I came here and found you and you told me don't give up and that it gets better, I want to thank you because now I'm almost 7 months postpartum and it's so much better that when I first started exclusively pumping, I'm now doing 7 pumps per day but I will be dropping one soon, thank you for the support and the great videos.
Thank you for all your help wih exclusive pumping. You inspire me i am exclusive pumper. My daughter never latched i. I exclusively pumped with my son also.
I love your videos, they've helped me so much. I'm also a member of BBB already. I was wondering if you could do a video of how many times should we pump every month. I'm 7 1/2 MPP and i feel like idk what I'm doing.
+Maggy Henriquez I'm so happy they could help momma! How frequently you should pump is based off of what your goals are. If you're nursing and pumping or exclusively pumping, if you're trying to increase or just maintain, etc. Post any questions you may have in BBB momma, the women in there are super helpful(: You're doing awesome!
Great video for the near future for me Alia! Btw, I found the FB page BBB & sent a request to be added (I also sent you a friend request if that's ok). I've gone through so much in the past almost month with my newborn baby boy. Would love some support from you & the group! :-)
+Naomi Butterflies Awesome momma! I'm pretty private on Facebook but you can follow my Momma Alia Facebook page if you would like. We're happy to have you and thanks for watching!(:
With little awareness out there your videos offer solid advice to women who choose to pump exclusively. Thank you! I am 11 weeks postpartum and producing 27 oz every day. I am currently pumping 8 times with longer stretches of 5 hours at night. At what point do you think I can start dropping to 6 pumps without affecting my supply?
Happy to help momma! I would wait until at least 12 weeks postpartum. I wouldn't drop more than one pump per month. Otherwise you may notice a sizable decrease. Good luck!
which breast pump is good???i purchased recently medela swing single pump...as here in Sydney hiring hospital grade is more costly n v won't get to buy it...so wat u recommend for good breast pumping???
+Chantel Gregory Yes ma'am, that video is coming! Sometimes breast milk can back up into your ducts inside the breast causing inflammation, pain and decrease output. They're no fun! I'll have a video coming soon all about the details of clogs(:
Hi there! I need to wean as quickly as possible. If I’m currently pumping six times a day, could I wean by increasing the time gradually (say 30 mins a day) all pumps at once, and still pump till empty on those until I get down to two pumps and then gradually decrease the pump time for those sessions? Will this method help me decrease my supply along the way so once I get down to two pumps I’m hopefully only procuring 3-8 ounces or the two pumps combined?
Have you dropped pumps successfully but still have the same supply. I’m looking into transition from nursing to pumping and eventually reduce the number of pumping session but don’t want my supply to get hit too bad.
I think every journey is different. With my oldest and youngest, I had a decrease in supply every time I dropped pumps. But with our middle daughter I didn’t, especially when trying to wean. It’s really hard to say one way or another. I’d encourage for you to keep a close eye on things that way if there is a decrease you have the opportunity to stop/increase/whatever!
Hello girly, I really need some advice I'm currently pumping 7 times a day at 6am,9am,12pm,2:30pm,6pm,9pm, and 1am and I have a regular supply that fluctuates sometimes it's low and others it's enough of a supply so I wanted to drop my 2:30pm pump because I don't get that much at that time because I only pump for 15 minutes. Do you think it will hurt my supply much if I do drop it? I'm currently 7 months pp..
+Trina Are you pumping until empty every time you pump? You could definitely drop that pump but there's always that risk that you'll lose ounces as you're no longer signaling to your body that you need those ounces:/ but you could always throw in a power pump during your middle of the night pump to help with that(:

If you're exclusively pumping I would go with the Spectra S2. Check out Amazon momma

Fixing typos- …”by gradually (say 30 mins a day) between all pumps at once
