I know this game had rudimentary cutscenes with the Budokai 3 engine, but the way that Goku said "YOU FOOL!!" to Frieza in this version is by far my favorite out of any version.
Hardware limitations are never an excuse for poor quality just like how state of the art tools are no guarantee for good quality. It all depends on your skill and the execution. These cutscenes are perfect examples. They absolutely shine with style and dramatic execution. With an atmosphere the newer games couldn't even imagine having. This feels like real Dragon Ball magic.

I always thought why were the game cutscenes a bit different from the anime but then i realized the game actually followed the manga not the anime. In my opinion the anime did it better than the manga. For eg, in the manga against kid buu goku becomes ssj3 and starts fighting right away which is way different to the anime.
@@DavidDoboni No burst limit was meant to be its own game series. It was planned to have sequels at one point, but it didn't do well enough. Sucks cause I would've loved to see a burst limit game go into the Buu and even GT saga.
TBH DBZ infinite world was the only dbz game that the story line is the real way it happed on ps2 well thats my opinion. games like battles of z the story was soo wrong. piccolo was helping goku fight vageta ( ape ) but he was killed by nappa way before he fought

Plus no music in the cutscenes to make it better. Like the visuals are cool but budokai 1 is the best to do it. Always had me on the edge of seat.
