There are nefarious ways by occult means to steal one spiritual identity, psychic breaking and entering/stalking, reading one’s akashic record without their permission, etc, and this video touched upon none of it. Not all personal expressions are expressions of the spirit. Take social(ism) media as your own example: people are so consumed with what others think and waste so much time trying to outdo who they’re not trying to impress, they waste many hours and days, curating, building and maintaining an image that overshadows their own self, presenting and image and life that is not even real. That is an egoic function, not a spiritual one. As far as the instances of theft you described, it can either be psychological or spiritual in nature: If psychologically motivated, it comes from a lack of awareness that they can do just as well in following their own way. If, spiritually motivated, they are aware of that, but they feel locked out of that potential or feel they lack the means, which, in my opinion is worse.
