Most cops don't defuse situations and Frank is a perfect example of one who got into that line of work because he's a bully and likes pushing people around. You can see it IMMEDIATELY in that first clip. He gets off on it and a person like that has no business being a cop. It is my genuine hope that in whatever life I have left to live I don't ever need to talk to another cop because, in my experience, they're brittle, power-obsessed bullies who do NOT have your best interest at heart. First, the idea that, if the officer would just give in to the driver's requests, everything would go smoothly, presumes waaaay too much on the behavior of random drivers/random members of the public. Answering that first question leaves a LOT of room for a demand for a license to be produced to be ignored as the driver tries to argue against the reason for the stop. Bottom line: First things first, as determined by the officer. Second, it IS the officer's job(one aspect of it) to maintain control of the stop, and courts tend to side (and have for quite a while) with officers, giving them the authority in almost all (if not all) encounters with citizenry.
What the fuck does “control” mean? In real life it seems to mean being the biggest asshole possible while being the most rude. Like all other cops, you are just a liar.
Let's face it Frank makes videos, and it would really be mundane if he didn't add some sarcastic dialogue. He pretends to be the "cool" cop. Ask yourself this question, why is this guy who has allegedly been a Deputy Sherriff for many years still doing traffic duty? Just saying.

Excuse me. "I don't know why they even pulled him over for 15 (mph) over the limit". What part of the country do you live in. There are laws, and for the officer to exercise discretion, a few miles OTL might not even equal a stop. BUT 15 over should not be a discretionary call.

Don't argue that the law you broke was wrong with the person who is supposed to uphold it. The thumb nail is deceiving because you literally had nothing that Frank did wrong, legally. Just that he could have been nicer to the first guy.

I’m almost 70, been driving since I was 16. Been pulled over I think about 6 times. I have never had a cop do anything other than introduce themselves, identify their department and tell me why I was pulled over, all before asking for my paperwork. This guys just an overly sensitive egotistical ass looking for confrontation, all for the camera. He’s clearly thrilled that he’s the star of a one man show.
I've told a cop once that before I give up one of my Rights, I must know if this is a valid traffic stop when being asked for my identification. The cop stumbled over his words for a bit before telling me my car fit the description of a a vehicle in a robbery. When I asked if they had a description of anybody in the truck, his response was, yes and I didn't fit that info. He then thanked me for my time and left, WITHOUT me releasing my personal info. Simce then, I had cameras installed in ALL my cars and trucks. Wish I could have one on my bike, but the video is never clear with the vibrations from a Harley engine, so I can record any interaction with cops, but hadn't happened, yet🎉
Based on the wording of the 4th Amendment, cops absolutely should state the reason they are detaining someone before demanding ID, so We the People know if the stop is lawful. Too many times, cops ask "where are you heading?" without stating the reason for the stop, so that question alone could cause the driver to question if they have been pulled over unlawfully. Frank gives off vibes he pulls people over for giggles and ratings, and neither of those are lawful or constitutional.
With ZERO comments towards why he is on the Brady list. You do realize that if there are ZERO comments as to why he is on the list makes that a voided entry right????
@gwillings He's on the Brady list for lying.. He has also switched different departments because of blind. He spilled coffee on my car laptop. Not once, but twice and on the second time he lied about it but found the truth. On the car. Camera
Hey Mr Flusche! I think I watched a video of another attorney reviewing the new California law. I have not looked into it myself, but I believe the wording suggests that the law enforcement officer is supposed to tell you why they stopped you prior to any questioning. This leaves room for them to just never question you, and instead order you to see your documents since they are not questioning you. Not only that, but we aren't sure whether or not it will even be enforced. I do hope though, that it helps make confrontations between citizens and police better.
Frank pulled me over. I was speeding. I did not ask him why I was pulled over as....I was speeding. I was respectful, had lic/reg in hand when he got to car. He wrote ticket for just below what might have been reckless op 'criminal' and could have used discretion in either direction as was on the line. He was droll/sarcastic with me (no film crew that day) as I was in car with a top speed 2X the speed he got me at.....we joked a bit, he wrote ticket and I moved on. Had no issues with his attitude, better than fake friendly imo.
The road sign thing bothers me. Officer Frank has absolutely no proof that the road sign is stolen. I myself have a road sign that was custom made for me by a private company to commemorate one of my sports hero's. It looks like a real road sign but isn't and I didn't steal it. So how does Frank know otherwise?
Deputy Frank recorded himself being an A$$. Its to bad the driver didn't put his arms out and insist on being arrested. I'd love to see Andrew get hold of this guy in court with this video as proof. The cop would have a lot of explaining to do and maybe a lawsuit for damages.

You should do a collab with the Pot Brothers Attorneys at Law. "It's shut the f*** up Friday! Don't talk to the police!"

Most laws are written to give the cop more wiggle room than if they were at a twerking competition. The law is laughable.
So how does Frank know otherwise?
