      @theobliviousinvestor6722 11 месяцев назад +19

      I've heard the same, he's on the Brady list, basically its usually from high profile cases where they lie on police reports (usually multiple incidents, not just one) or in court and there is video evidence that clearly indicates lying. I heard in his case he falsified overtime or hours worked and got caught. Hence why he is probably stuck doing traffic stops for the remainder of his career, since he can't be counted on to testify in court on a criminal case. Given his career/future prospects, that's probably why he acts like he does. Imagine doing a job where you know you will never advance in your career.

      @@theobliviousinvestor6722 Yet, if (and that's a BIG "if") he's on a Brady List, his sworn statements on a traffic citation can also be challenged as presumptively false in traffic court, and pretty much all of his tickets will get thrown out just by showing up and questioning the officer's truthfulness.

    Two things. 1) Frank didn’t fail to deescalate the situation with the first driver. He failed by being the one to escalate things in the first place, and continuously thereafter. 2) Frank deserves no kudos for letting the guy poke his head in the car to look at the radar. He let the guy see the radar, only in an attempt to embarrass him for the cameras. I’m also sure he figured it would put on a better show if the guy got out and walked all the way back to the cop car, just to be shown up and have to walk back. in AZ, (where Pinal County is located) officers do not have to tell you why they have stopped you. This could be to allow them to fish. The officer may pull you over for an "inoperable" tail light, as a reason to get your ID and search for warrants and if you come back without warrants the officer will just give you a "warning". First, the idea that, if the officer would just give in to the driver's requests, everything would go smoothly, presumes waaaay too much on the behavior of random drivers/random members of the public. Answering that first question leaves a LOT of room for a demand for a license to be produced to be ignored as the driver tries to argue against the reason for the stop. Bottom line: First things first, as determined by the officer.
    Second, it IS the officer's job(one aspect of it) to maintain control of the stop, and courts tend to side (and have for quite a while) with officers, giving them the authority in almost all (if not all) encounters with citizenry.

Too many times, cops ask "where are you heading?" without stating the reason for the stop, so that question alone could cause the driver to question if they have been pulled over unlawfully. I think Frank is a pretty decent cop. His New York attitude can be condescending and abrasive but I’ve been in contact with much worse cops with attitudes than him.

      You have to remember that police department have unlimited taxpayers money, it’s all just fun and games with little to no repercussions

    90 seconds in.... and its clear that this is another one of those 'officers' who has lost all common sense, compassion, and professionalism. Its all about his ego and his 'authority' over the people he stops. And cops wonder why they are rapidly losing the support from the public....

    Pass the "Fridays with Frank" law:
    On a traffic stop, an officer must articulate a lawfull reason for the stop including all traffic infractions prior to requesting any information.

    It's ambulance chasing lawyers like this who thinks he can solve all worldly issues based on his hurt feelings.
    Too bad I don't have a you tube channel to make a video : What "Lawyer Puffy Lips" gets wrong.

    I've watched hundreds of body cam videos and frank is among the snarkiest and the most reactive to things that offend him that I've seen. It's funny to me that they act like he's the model of a good cop.
