Good evening Sir To my opinion and whatever experiments I do on Radio at my home, Analog tuning radios are best on FM reception when you reside far from any FM radio transmitting station. China made FM digital module panels which are abundant in market lack reception of signals. But they are good in Cities where the transmitting stations are nearer. Delhi made Analog radios are available in local market at Rs.700-800 range. They are far better in FM reception. Yesterday I have purchased a Delhi made analog radio for Rs.800 from local market for my relative. Surprisingly it is receiving 6 stations from Pune city (67 miles radius) out of 7 and 6-7 stations from Mumbai (93 miles radius) out of 12 with extended radio aerial (without any wire or external antenna attached) on 2nd floor of building.
I do not think analog tuning is best don't purchase those Chinese radios.I have pagaria sanyoni model having FM as well as AM digital tuning.Unbelievable performance.I have also Chinese digital radio comparing with sanyoni I can give 2/10 to Chinese and 9/10 to sanyoni.

@pravindersheoran Sorry pravinder ji I not answered to you but to Rajesh ji where he said analog tuning is better than manual tuning. In manual tuning overlapping of stations may occur but in digital tuning it never possible.

Dear Pravinder Ji, Thank you for introducing us to a newer model of Pagaria 3 Band CRETA radio with added Bluetooth connectivity. Bluetooth connectivity certainly enhances its utility value. I see that the radio performed well on all three bands as well as on BT with quality sound output. Also I find that tuning the radio (on all 3 bands) was easy and smooth and thus, I infer that PROBABLY this is an analog radio. Also, I find that the radio has shown good sensitivity and selectivity. I am interested in purchasing this radio, provided the radio is based on a SONY IC. Hopefully one of our viewers will soon clarify the make/type of the IC used. Namaskar Sir. Heartiest Congratulations on acquiring New Three Band Creta from the house of Pagaria. Which I consider is a customer centric brand. And bona fide presentation of it's might, I must say. It's great to see that Pagaria removed unnecessary TV1 & TV2 bands which are now non-functional in our country. This further enhances the quality of Band Selector Switch and less prone to breakdown. Distortion for sure can be felt at high volumes both in Radio and Multimedia mode, but as usual, these radio's Desi Speakers are capable enough to emit melodious sound at significant volume levels that they are not required at all for further raise. Built quality, apart from Antenna is something that these India Made Radios need to improve further to make them last long even with rough usage. But it will result in high pricings too. Pagaria's Creta if showing up with loaded accessories along with, then one can compromise with its build quality here. It performed amazing in all three bands. And also, in Multimedia. As you already quoted on multiple occasions, that the FM Stations are located 90+ kms away from your Home Location. And if you ever get time, it would be an ultimate test for these India Made Radios to be operated near a strong FM/MW Transmitter to check their performance and optimization. Whether it performs the same or shows up with frequency overloads. I'll be waiting for your further findings of New Creta through comparisons with your other radios. I once again congratulate you for your brand-new possession and wishing you effortless tuning and listening from it. 73! 🙏

@@h.joshi_ ji, actually, let me share my experience with Radios and Radio listening a little. The 98% Radio listeners are in villages, and they mostly listen to MW band and local MW stations. Sometimes, they use tf cards (which they term as 'chip'). Most of these Radio listeners are aged people, and they don't keep Smartphones and use keypad phones. They use these India made Radios, which cost mostly between 500-800 from local shops. They ARE the ones who have kept the Radio listening alive. This channel (or we) are nowhere near promoting Radio listening. Yes, we are trying to promote Radio listening, and we always will, but we must know the ground reality that our reach to Radio community is less than 0.1%.

These aged individuals are epitomy of minimalism and they, in reality are true representatives of India's Radio Community. Which they are unaware of and in most cases refrain to show up to avoid unnecessary disturbances. That's an ideal state of mind where even the minute details of a daily routine is so precisely set that a slight interference jeopardizes the whole mood and course of the day for one. Best thing I love about being a part of a dedicated Radio Community like ours is that learning from learned maestros like you bring forward great many insights which one can learn & implement to improve their Radio Hobby. Here, bars are set and progressively demolished to attain the new highs. Comfort Zones are challenged and new vicinity of possibilities are expanded. Which's again, a subjective matter. FM was my comfort zone for many years. AM bands, both MW and SW were to go over the hedge that tested my patience like anything and helped me to come out of my comfort zone. It also encouraged me to challenge myself and my easy goings that I have created in other areas of my life. All to look forward and achieve breakthroughs. Chip (Memory Card) and Lead (Earphones) are timeless terms. And will never go outta style! Haha! 73! 😄🙏

Sometimes I have to say stuff like - this channel has done this and this channel has done that; but that's merely done to make new viewers realize the value of the channel or else I know very well that I have done only a little to influence Radio listening, there is a lot to be done yet; all I can say is - I have tried my best to promote Radio Listening; and because of that I have to listen to the Radio as well.

To my opinion and whatever experiments I do on Radio at my home, Analog tuning radios are best on FM reception when you reside far from any FM radio transmitting station. China made FM digital module panels which are abundant in market lack reception of signals. But they are good in Cities where the transmitting stations are nearer. Delhi made Analog radios are available in local market at Rs.700-800 range. They are far better in FM reception. Yesterday I have purchased a Delhi made analog radio for Rs.800 from local market for my relative. Surprisingly it is receiving 6 stations from Pune city (67 miles radius) out of 7 and 6-7 stations from Mumbai (93 miles radius) out of 12 with extended radio aerial (without any wire or external antenna attached) on 2nd floor of building.

I do not think analog tuning is best don't purchase those Chinese radios.I have pagaria sanyoni model having FM as well as AM digital tuning.Unbelievable performance.I have also Chinese digital radio comparing with sanyoni I can give 2/10 to Chinese and 9/10 to sanyoni.

@pravindersheoran Sorry pravinder ji I not answered to you but to Rajesh ji where he said analog tuning is better than manual tuning. In manual tuning overlapping of stations may occur but in digital tuning it never possible.

Dear Pravinder Ji,
Thank you for introducing us to a newer model of Pagaria 3 Band CRETA radio with added Bluetooth connectivity. Bluetooth connectivity certainly enhances its utility value.
I see that the radio performed well on all three bands as well as on BT with quality sound output. Also I find that tuning the radio (on all 3 bands) was easy and smooth and thus, I infer that PROBABLY this is an analog radio. Also, I find that the radio has shown good sensitivity and selectivity.
I am interested in purchasing this radio, provided the radio is based on a SONY IC. Hopefully one of our viewers will soon clarify the make/type of the IC used.

Namaskar Sir. Heartiest Congratulations on acquiring New Three Band Creta from the house of Pagaria. Which I consider is a customer centric brand. And bona fide presentation of it's might, I must say. It's great to see that Pagaria removed unnecessary TV1 & TV2 bands which are now non-functional in our country. This further enhances the quality of Band Selector Switch and less prone to breakdown. Distortion for sure can be felt at high volumes both in Radio and Multimedia mode, but as usual, these radio's Desi Speakers are capable enough to emit melodious sound at significant volume levels that they are not required at all for further raise.
Built quality, apart from Antenna is something that these India Made Radios need to improve further to make them last long even with rough usage. But it will result in high pricings too. Pagaria's Creta if showing up with loaded accessories along with, then one can compromise with its build quality here.
It performed amazing in all three bands. And also, in Multimedia. As you already quoted on multiple occasions, that the FM Stations are located 90+ kms away from your Home Location. And if you ever get time, it would be an ultimate test for these India Made Radios to be operated near a strong FM/MW Transmitter to check their performance and optimization. Whether it performs the same or shows up with frequency overloads. I'll be waiting for your further findings of New Creta through comparisons with your other radios.

If Radio listening goes up, Radios sell more, I hope Indian companies can also come up with better designs and build quality.

The 98% Radio listeners are in villages, and they mostly listen to MW band and local MW stations.
Sometimes, they use tf cards (which they term as 'chip').
Most of these Radio listeners are aged people, and they don't keep Smartphones and use keypad phones.
They use these India made Radios, which cost mostly between 500-800 from local shops.
They ARE the ones who have kept the Radio listening alive.
This channel (or we) are nowhere near promoting Radio listening. Yes, we are trying to promote Radio listening, and we always will, but we must know the ground reality that our reach to Radio community is less than 0.1%.
@@pravindersheoranji, very well quoted Sir. I agree your experience with Villagers indulged in Radio Listening without ever bothering and bothered by online ways of life. These aged individuals are epitomy of minimalism and they, in reality are true representatives of India's Radio Community. Which they are unaware of and in most cases refrain to show up to avoid unnecessary disturbances. That's an ideal state of mind where even the minute details of a daily routine is so precisely set that a slight interference jeopardizes the whole mood and course of the day for one.
Best thing I love about being a part of a dedicated Radio Community like ours is that learning from learned maestros like you bring forward great many insights which one can learn & implement to improve their Radio Hobby. Here, bars are set and progressively demolished to attain the new highs. Comfort Zones are challenged and new vicinity of possibilities are expanded. Which's again, a subjective matter.
FM was my comfort zone for many years. AM bands, both MW and SW were to go over the hedge that tested my patience like anything and helped me to come out of my comfort zone. It also encouraged me to challenge myself and my easy goings that I have created in other areas of my life. All to look forward and achieve breakthroughs.
Chip (Memory Card) and Lead (Earphones) are timeless terms. And will never go outta style! Haha! 73! 😄🙏

Actually, my Jyotish Guru ji, taught me a lot of things and then after that I have learnt to be grounded and never imagine doing influential things. Sometimes I have to say stuff like - this channel has done this and this channel has done that; but that's merely done to make new viewers realize the value of the channel or else I know very well that I have done only a little to influence Radio listening, there is a lot to be done yet; all I can say is - I have tried my best to promote Radio Listening; and because of that I have to listen to the Radio as well.
