Hi Lucy, I have a recommendation for a video: how to eat when depressed. I think it would be helpful to hear tips on what foods to eat when depressed and you don’t have motivation to cook. Maybe easy healthy nutritious meals that can be made by someone suffering from mental health. Just a suggestion. I really enjoy all the videos you put out they are very helpful and informative. I can say I know how to make a balanced meal because of your channel! Thank you 🙏 😊
That’s a great idea! I am very sensitive to the energies around me and when I moved to this new lower vibrational place and didn’t know how to block out the energy I struggled with eating healthy and self care when it wasn’t an issue before and I lived somewhere nicer but I have my bouts of depression and can’t shake it. So depressed here I lost my desire to cook or eat healthy like I used to
Always great advice! Something I do is keep nuts and Larabars/Belvita bars in my bag when I go out 24/7 and carry a water bottle with me. Sometimes I'll even throw in a banana for good measure on my way out the door. This way, I'm never super uncontrollably ravenous while outside the house and can either wait until I get back home to eat or make better, clear-minded choices at restaurants. Has helped a ton as an adult student that's constantly on the go!
I love this tips. Normally I'd time to eat properly. But some days I only had half an hour to cook and eat. So, that days I do what I can to prepare my meals before but even then the anxiety when I eat it's difficult to manage.
Planning and prepping is also a lifesaver for financial reasons and reducing food waste. The extra time you then get also allows for practicing mindful eating which is a huge priority for me as part of recovery. Thanks for the tips.
This is really helpful--time is usually what leads to me downslide. I just started ordering from an awesome meal service recommended by my doctor, La Root World. It is going to be my go-to for crunch times.
