when you have a long take off typically pilots leave the landing gear down 10-15 seconds longer than usual to cool off the wheels. You dont want to bring in hot spinning wheels prematurely.
That was amazing, the A340-200 is amazing! I never even knew there was such a plane until I saw identified one on flight tracker and saw it land in JFK, that was back in 2014.
