Just an idea, as I have no proof, but there is one more pirate I can think of that matches the main qualities of Zoro's fathers killer. Shanks? He was Mihawks Rival, so being Rival to the world's strongest swordsman puts him at a similar level. And even on introduction, Shanks is a pirate that kills people (though I'm less inclined to believe he would kill innocents). It would be crazy tho if upon reuniting with Shanks, Zoro shocks everyone by recognizing him as the pirate that killed his father in battle.

Design in general gets shaped by time and the state of mind. Voice/Talking 7-8/10, chill voice and good talking pace, but it sounds like you are holding back a little. Good script too btw Intro 3/10, like wtf dude, your Video is cutted so well but then there is this, pun intended, crappy intro. For real I was genuinly confused at first and thats not good, because its your first impression. I like the general idea of it, but please update this intro 😭 So thanks for the video I hope you will keep going 💪
Love your video especially the part with mihawk killing arashi that makes too much sense to not be true. But I still think tashigi is kuina for 3 reasons: 1. Their personalities/designs are too similar for that to be a coincidence (and oda doesn’t do coincidences) and I’m sure later down the line it’ll turn out her death was faked + memory loss. 2. She actually is the same age as kuina that being 2 years older than zoro. Pre timeskip she was 21 currently she’s 23 3. The birthday discrepancy is most likely a given birthday as usually in stories when a character with amnesia is adopted they’re given a new birthday(that being the day they’re found)
I also thought about Shiryu being the actual king of hell. I mean he was the leader of Impel Down and the level of Imple Down are also known as "hells". The building as well as the named "hells" are also reffered to the "hell funnel" in the book "divina comedia" from Dante Aligheri written in 1314. What if Zoro has to defeat Nusjuro to become a sword god, he also has to defeat Mihawk to become the strongest swordsman and he also has to defeat Shiryu to become the true king of hell. As a matter of fact Zoro never said about himself that he is the king of hell, he only said that he has to become the king of hell after his fight against king. Now I have something bigger bringing up Blackbeard, who is Shiryus captain and the owner of the darkness fruit, who also broke into Impel Down like Luffy. In chapter 244 we saw the Vearth statue in Skypia, which is most likely related to heaven and even more interesting is the cover page of the chapter. Its a coverstory from Wapol saying. "I, the great king, run away with tears in my eyes". I couldnt believed when I saw that in chapter 1085 we saw a silhoutte of Imu and it looks like the Vearth statue and at the end of the same chapter we can see Wapol running away from Imu with tears in his eyes. So I believe that Imu is the symbol of heaven while Blackbeard on the other side is the symbol of hell. Now the mother flame got revealed and it looks exactly like the hyroglyph which we could see in the cover story from Enel, who was the god of Skypia which is exactly where the Vearth statue is
With Egghead over and Saturn's inglorious exit, I would find it very funny if Mihawk took Venus out as a sort last minute confirmation of his title, before Zoro defeats him of course. The justification for why this hasn't happened already is quite simple. The last proactive thing Mihawk does in the story is spare Zoro's life, everything else is reactive. So obviously the most bored man in the world wouldn't take a trip to MarieJois but if Captain Buggy happens to stumble ass backwards into his own confrontation with the Gorosei, I could see Mihawk bailing him out. But jokes aside, as a serious theory, this is quite well put together and is a good framework for "Why Zoro is How he is, What's the deal with Tashigi, and What comes after Mihawk"
Bro fucking amazing video, with all the evidence you've brought up it seems more like a prediction rather than a theory. Is it bad I want Grand Line Review to bring up your theory cause I think more people are going to want to hear this.
Another observation. I think ethan is a amasuki as toki was a amasuki n her goal was to get back to wano. The amasuki were the previous shougunate. So perhaps kurina n such are amasuki wjo married into the shimosuki line.
Theres definitely something there with the amatsuki, shimotsuki, and kozuki families history! I think the key will be to uncover who created Shusui and the Shodai Kitetsu! That will tell us which families were the swordsmiths and which were the ruling class.
Zoros wandering amnesia could to be tied to his lineage. I still believe in the chance that toki is related to zoro somehow. Her or the next user of her fruit.
Talking about Shimotsuki's secrets, do you think that Zoro learned or develop his secret technique Sanzen Sekai from his father? It looks like this technique reminded Mihawk of something. And it really looks like the sun symbols from Wano, Alabasta and Kuma's church
Great observation! I assumed this was just the moment Mihawk connected the two together, but if he saw a similar looking man using the same technique then it makes a lot of sense that he would have had a moment of realization at that exact moment!
keep on cooking up these theories, I really enjoyed your first 2 theories on Kuro and Don Krieg another thing to note is that Bogard would make for a great matchup for zoro as we don't know his power level in swordsman ship and keeps himself hidden in the shadow. theory suggestions that could add more insight to the world of one piece could be on gin and axe hand morgan
finnaly! i have had this thought for a while about mihawk. basicly wondering myself the same questions as you did. love to see it even more worked out. enjoyable 35 great vid!
If mihawk did recognize him as a descendant of someone he fought in the past, he would have said something about it Meahawk doesn't seem like the type to forget about great rivals or challenges that he's surpassed
i think its also interesting to see how zoro kuina kinda parallel luffy ace relationship with the death and why is zoro havent seen luffy in G5 and why did gorosei gandhi have to do throwaway line ohhh ryuma is here..i feel like there is something interesting with zoro luffy and sanji at play here, and also all the major character we have known from wano kimda embody this theme of sacrificing themself for a cause or someone including zoro and momo as well..i think there is deeper implication for their sacrifice and void century, even alabasta with king cobra have the same theme playing out. as much as oda hates killing ppl he killed some ppl to show how their sacrifice is what made it possible for luffy to tap into G5...luffy meeting zoro for first time bro ate the onigiri that was dropped on the floor, momo refused to eat during the time they met, that guy in prison gave up his food for yamato...food seems to be major theme here...yamato who starved in getting a fruit to protect wano is very interesting as well..the theme of starvation and food is kinda prominent with these ppl
This theory is too perfect to sleep on, i hope its true

I really like your theorys. I find them refreshing since most feel kinda forced since a lot of ytbers must come up with a new one weekly. Anyway, this one in particular is the most interesting so far, although, i think Mihawk being Zoro's father killer doesn't quite add up. At least not with what we currently know. I mean, I don't see why would Mihawk kill Zoro's father but not him. Clearly Mihawk is interested in Zoro's potential but why wouldn't be the same for his father? I can imagine Mihawk leaving him alive just to fight him another day.
I think the difference is that mihawk was on a journey to become the greatest Swordsman when he killed Arashi. Now that he's at the top, and Shanks lost his arm, there's no one left to challenge him. And like Saitama he seemingly wanders around looking for a fun fight. If he finally found another rival with some potential, killing him is the last thing he'd want to do.
not bad. actually in a SBS of meahwk. oda sensei stated that "mehawk was already famous before the grate pirate era began" - means he was already made a name worldwide before roger's execution. although we see him during roger's execution. we don't see if his blade is black already. of course he is already stoic and expression less like he knew roger would die. which indicates to his vivre card details - mehawk being a clairvoyant.
I think Zoro's backstory is shoved in before Baratie for the same reason Luffy's is shoved in before Orange Town: They didn't want to keep it where it was in the manga because it disrupted the flow of their episode structure, but the next arc wouldn't make sense if they hadn't told it already.
Ryumas time was definitely after the void century not before. I've seen people say the magazine said 400 years ago, but idk the validity of that source. However we do know it was sometimes after because he's directly connected to modern Wano, he was said to have slain a dragon over the Flower Capital and his body and sword were buried in Ringo, two places that wouldn't have existed before they moved to the top of the mountain because of old Wano flooding.
This is fire, and it may even be true in the background but I feel like if it were going to happen in the series we would have got some proper setup for it in Wano. Oda said he wanted to reveal Zoro’s family in Wano but it became an afterthought in an SBS - not really what you’d do for a final showdown for a main character. Additionally I think Mihawk is definitely stronger than V. Nusjuro as the gorosei have been getting clapped by Luffy and Mihawk has a higher bounty than Luffy. He doesn’t have to be an anticlimax either, remember that Buggy is also going after the One Piece. Of course it’s possible the information will be revealed later. There are still plenty of leftover threads from Wano.
I think the reason why we didn't get the "proper set up" in Wano is because it's quite clear, from the story structure of that arc and certain SBS statements when the arc was releasing, that Wano's ending was very rushed. Because of that numerous things were probably left on the cutting room floor, as evident by Zoro's family tree being in an SBS and the various dangling plot threads strangely left unresolved. Despite this, I believe Oda still managed to include proper set up in Wano such as Ushimaru, Zoro's resemblance to Ryuma being noted, etc. I believe there will still be opportunities to explore Zoro's past later on, although probably not to the extent we would've gotten in Wano.
Yeah it was definitely rushed, but I feel like it could’ve got done in one chapter when Zoro was first getting Enma. We know Zoro wanted to visit Ryuma’s grave. You could easily have a conversation with Sukiyaki and Onimaru together with Zoro. They ask him about his resemblance to the Shimotsuki clan and he says that’s the name of his village.
Before I watch I've been on the kuina is tashigi train for years. Tashigi means "the common snipe" in Japanese. A snipe hunt is something that would have been introduced to the Japanese by American soldiers. Especially when you consider how many Japanese would be ignorant to the joke at the time. Tashigi is a giant snipe hunt and is actually kuina. In fact oda may get the world record for longest snipe hunt.
Tashigi does not actually need glasses. I don't know about pirate warriors as evidence, but literally every time tashigi fights. Her glasses are not on her eyes. She just has them on her nose or head. Every single time.
Tbh if it is Mihawk it still could be pirateS. Apparently Mihawk was part of a crew in the past and then he was "betrayed" in some mysterious way. Which is why he always worked alone until Zoro & Perona landed near his castle and he helped create Cross Guild. Maybe the betrayal was that hos crewmates interfered in his dual with Arashi and struck the final blow. Costing Mihawk his honor and pride as a swordsman.
7:50 It is not confirmed that Zoro and Kuina are closely related. They might be 20th cousins for all we know and might not be blood relatives at all (adoptions exist). Furthermore Tashigi might be related to Kuina from Kuina's mother's side, so even if Kuina is related to Zoro that doesn't mean Tashigi is. Maybe Tashigi's mother and Kuina's mother are identical twins and that is why they look alike. So as a Tashigi x Zoro shipper I'll be refusing the sentence.
Man I clicked on this video expecting to hear the same ole same ole, but I’m only a third in and I can say this content is 🔥 Subscriber earned Keep it up brotha
Watching that picture with young Zoro with 3 swords in each hand and mouth feels like a little fore shadowing of his determination and gives him Asura like when he defeated Kaku. 🤔
I think it’s still possible Tashigi is a clone of Kuina since cloning is somewhat new in One Piece and Tashigi is 23 so her clumsiness and bad eyes could’ve been a defect due to the cloning process not being as refined yet but your theory makes more sense Edit: rather than Ryuma losing to Ethan and dying from an infection in the wound I think it makes more sense he lost due to being weakened by a disease as the world government is filled with cowardly people which could include the Gorosei and thus Ethan
I always thought that unless Oda gives Mihawk some insane feats beating him wouldn't be enough to make Zoro the greatest because people would always mention Ryuma, Shanks and Roger. But if they were to reveal that Venus was Ryumas greatest rival it would mean that Zoro beating him would put him on atleast Ryumas level maybe even stronger depending on if Venus had his powers when he fought Ryuma.
Although I like the Mihawk killed Zoro's father theory, it doesn't make sense as it would've already been a reason to make him want to be the best. The Kuina flashback makes him want to be the best through a motive bigger than revenge, to carry his friend's will and make her achieve her dream through him, with her sword representing her. Her storyline makes Zoro never achieve his chilhood goal: to actually be better than her
Bro, I am not agreeing with your theory, jk :) I am totally convinced as you have legit joined all the dots that were disconnected. Big ups man keep posting such content on One piece would love to watch more of it 😉
I think the possibility, that Zoro saw the fight of his father is really high, because until he meets Luffy, he has a strong hatred for pirates

Voice/Talking 7-8/10, chill voice and good talking pace, but it sounds like you are holding back a little. Good script too btw
Intro 3/10, like wtf dude, your Video is cutted so well but then there is this, pun intended, crappy intro. For real I was genuinly confused at first and thats not good, because its your first impression. I like the general idea of it, but please update this intro 😭
So thanks for the video I hope you will keep going 💪
Incredible feedback!!
- Analytical skills 10/10
Love your video especially the part with mihawk killing arashi that makes too much sense to not be true. But I still think tashigi is kuina for 3 reasons:
1. Their personalities/designs are too similar for that to be a coincidence (and oda doesn’t do coincidences) and I’m sure later down the line it’ll turn out her death was faked + memory loss.
2. She actually is the same age as kuina that being 2 years older than zoro. Pre timeskip she was 21 currently she’s 23
Great channel name lol. I subscribed immediately as I saw it 😂
Welcome aboard!
Yeah you cooked 😭🔥 the Mihawk and Nusjuro stuff makes too much sense
Peak theories man!
Only small complaint is that the law and order sounds are high volume compared to voice
lets gooo new vid!!
Ive. Been. WAITIN! SUUUUUUPEERRRRRR
Glad you enjoyed it!
If mihawk did recognize him as a descendant of someone he fought in the past, he would have said something about it
Meahawk doesn't seem like the type to forget about great rivals or challenges that he's surpassed
WTF HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS WAS POSTED, BUT FINALLY I HAVE GREATNESS! ANOTHER AMAZING VIDEO!!
Thanks!
@@TheCrapCafe_ Your Very Welcome!!
An excellent theory, definitely one of the best Zoro ones I've heard.
Wow, thanks!
Hell yeah! Another banger my dawg
The king has returned
I love this channel, so fresh
The goosebumps i got with this video was crazy..
i think its also interesting to see how zoro kuina kinda parallel luffy ace relationship with the death and why is zoro havent seen luffy in G5 and why did gorosei gandhi have to do throwaway line ohhh ryuma is here..i feel like there is something interesting with zoro luffy and sanji at play here, and also all the major character we have known from wano kimda embody this theme of sacrificing themself for a cause or someone including zoro and momo as well..i think there is deeper implication for their sacrifice and void century, even alabasta with king cobra have the same theme playing out. as much as oda hates killing ppl he killed some ppl to show how their sacrifice is what made it possible for luffy to tap into G5...luffy meeting zoro for first time bro ate the onigiri that was dropped on the floor, momo refused to eat during the time they met, that guy in prison gave up his food for yamato...food seems to be major theme here...yamato who starved in getting a fruit to protect wano is very interesting as well..the theme of starvation and food is kinda prominent with these ppl
Yep, I like this theory, maybe a couple things are different when all is said and done but the Venus link, totally agree!
Finally a one piece channel with a good intro 😂
First time on your channel bro, good video bro, i will be watching and subscribed from here on out 🎉
Welcome to the crew!
not bad. actually in a SBS of meahwk. oda sensei stated that "mehawk was already famous before the grate pirate era began" - means he was already made a name worldwide before roger's execution. although we see him during roger's execution. we don't see if his blade is black already. of course he is already stoic and expression less like he knew roger would die. which indicates to his vivre card details - mehawk being a clairvoyant.
W theory, I watched the whole video 🔥 Cheers
Very logical thought process. I like it
man your theories are good
this expands so much on Parvisions idea of the Shimotsuki on the World Governement
OOOOoooo boy! Can't wait for this :)
You dont need to say swordsperson btw. The "men" in swordsmens includes all human. Similar to "mankind" refers to all humans.
A very fascinating theory that makes a lot of sense
Great video mate 🔥
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed!
love your work man, fav op theory tuber!!!\
Wow, thanks!
Fireeeee video
So Zoro vs Venus would essentially be the Strongest Swordsman of Today vs the Strongest Swordsman in History.
Wow, easy sub. I want more videos like this!
Welcome Aboard!
Truely "The Greatest Zoro Theroy Ever Made"
Tbh if it is Mihawk it still could be pirateS. Costing Mihawk his honor and pride as a swordsman.
just came across this channel and what a video man!
Appreciate it!
Man I clicked on this video expecting to hear the same ole same ole, but I’m only a third in and I can say this content is 🔥

Keep it up brotha
Thank you! And Welcome aboard!!
Hi crap cafe been a big fan since the korro video just wondering would you ever consider doing more videos on theory’s around east blue villains
(Or other early arks)
I actually have another one marinating now! I hope you like Fish! 😉
ARLONG!!!!!
Goshdarnnit, your theories leave me sitting here like, "fudge, I want to read this in an epic fanfic bsdfkhsfb"
Watching that picture with young Zoro with 3 swords in each hand and mouth feels like a little fore shadowing of his determination and gives him Asura like when he defeated Kaku. 🤔
Amazing video once again 🔥🔥
Thanks 🔥
Crappy Trent with another banger 💥
I think it’s still possible Tashigi is a clone of Kuina since cloning is somewhat new in One Piece and Tashigi is 23 so her clumsiness and bad eyes could’ve been a defect due to the cloning process not being as refined yet but your theory makes more sense
Edit: rather than Ryuma losing to Ethan and dying from an infection in the wound I think it makes more sense he lost due to being weakened by a disease as the world government is filled with cowardly people which could include the Gorosei and thus Ethan
Why would anyone clone a random girl from a backwater town in the east blue
Her storyline makes Zoro never achieve his chilhood goal: to actually be better than her
Best theories ive heard in a while
Excellent theory!!!
Bro, I am not agreeing with your theory, jk :) I am totally convinced as you have legit joined all the dots that were disconnected. Big ups man keep posting such content on One piece would love to watch more of it 😉
I gave u a shot and im going to subscribe i binged all your stuff..thanks for what u do and trenton is like New Jersey so yay
