I purchased my 1501 in February and had it shipped to me here in Trinidad about a month ago. The machine just sat there and I have not turned it on because I was unsure how to actually start. But I found this particular video really informative. Happy it was made, and feel a lot more confident to actually get started creating something. :)
Most appreciative to the learning videos... I've already started to make money after 1 hour of use. Will definitely be looking at purchasing a few more Ricoma machines in the future... (As we grow)
I purchased a EM1010 I am taking training Lessons now. some of it is very confusing. But I am getting the hang of it slowly. I found this Video helpful.
I use this tool, you are not going to draw a line on your clothing...use the Target Stickers that are sold with this product. You use the Target Stickers to check alignment, it's so easy!
The Embroiderer's Helper - Template Aid is NOT cheap $10 as you indicated, it's $20 for a piece of cardboard. I made my own template using the clear plastic sheet from the Dollar Tree
Thats awesome. Could you share it on our facebook group? facebook.com/groups/embroiderymastery/ We also might make a video about this since it might help some other embroiderers.

I've followed the lining tips and believe I'm hooping in line but it doesn't come out straight. Any tips on how you know it will be straight after hooping please?

I purchased my 1501 in Aug and it has been just sitting here, and I have been trying to get stared.I have been trying to find a video on how to get stared on your first design ( letters ) for a cap and how you do a letter design that has 3 rolls. I really like to do this on my computer and transport it to my machine, I do have it hooked up to my machine but it won't let me transport it over , do you have a video I can watch? I am just trying to do my first design, can you please help me.
Anyone else having horrible results with the embroidery helper? Followed the instructions (not like its complicated), marked the shirt, tried it on so I had an idea of where it landed, and its literally almost in the arm pit once the shirt is on....zero help
