You are most likely not squeezing/pressing hard enough on the string and fretboard. Working on developing that finger strength and that will help a lot!

I think the picking pattern is hard.

If it is too hard, you can work up to it and only pick part of it to start! Don’t worry, with practice you WILL get it!!
