Link & Rargh bid for items after they get themselves jobs in the Wildernress. They then have to take the money to an auction and bid on gear items to win in the fight. Who will win?

Ok, maybe making your own money to auction but bring back spinning fortunes and the forfeit of giving the other person the money you made if you lose? I know it's really simular but not only the right but the lacking of a plan and the forfeit might make it interesting
***Rng*** not *right* damn autocorrect
Every auction round is a big stab to the heart to team rargh. I might start switching to team link for auction rounds now, i just cant take it anymore lmao.
It's so hard being team rargh 😢
😂😂😂
Idk how Rargh thought he'd get something better than Karil's top, the odds are so low and he probably would've had like 3 or 4 food up on Link
Hes literally so bad at it, its like he turns his brain off
@@celestialsylveon6453 Its hard being team Rargh during auctions. I dont think he's ever won an auction round itself though theres been ones where Rargh gets lucky in the pvp and wins. After like 4 seasons and multiple single epidoes we know that Link is ultimately the better planner and strategist lmao
I personally think that blind bidding is way more interesting, as it introduces way more mind games and such. It also goes way faster, so that most of the vid isn’t just 100k raises going back and forth… Just a thought!
Man that was pure heartache watching him bid on that kite that didn’t help either of them and then letting go of that top
How can rargh just allow link to literally get all the decent armour drops and then bring only a helm to a fight 😭😭
We know which of them is smarter lol
LOL ikr?!
Seems to have a habit of saving money for the second half of the auction.. but then getting things at 2x or 3x normal price because Link can bid whatever he wants and 9 times out of 10 Rargh HAS to beat him and take it
So instead of it being smart not to spend early on, it's actually a bit of a shit strategy😂 once Link has half a setup to Rargh's amulet, he's already won because he can basically force Rargh to pay silly money for anything and everything out of desparation
Sorry for the rant, this bugs me on every single auction challenge😂
watching these bidding wars makes it hard to be team rargh
Doesint it tho ... dudes killing me with this
Literally have to switch to team Link. It’s been years of Rargh prioritizing glories while he lets Link buy a Voli lmaooo
Rargh you messed up that auction sooo badly... you should have put more pressure on Link for the Nightmare staff when he already had robes. He was committed. Then you fought for what you shouldn't have, like the shield when you saw Link was committed to mage. And then you didn't fight for what you should have, which was which was the Karils top
for real, mindblowingly bad decision-making there... team Rargh all the way but I swear he tries to get fancy all the time and it almost never works
Ngl your comment kinda ruined the entire video for me due to top comment on mobile so there’s that
Rargh blurts out his unfiltered thoughts during the auctions every single time.
Was Link supposed to be using shadow or smoke barrage? He was using shadow, auction said smoke
Wondered why Rargh didn't get poisoned hahaha good spot
It is an interesting tradeoff, one more max hit but not getting poison.
or how when using the staff of light he never uses sara strike?
The day they learn that dragon knives is one of the best pvp weapons is when these fights get so much better...
Lol link bidding more than he had on the last item...
Was looking for this one.
I'm a year late but his gp at the end was displayed incorrectly
I was practically screaming for you to get the mage bottoms since he already had a d plate.
1.5m on a staff of light when you're already going range.
He wasn't commited to range at this point.
@@dagger1331 his opponent was committed to mage, which most people could easily see
Spends all of that money on a staff and lets the Karils top go... D knifes with the K too would have been such a one sided victory for Rargh..
[Spoiler] I thought it was going to be a lot worse, but it turns out the deciding factor was going for a staff of light and not a range body
To be fair I think he could have had a better chance of winning if he just never switched to the staff of light cause that thing was hitting nothing and instead just shredded with those dragon knives, the range body would have made it a guaranteed win surely.
boys, please go back to the original tuesday and thursday uploads. What ever TWF content you guys give us we will enjoy. Consistency is key especially if you wanna keep growing as a channel.
We have plans to. I am in the middle of moving right now, but when that is sorted we'll be back to a strict schedule :)
@@Rargh nice man cant wait!!
@@Rarghyeah I think i speak for the majority when i say we love you, but guys you have to put out the content, would love a series
@@reinikons3000 unfortunately a majority of the fans hate the series concept so they’re sticking with one-offs for awhile
@@dawakat08 Why though? Balancing is hard but... its by far the most engaging imo
Auctions and Randomizer challenges are my favorites! You guys should do one where you buy rolls somehow on the randomizer, great stuff boys :D
I'm not 100% sure what rargh's thought process in these are... gets torva but doesn't sell out for Ktop? Dragon knives are dumby op in pvp as well.
i have no idea why rargh took that staff of light lol.
Yeah same. Dragon knives are underrated. Easy main weapon
It is logical, staff of light special attack meant he couldn't use ags special attack for a full minute
They arent even underrated in PK-spheres to be fair. But in a challenge like this? Easy choice haha. If he just put 2m in for the Karils he would have won.
And the kite
Okay, so hear me out: the selection, especially for these 14-item auctions, isn't at all random. You're guaranteed four weapons, but you're also nearly certain to get one body for each style, two (*maybe* three, but it's not likely) sets of legs and one or two helmets: that's what I've come to expect. That means two to three accessories, maybe four if you have no gloves on offer.
All of that means that you *need* to push hard for the first body, the first legs and one of the first two weapons that isn't only good for special attacks; it gives you options and, even more important, leverage. If you find a weapon or armor piece that fills out a style afterward, bid well on it, but let your opponent overpay if they're trying hard to take it from you. Only aim for one or two accessories (and treat spec weapons as one of these accessories), and only if they're good for your *current* best setup.
Boom. Now you're not scrambling for gear at the end of the auction. You might overpay at the start, but like we often see with Link, you can juice your opponent in the second half and especially the fourth quarter when they're looking at their last chance. If you catch the first two weapons, especially, you can wring the opposition's wallet for the last ones.
I love how link ended up with the cash advantage in the end 😂 how did that happen
Love the auction challenges! Team Rargh but it hurt me inside to not dump the rest of your money in the Karils lol
i mean, link could have outbid him no matter what. he had more at that point
@@jurgnobs1308 right, but there was a chance that he didn’t. He didn’t know how much money Rargh had so it’s possible he lets it go at 1.7m
I understand he didn’t know what the next item was. Just speculating for fun
@@mamaz86543 yea, he should have gone for it for sure
@@mamaz86543 You are correct, there was no reason for rargh to not dump the remaining cash on the Karils.
And why on earth he spent so much on the staff of light illudes me.
I'm not sure he realised how good dragon knives are.
I'm Team Rargh too, but his auction strategy ain't the best xD
Love the challenge concept though.
This was a good one. Two layers of decision making, with some pretty fair gear sets in the end.
Fair gear sets? Sorry, which video were you watching? Clearly not this one cause Rargh wasted money on pointless crap that had no benefit to him in ANY way and it was plainly obvious during the auction...
@@I_Crit_My_Pants Considering that the fight came down to a 2 food difference, I'd say the sets were plenty fair.
@@DaShikuXI Luck doesn't dictate fairness.
@@I_Crit_My_Pants with that logic ANY Runescape fight would be unfair, regardless of gear, since you're always dealing with hit RNG. Luck might not dictate fairness, but it certainly doesn't exclude it either.
@@DaShikuXI You're missing the point... your only defence is a 2 food difference, yet that would've easily not been a 2 food difference if someone hadn't been luckier than they should have been.
I love these auction style videos. Do more!!!
I just instantly like these when i click them now , even if i didn't enjoy the video ( which hasnt happened yet ) you deserve it for the time you spend on these , keep it up , love this series
Link bidding more than he has
Yeah nice cheating😂
It's the American way
Link had 1.1. Karils cost 1.5m and he had 2.6. Subtraction was done wrong in editing.
Links strategy in auctions: buy good items when they come, stay flexible, that way the opponent has to defensively bid for things they don't even want.
Rargh's strategy. Let link do that? Overpay massively for weapons later on? I dunno.
If I had a nickel for every OSRS youtuber I saw get a skeleton champ scroll from those dogs today, I'd have 2 nickels.
It isn't a lot, but its strange that it's happened twice.
even after years of doing these link can not follow simple rules...
Was literally rarghs fight to win with the knives and ags.. watching him poke link with a damn stick was hilarious glad I'm team link.
Link bidding 1.1m with 900k in the bank was a mind game power move 😂. He played rargh like a fiddle that entire auction.
That being said, was still an incredibly close fight. Love the concept and would love to watch this idea again!
Shouldn’t be allowed
Rarghs psychology level is beneath zero. Sometimes he's hard to watch especially when you're rooting for him
Rargh always lets Link run over him on these auction videos.
I'm really pleased to see this concept, I was thinking about this the other week as something to suggest as a mix up. Sadly I'm team Rargh so hoping he'll do well in an auction is always a lost cause
How'd he bid 1.1m but only have 900k.
Link casually bidding 1.1m when he only has 900k 🤣🤣
Team Rargh in shambles. Can't believe some of the decisions he made in the auction. Team Link all day!
Season of the SWITCH: Two New accounts. Building them up as best you can. The trick, is that every episode you spin a wheel to pick which account you go to, the one they have been building, or the one your opponent has started. Episode wins reward with xp for the account they last played on. The final fight comes down to a spin and whoever built their account the best….
Lol, both you and Flipping OSRS uploaded a video with an hour of each other where y'all got a skelly champ scroll from one of the Vet'ion dogs. Craziness.
I have a great video idea! Do a trade up challenge! Start at bronze armor and weapons and try to trade those for better gear! Limit it to like 50 trades total and fight with what you get at the end of the trades.
I am team Rargh all the way and always will be. But damn is it hard. Buying the staff of light and letting go of the karils top....😫
wait, link bet more than he had available
I feel lied to, i was promised a video at links channel and there's nothing, it's dead channel
I really love the concept of this one!! More like this one to come?
Wow watching further into this I’m genuinely upset that rargh didn’t get karils or even bet for the dragon shield it’s like god dude :(
Love the vids! I think it would really add to the auction videos if you were to add in the top left corner (by the item) which number item it was in the auction. I lose track!
Even I lost track LOL
This was a great one, same concept could give many different outcomes. Love it!
Finally some good fucking food
Edit: Rargh giving this man ALL the gear ffs
uh oh, i already know how this is gonna go. 1 of ya is gonna get the voidwaker blade or something worth like 20 mil and i cant wait to see the reaction
That would have been Rargh's fight if he got that Karils, damn
You should be forced to bring with you every item you won in the bid. Make things more interesting rather than just bullying someone out of items. Forces less food
No shot we didn’t go all in for the Karils!!!!
Rargh is always comically bad at auctions 😂
thanks for the video it was really cool, I like the spin on bid episodes (:
I feel like the strat for the auction is just buy all 4 weapons and win by default xd
I’m sitting in the dark in the middle of tornados where I’m from and still watched 😂
I'm loving to see this kind of content again!
to be honest tho, 2 dragon pick axes and link still had less starting cash is nuts.
Challenge idea - you guys start with 1m and you start an auction for skilling items (axe, pick, fishing rod etc) or to unlock/use individual skills
Good vid bro, and do whatever schedule you want, I'll vibe with the videos whenever I see them!
I was down on the dragon knives but they were crazy.
That’s why I bid so much on the other items… didn’t think I’d be main handing knives
@@Rargh You got a lil unlucky with the armour picks.
But seriously; dragon knives are a EASY main weapon. The dps is seriously high
@@aiarta2280 He didn't get unlucky lmao, he just didnt think things through, and spent too much on pointless items
They should do this but add a twist to where if you won the item and don't use it, it'll downgrade a food slot
Man 2 food? Jesus rargh that karil top would’ve helped SOOO much with dps AND defense to mage. Man I’m sad
"vet tian" crushes me
bro honestly, "sanfoo" serum too... wtf lmao
Rargh: “we’re gonna go the let’s let link spend all his money route” also rargh: loses PvP challenge having MORE MONEY THAN LINK! 😭🤦♂️ this one was a hard watch for me considering I’m team rargh. Sheesh man rip
Team rargh here but I have never understand your thought process during auctions lol
The throw is real lmao
Not that it mattered much but I like how link bid more money then he had at the end
Good idea, shit execution. I get maybe people found it funny how Shite Rargh did, however, you watch the whole video, see him attain the most money, to then fuck it up at the end for an anti-climactic ending. Nevertheless, id love to watch another episode like this, provided Rargh can knock a couple brain cells together in his decision-making.
That was a fun episode. Just some criticism to spice up the betting rounds because some bets feel slow, frivolous, and almost sleezy -- like betting 1.1M after 1M. I get there's some strategy to it with the existing rule set, but I think following poker style minimum bets of betting at least the previous bet would make the betting rounds a bit more interesting.
For example, if Link starts the bid off at 500k, subsequent increments must now be in 500k, so that Rargh must match the 500k and bet at least 500k more if he wants to to raise, putting the price to 1M. Link can then continue the bet at 1.5M, or anything greater than that like 1.7M, which would make the new increment 700k. Now if Rargh wants to bet, the minimum price of the item would be at 2.4M (1.7M + 700k). The math might sound a bit confusing at first, but thinking in terms of matching the other's bet and raising them makes it easy and fun.
You guys chanced each other with like every spec 😂 I can’t believe that didn’t end in ko
Man being team Rargh during auctions makes me sad 😂
Love this then the fight format!
Haven't seen the fight yet, but I feel like spec weapons are so overvalued in a deathmatch... total waste of gold, but I could be wrong
If you had the Karils top you would’ve won
Holy hell finally a video not a stream
right? lol I was like a day away from turning off notifications.
@Haunted Oath I usually like stream formats of games just not when its music being played.
@GhostlyGhille I can't get into it. Too much talking about random things not related to the game for me to watch
Did link post a video today too? I don’t see that one?
Rargh is an idiot, he saw Link was bottlenecked into melee when he got the platebody, and then let him take the ahrims skirt, when he could have easily taken it and set himself up nicely
I honestly think Rargh is the worst bidder ever lol. So hard to be team Rargh on these auction ones.
confused on why you didnt grab the spell casts with staff of light?
This is such a cool concept.
Rargh.... 900k on a D Kite? That lowers your magic defence AND ranged accuracy, when Link had full mage setup?...Why? And 1.5m on a staff that didn't say it comes with ANY spell... If you at least hadn't wasted the 900k on a D Kite, you'd have been ahead of Link when the Karil's top rolled around. You need to control yourself, loot at what you have and what Link has and have some patience instead of wasting $ on items that don't benefit you lol
I have been team rargh since before team rargh was a thing, but it really irks me the way he handles these auctions, they never work out for him. This time he started with 25% no ore cash and still didn't seal the deal 😭
At least I can take solace in the fact that he has won a vast majority of the recent challenges.
Regardless of the outcome - always and forever team Rargh
Dang. Came down to the Karils.
Rargh you let him get stuff wayyyy too cheap early on.
You should do an auction with hidden troll weapons
I am always so scared to watch these it is so stressful xD
Watching Rargh do these auctions..
28:12 shouldn't be allowed to bid that much without actually having it. That's stupid (not that it matters in this case)
Woot woot a video!!
Wouldn't torva make max hit ko ags so much more likely?
more auctions !! Rargh gotta step it up though
I suggest doing one of these but 24hrs to get gp. And you can't talk to each other until the reviel
my boi just forced me into an advertisement with no warning. HARSH
link destroyed rargh in the auction lol. Tough day
Rargh's bidding was atrocious 😂
Rargh fumbled this bad
AauuuGGH SANFOOS!
Rargh and auction challenges just don't go together... My man you need to stop announcing that you'll pay anything for an item. And you do not need three weapons 😂
Rargh pisses me off every fucking auction
Morre videos pls. More livestreams turned to video or vod ❤❤😂🎉
