I agree with you for the most part but in a different way. Kishimoto needs to give time periods like dates and number of years. Examples are all of the 3 shinobi wars. We have no idea why they started, how long they lasted and the years to the series in which they end or how far apart they were and the ages of some of the characters. Like how old was Itahci when the 3rd war ended? How long did it last? How long did he grow up in it? What about the 2nd and 3rd wars, what was the ages of the Sannin? How old are all of the 5 villages and how long did it take to make them. We have no chronically dates if he doesn't want to make specify years just say "the 3rd shinobi war started 25 yrs ago and ended when Sasuke was 3 so like 13 yrs ago and Itachi was 8." Bang! Give reasons and how many years ago these events , how long they lasted, and at least give a full list of all the clans in Konoha. We have characters like Kakashi, Minato, Kurenai and we know nothing at all about their clans or have any other members, we don't even know Jiraiya or Might Guy's clans and they ALL come from clans since its based off of Feudal Japan. We don't even know the name of the continent or of the surrounding continents just sayin. WORLD-BUILDING!!
The whole byakugan thing is pretty interesting now that the series is finished. Its ironic that kakashi was right and that the sharingan actually did decend from the byakugan. You'll have to excuse my lack of cited references for that information beyond the movie because it's been months since I finished with the Naruto manga. Saying I remember reading it isn't going to be good enough and I am aware of that, but I really don't care enough to actually go back and look through the last 100-150 issues give or take to find where Kaguya and her bloodline started to actually come in to play just to cite it. If I'm wrong I am more than willing to admit it but I'm pretty sure I'm not.
Biggest let down was not knowing what happened to Uzumaki Clan... They had their own village, unique skills Fuinjutsu and chakra chains with very unique chakra but sadly they didn't have unique eyeballs
We know that they were wiped out by other nations. The other nations made an alliance to wipe out the Uzumaki clan, because they were too op with their sealing jutsus
Just a thought but what if naruto had a part 3 where he was on the road to becoming the next hokage and to achieve his goal he had to learn about the other kages and what there struggles were. It could be a great opportunity to show the naruto world and finally allow naruto to become a proper kage.

It's the fact that the world kishi created and the history he created in naruto was very interesting. And he only hints at it mostly throughout the series and in doing this he always creates more questions than answers. He does this A LOT. Just by exploring the narutoverse history he could have kept the story engaging and interesting by throwing in chapters of the founding of other gakures or chapters of past wars instead of turning the story into the shit show that it is now. It wouldn't be boring if he made it interesting, which is his fucking job. Most of the clans are only irrelevant because Kishimoto didn't make them relevant. The Uchiha weren't all that relevant to the plot in Part 1 at all. Part 2 comes around and now they're decendants from ninja god.
We can't expect Kishimoto to go into as much detail into the other villages as he did with Konoha because it would take too much time, a lot of it has been trusted to our imaginations. As one of these gentleman rightly said, its called 'Naruto', not 'Shinobi'.
YOO! KoL you are absolutely right on point with this vid. The only time kishi has slightly dove into the clan system was in chapter 533 called "An Oath" where on pg 12 he flashbacks to a convo between chouji and his dad talkin about the ino-shika-chou formation. And how chouji is a 16th gen akimichi. And seeing how Tsunade is the granddaugther of the 1st Hokage that would make her a 3rd gen since the founding of konoha. Meaning the Ino-shika-chou clans were together 13 gens before it's founding.
the hyuga are so much more interesting than the uchihas...why are they not more focused on?...I mean their eyes design and powers are so much cooler but they didn't get upgrades.......they don't even have to really hit you to kill you...with just palms they can damage you internal organs.... kaguya is a hyuga...and hamura is too....they are the first clan...wtf?...they get shitted on the entire series in favor of the gay uchiha who are suppose to be extinct....
@@razkable I agree with the Hyuuga Clan getting more attention, but honestly compared to the Uchiha's, they're Abilities are not that much interesting. I know that this is just an Opinion, but c'mon, you won't see people wanting to have a Byakugan instead of an Sharingan. Even if I won't list all the crap op stuff like Mangekou Sharingan,Susanno or Izanami or whatever it's called, the Sharingan still is more interesting and cooler. Wich is why they should get more screentime, but I doubt that they are gonna be cooler than the Uchiha.
I 100% agree with you about the Kages, the clans, and the other villages. But you didn't mention the Jinchuurikis. Despite seeing their abilities, we still don't know a lot about them. The only Jinchuurikis that were developed were Naruto, Gaara, Killerbee, and maybe Yagura. The rest, we only know about their abilities. Nothing about how they were captured by the Akatsuki or their personalities or if they got along with their Bijuus.
i forgot where it was stated but it was stated that every clan who was defeated by the uchia and senju aliied with them and when the hidden leaf village was formed they became part of the village as well
True peace and secrets do not coincide maybe Naruto is going to keep secrets to preserve peace lol. Good video though Kishi really did explain the other clans for shit. The byakugan seriously needs to get some love, It would be cool to know how the other villages got into the village of the leaves, Plus we need to learn more about the other 4 nations. I really do wonder who the other first kages did their job. The Uchihah and Senju really do get all of the love.
in conclusion, I just have to assume even Kishimoto can't remember everything about this world he created, he's trying to avoid inconsistencies, and focuses on whatever's important at the time.
Damn, King. I'm glad you touched on that issue. I've always been fucking peeved that Kishi never explained anything. Especially with the Hyuga and shit. I mean, what happened to "The Byakugan is the predecessor of the Sharingan"? And now the Uchiha are direct descendants from ninja god (as BrotherDan put it)? The fuck? Did that get chucked out the window? I wanted him to flesh out the clan histories / cultures as well as that of the major villages. These are all important factors, man, damn.
Lastly, We may be entering another line-up of fillers soon, since the Shinobi War is about to begin, So I think this may be a perfect time for Kishi to cover those topics.
until I get into from those sources I have just named them I will take that into consideration but for now I know this isn't the final arc, hell no, and if anything we are ON the climax of the war itself.
Well honestly I think Kishimoto should write books. Why? Think about The Lord of the Rings. Huge detail. Every single species can be explain. And I personally would buy all those books. Just make a "Village Hidden in the Mist: Story of the Land of Waves" or "Hyuga: Bitter Rivals in Head and Branch". Even if he writes them all after naruto is finished, I'd still read 'em.
The 5 major nations are: The Land of Fire(Leaf Village), The Land of Water(Hidden Mist Village),The Land of Earth(Hidden Stone Village), The Land of Lighting(Village hidden in the clouds) and The Land of Wind(Hidden Sand Village). There are also other smaller nations and villages between these major nations, some of these smaller nations are the Land of Waves, Snow and the Land of Iron.
I agree Kishi should go more into detail about the other clans but that would probably take at least 50 chapters to do and that is just with the clans affiliated with Konoha let alone the various clans within each of the other hidden villages. I believe many of the other clans like the Akimachi/Nara/Yamanaka were already affiliated with each other and Sarutobi clan long before the hidden villages were formed, but I would like an in depth look into the history of the Hyuuga clan though.
I guess Kishimoto is paving storyline for the prequel to Naruto, where he tells the story from the birth of the sage to the start of the shinobi world as we know it today.
i agree, totally a missed opportunity by Kishi, but it may have been too dark for this series to truly delve into. that would make sense to me considering Naruto's demographic i would also love Kishi to reveal more detail about each shinobi village and their founding clans a series dedicated to clan warfare during a pre-shinobi village timeline would be awesome for older guys like me, but it would be way too graphic and dark for shonen
yeah reading the chapter now (78) Kakashi says the Hyuga are supposed to be the oldest and greatest bloodline of konoha, he later says that, it is said the Uchiha's origins come from the Hyuga, The Byakugan is similar to Sharigan, but it's ability in insight surpasses the Sharigan. At any rate I assume it's the other way around, where the Byakugan, don't see anything about how the mutation occurred, so my bad. But yeah what little explanation behind the Byakugan's origins don't really fit
That's the reason why I know this war ISN'T the last arc, I did say it was the last arc but when I think about it, MANYY shit has been unaddressed and unexplained, we don't know other previous Kages and what is their names, who created the Jyuubi? Who is Konohamaru's parents? Who is Tsunade's parents and which one was the First Hokage's son or wife? More depths into the Hyuga, Inuzuka & etc, where is Kiba's father? Like you said how did OTHER clans get accepted into Konoha and etc.
Yeah, you're right. Flashbacks about Naruto and Sasuke fighting at school when they were kids is much better then learning the History of another village.
I agree although it is something that Kishi should have thought about doing or think about doing, it would seem way too out of place for him to start talking about the history of the Five Great Nations during the Fourth Great Ninja War. There is always the possibility of him making another arc to explain the history of the Five Great Nations but it doesn't seem too likely he should have covered the history of the Naruto universe befre he started the war.
I do think Kishi has a lot to explain or put into place. And it would really be messed up if the series ended with a lot of unanswered questions. As for the Uzumaki Clan Though, Many of them did die indeed, but they actually migrated all over the world. That's why it's assumed that many of the red-haired characters may (or may not) be an Uzumaki. There may very well be considerable amount of Uzumaki left.
i completly agree with this man he should do a arc of the beginnings of the villages and everything that it comes w mabye even leadn up to the first shanobi war
Well if you think about it Akira Toriyama san wanted to end dbz many times like at frieza cell. Only because of the fans demand and his editor forced him to make more. So being forced to make a series he did a pretty good job with each arc. Effectively creating the most recognized anime in all the world.
it would take a whole other animals series to go through the village formation, which is why kishimoto probably didn't elaborate more on each, they can always add to the canon
Edward Walker avatar the last airbender exsplored each nation and gave insight into there culture and history in just 60 episodes. Why couldn't they do it in 493 and counting
And besides, KOL, if this was the last arc it would have been confirmed from Shuseisha, Animenewsnetwork & Shonen Jump itself, it's definitely NOT the last arc, Kishimoto still needs to develop the other side characters(the rest of the rookies), and also Kishimoto LOVES off flashbacks so we will soon see more shit other foundations of other clans, Kurama said that Naruto still has a LONG way to go before mastering his full Bijuu transformation, that is a SIGN of another time-skip.
I think Kishi should give a brief explanation of the foundation of the other villages, but if you think about it, we're still learning stuff about the leaf village. If he wanted to do an in-depth thing over the other villages, it would take too long. At this point in time I think it wouldn't fit in very well for a random description of the other villages while the war is happening. Whether people like it or not, not everything is going to be explained. We shouldn't criticize Kishi of this.
there's even more countries than the big five, there was that steel country where their military power is comprised of samurai rather than shinobi, and then a bunch of other smaller villages. I think after Senjuu and Uchiha decided to make a village they conquered other clans or they just randomly joined. The world of Naruto is too big considering how the main character works, he goes to one spot deals with the problem then goes back to konoha, It'd best to have some sort of spin off for this.
uchiha and senju had allies just like in any wars, countries or clans will have allies so when they formed the village they all brought their allies to form one country. as for the byukigan being a descendent of the rikudo's renengan I don't thinks so. my understanding is that rikudo was just had a huge exceptional abilities amongst other ninjas during those days. kinda of like pain's renengan made him uniquely strong amongst other ninjas.
but for the hyuga clan i always thought that they were born from the uchiha clan and since they werent full blooded uchihas they got a handy me down version of the sharingan
Well nobody really cared alot about seeing how the other villages got started until recently. If you think about it, the other villages really didn't play any important role in the Naruto universe until the war started. I think Kishi overlooked the other villages because nobody really cared to hear/see how the other villages started. It's kinda late for people to start asking for backgrounds of the other villages now. Because he's come this far into the ending of naruto. Just gotta let it slide.
Wow just made me realize all the hidden potential this series has/had. The history of the clans the main hidden villages along with the other villages. I just realized Narutos world could be almost as expansive as One Pieces but it cant because its called Naruto its title alone limits the series. Were there any other legendary ninja besides Harashima and Madara I felt like Muu was a great addition to the story but there needs tot be more.
If looks can kill = Naruto Didn't focus on Naruto as much as it should've, nor did it focus on any other Clan outside of the Uchiha. Hence, the Uchiha having so many Deus Ex Machinas.
nagato, kushina, karin, mito, and naruto are uzumakies... nagato- rinnagon, kushina- special chakara also the second kuuby jinchuricki, mito- first jinchuricki also the first hokagase wife, karin- special healing powers and sensory, naruto- third jinchuricki and is the first to controll the kuubys chakra to the fullest.
Its so true but I thought that the huga clan was sorta explained during the chuning exam, oh and you have to give him credit for stating who the third was of the mist, oh and since almost every body with red hair is an uzimaki does that make the girl from the sound four an uzimaki
Kishi could have used missions (its funny that they simply disapear from the story) to explore other villages/parts of their world and while doing that we could see how each village work or their history or mentality towards ninja way of life, something like that. But seeing how kishi is building is story thus far im not sure i wanted that anymore,he probably create more stuff for Uchiha and senju...
With that said I feel that Kishi should come out with a gaiden series after he finishes Naruto, to show things like Sakumos back-story, Mifune and Hanzo, Danzo and the root, Muu and the previous Kages, Hyuuga, Akimichi, Nara etc..
I never really cared about the other villages too much in the first place i only started caring a little bit when the Five Kage Summit arc started. It seems kind of strange though how Kishi is throwing in bits of information about the Five Great Nations this late in the story during the war it seems kind of out of place like he is trying to cover some things that he never got around to doing.
Hello man i couldent see this in my supscription thingy and found this just becuse of i went in on you channel. dont know if its on my side that its bugged or what ever just telling you :) good video keep the good work up :D more fairy tail tho :D:D:D
If the mokuton and sharigan came from the genes Sage of Six Paths you wander where the other keke genkai come from. It would have been or be cool if kekkai genkai comes from the sage of six paths deciples and he some how gave them these abilities.
We no little about the 2. Hokage too... But I agree with you Kingoflighting, there is so much left out in the Naruto univers and espacilly abut the clans and I am very tiered hering about Uchiha, senju and Uzamaki clans we no enough now about them espacilly Uchiha and senju. Would be cool if there came a book explaning the clans system and all relations between clans but I hardly belive Kishi would do that...
Yes I want to learn about Mei that would interest me. We just need to learn more about the other 3 kages because they just came out of nowhere in shippuden.
Did I say anything about Oda explaining the history of other countries? All I said is that people who what Kishi explain all this is asking for too much. Yes,there are a bunch of missed opportunities but.....we aren't the ones writing the damn series.
And this is why I watch One Piece for the story and background whilst watching Naruto for the anime fixation. There is alot of mystery in One Piece that keeps fans guessin.
I don't think we need to know how the other villages formed. They probably saw what Uchiha and Senju did and wanted to copy it. Although I would like to know more about the clans and how the byakugan and sharingan and rinnengan are related. I would also like more back story on Harishima and how his brother made the reanimation jutsu.
I agree with all your points. I will say that if Kishimoto does NOT address these issues leaves out unexplained, I will dislike Naruto even more. A very good long ongoing series should not have frequent plot holes and inconsistencies in my opinion.
Dude u were so on point wit dis comment til it wasn't even funny cause nobody has explain nagato how he was able to hold the rinnegan without having uchiha dna because obito needed both dna's and madara needed both cause it's like u said eyes came from the eldest son(uchiha) and the body to the younger son but the uzumaki r distant related to the younger son (senju) so that can mean only thing the uzumaki hold both bloodlines the sage of six paths is an uzumaki
I am re-reading naruto the entire series., they just explained the cadet and main branch system of the byakugan but not the hisyory of it., and it's funny coz' it was addressed there that they are the strongest.
Just because he hasnt shown anything yet doesnt mean he wont later on, so it isnt a missed oppertunity until the series is over. And the reason Kishi hasnt shown the Naruto world too in depth at this point is because it would deter too much from whats happening in the story now, it would become unfocused.
we do know that the 1. Hokage beat Madara and I hope that fight gets animated at some point. We could know more about Konoha villige creation by 1. Hokage and then the conflict between Madara and the 1. Hokage...
Yeah true. Kishi focused much more on Akatsuki rather than the hidden clans!! Naruto could have been much better had he included some clans in the storyline. oh well
everything here is true. but just got to say, kishi wanted his manga to be 2 things: 1) a story about a boys life and back ground 2) a novel , short and gets to the point. kishi didnt anticipate the potential his manga would reach, the build up he not knowingly created for the ninja world was his biggest let down. he didnt mean to, all he wanted to do was just tell the story of NARUTO. of course i love it so far, but maybe if kishi had a different approach it would be VERY different.
Although I'm a big Naruto fan, I realize it has a lot of "missed oppertunities." The only way to fix it would be to extend the story in a way that we get a third series. Perhaps another time skip. And a REAL one, with REAL improvement, like One Piece. Because if we get another series, which I think is necessary looking at the way the story is written, it might be justified and everything will be explained.
i never heard about minatos origin either and im agree with you there is a lot of material about ninja clans i mean just look Kimimaros abilities, his power is rare and very interesting and he was the last survivor of his clan, i just want to know more about the other clans and the first kages ,come on kishimoto
Sounds like you wish Kishimoto did some advance world-building for the world of Naruto.I'm sure Kishi didn't care about explaining other villages or clans with depth when he introduced them & now it's too late for him to do anything mostly because he didn't think them in the long run.I'm pretty sure if Kishi knew he was going to do all this eye crap,he probably would have made the Byakugan important or advance on it,which would make the Hyyugas have more importance.
Before i even start watching the video...Tenten...The fact that she doesn't have a last name in a series where your last same defines who you are as a fucking Ninja is terrible.

Senju clan ultimately should've never existed. He should've kept it to the Senju brothers and left it at Uzamaki-Uchiha-Hyuuga as the main clans.
the hyuga are so much more interesting than the uchihas...why are they not more focused on?...I mean their eyes design and powers are so much cooler but they didn't get upgrades.......they don't even have to really hit you to kill you...with just palms they can damage you internal organs.... kaguya is a hyuga...and hamura is too....they are the first clan...wtf?...they get shitted on the entire series in favor of the gay uchiha who are suppose to be extinct....
I guess Kishimoto is paving storyline for the prequel to Naruto, where he tells the story from the birth of the sage to the start of the shinobi world as we know it today.
i agree, totally a missed opportunity by Kishi, but it may have been too dark for this series to truly delve into. that would make sense to me considering Naruto's demographic
i would also love Kishi to reveal more detail about each shinobi village and their founding clans
a series dedicated to clan warfare during a pre-shinobi village timeline would be awesome for older guys like me, but it would be way too graphic and dark for shonen
I like these rants keep up the great vids
yeah reading the chapter now (78) Kakashi says the Hyuga are supposed to be the oldest and greatest bloodline of konoha, he later says that, it is said the Uchiha's origins come from the Hyuga, The Byakugan is similar to Sharigan, but it's ability in insight surpasses the Sharigan. At any rate I assume it's the other way around, where the Byakugan, don't see anything about how the mutation occurred, so my bad. But yeah what little explanation behind the Byakugan's origins don't really fit
You my friend just earned a subscriber
Love your rants bro, I agree with you. Keep it up.
What I don't understand is how they said the Sharingan was just a side branch to the Byakugan.
im sure it'll come out sooner or later.. hopefully... cuz this been on my mind alot
If looks can kill = Naruto
Didn't focus on Naruto as much as it should've, nor did it focus on any other Clan outside of the Uchiha. Hence, the Uchiha having so many Deus Ex Machinas.
True
nagato, kushina, karin, mito, and naruto are uzumakies... nagato- rinnagon, kushina- special chakara also the second kuuby jinchuricki, mito- first jinchuricki also the first hokagase wife, karin- special healing powers and sensory, naruto- third jinchuricki and is the first to controll the kuubys chakra to the fullest.
Its so true but I thought that the huga clan was sorta explained during the chuning exam, oh and you have to give him credit for stating who the third was of the mist, oh and since almost every body with red hair is an uzimaki does that make the girl from the sound four an uzimaki
Yeah Konoha! We're Here! WOOO! :D
No, He should make a data base of all main shinobi, what you said, and the battle history. Not to mention the summary of it.
It was the younger brother who had the spiral rinnengan
The village hidden in the grass use to control the Naruto world as an empire, all 5 great nations.
Dude u were so on point wit dis comment til it wasn't even funny cause nobody has explain nagato how he was able to hold the rinnegan without having uchiha dna because obito needed both dna's and madara needed both cause it's like u said eyes came from the eldest son(uchiha) and the body to the younger son but the uzumaki r distant related to the younger son
(senju) so that can mean only thing the uzumaki hold both bloodlines the sage of six paths is an uzumaki
He could do a spinoff that starts from when Rikudo was around to when Naruto becomes hokage for all we know.
The Senju had subjugated many clans, and so did the Uchiha. The Leaf was all of these clans together.
the byakugan are probably distance reltives to the uchiha like how the uzumaki are to the senju
We cant have all guys. I admit it would be a lot better to have all this side explaining arcs but it would enlarge the manga.
The Uchiha,Senju,Hyuuga, and Uzumaki are all related. So that means Naruto, Sasuke,Hinata, and Tsunade are all distant cousins.
I am re-reading naruto the entire series., they just explained the cadet and main branch system of the byakugan but not the hisyory of it., and it's funny coz' it was addressed there that they are the strongest.
maybe those guys are kabutos last resort but was stopped by sasuke and itachi
you're right Kikashi says that in the first series in naruto the fight between neji and hinata xD
Just because he hasnt shown anything yet doesnt mean he wont later on, so it isnt a missed oppertunity until the series is over. And the reason Kishi hasnt shown the Naruto world too in depth at this point is because it would deter too much from whats happening in the story now, it would become unfocused.
The other clans do not matter ! If he did included the other clans historical info then the series would never end.
You got a lot of people who just got into naruto do more in depth history on the clans
we do know that the 1. Hokage beat Madara and I hope that fight gets animated at some point. We could know more about Konoha villige creation by 1. Hokage and then the conflict between Madara and the 1. Hokage...
Yeah true. Kishi focused much more on Akatsuki rather than the hidden clans!! Naruto could have been much better had he included some clans in the storyline. oh well
Actually dude, it was land a fire, land of lightning, land of Earth, land of water, and land of wind
he should make a series after naruto finishes explaining all the mysteries
everything here is true. but just got to say, kishi wanted his manga to be 2 things:
1) a story about a boys life and back ground
2) a novel , short and gets to the point.
kishi didnt anticipate the potential his manga would reach, the build up he not knowingly created for the ninja world was his biggest let down. he didnt mean to, all he wanted to do was just tell the story of NARUTO. of course i love it so far, but maybe if kishi had a different approach it would be VERY different.
and we actually did get to see the 1st tsuchikage in one of the recent chapters it was chapter 575 if im not mistaken
How is it? He has a point.
i never heard about minatos origin either and im agree with you there is a lot of material about ninja clans i mean just look Kimimaros abilities, his power is rare and very interesting and he was the last survivor of his clan, i just want to know more about the other clans and the first kages ,come on kishimoto
In the first part of naruto during the chunin exams, it says that the sharingan descends from the byakugan so how did that happen???
the sage of sixth path also hand a brother and Hyuga clan came from him
Sounds like you wish Kishimoto did some advance world-building for the world of Naruto.I'm sure Kishi didn't care about explaining other villages or clans with depth when he introduced them & now it's too late for him to do anything mostly because he didn't think them in the long run.I'm pretty sure if Kishi knew he was going to do all this eye crap,he probably would have made the Byakugan important or advance on it,which would make the Hyyugas have more importance.
What is the name of that song int he background? I listen to alot of DnB it sounds familiar.
Before i even start watching the video...Tenten...The fact that she doesn't have a last name in a series where your last same defines who you are as a fucking Ninja is terrible.
Actually he's right. The history of other villages would only be important during this war.
