Hi Kevin, my handyman 💓's you! We have a 2006 Kountry Star gas engine we recently purchased. We've been updating the interior & doing all the required maintenance on chassis & engine. You have answered so many questions for issues he's run into thru your Utubes, thank you, thank you for taking the time publishing all the great information you provide.
You are my #1 resource Kevin. I had the problem this morning where my RV wouldn't shift out of park. I tried everything, including getting out and rocking the thing manually front to back. I finally turned off the RV, shifted it into Neutral without it being started. Then I was able to start it in Neutral and get moving. After that, I was able to go in and out of park a few times with no problem. Not sure why it did that. But your video gives me a second option.
On front of fire wall there is a relay labeled BTSI remove this relay that may get you going brake transmission solenoid interlock (BTSI) also this video ruclips.net/video/wTHCSuS9cjw/видео.htmlsi=xVzkKqtlE1edQhIj
Bought a 2006 Tiffin Allegro Bay yesterday. Thanks for this very informative video. I will most definitely be stocking up on these relays before hitting the road.
Great advice and information. Thanks for passing on the knowledge and love for others. I’m dealing with a wiper module issue. Wipers stay on. The multi switch is okay, as well as the wiper motor. However, I can’t locate the fuse (not listed on diagram), which is 2006 Workhorse Tiffin Allegro. Any ideas where to look? I may have to replace the module.
I learned my AutoZone didn't have these relays, but Advanced Auto did. I'll be replacing all of these soon and keeping a couple spares based on your advice in case I or someone I meet on the road needs one. You're a great person and I hope to help others the way you've helped me.
Wow!!! I came across your channel and absolutely love it!! I have a w-22 workhorse chassis. Thank you for going into all the detail and explanations on all your videos. It is much appreciated. Keep up the great work
Thanks for all the valuable resources that you explore for us workhorse chassis owners. But I really think that you should get some quality sleep through all this!! 3 am ?!! Wow
Your videos are gold! Have you ever run into a situation where your brake pedal didn’t want to come all the way back up? When i press the brake pedal the RV stops or slows fine, but then my pedal stays slightly depressed, causing me to have to pull it up slightly with my foot. I checked and greased the linkage. Fluid reservoir is full. Any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated. Thanks for all you do in posting these videos!

Kevin, I'm a big fan of your youtube videos. I have a 2002 Winnebago Itasca on a 8.1 Workhorse. My AC fan only works on the high speed. I googled it, sounds like a common problem, but no solution out there. Any ideas?
So that's under your hood? I've got a 2003 workhorse p42 step van. I saw some fuses under the steering and i don't have a box telling me what's what. Any other way to find that out?
I had my wheel lock up a few times. Would uplugging the BTS1 fix this as well? I also found out about the relays a couple of years ago, when my w22 would not start. Unfortuneatly for me, it was the starter. But changing the relay helped to diagnose it. Thanks again for the vid Kevin!
No relay only a fuse if you are having wiper trouble on a w22 or w24 go to this page print out troubleshooting guide you may need to module and fuse updated www.ultrarvproducts.com/W0007967-Workhorse-W-series-Wiper-Control-Module
More likely the Wiper Control Module you can buy it here but call first to confirm my guess or look at diagnostic info on below part www.ultrarvproducts.com/W0007967-Workhorse-W-series-Wiper-Control-Module
Hey Kevin, 1st off I need to make more money in order to keep fixing up and updating my RV with all your gadgets and additional supplies you are recommending us to get....LOL I love it though!!! Secondly, this is not a topic on this video but do you have a diagram of where all the grease points are for our RV? I’m not sure when the last time the previous owners greased my RV but I want to do it before I leave for my road trip. Please let me know. Thanks man!!
Hey Kevin, I have the same problem on my 2004 WH W-20/22…turn the ignition key and nothing happens; no crank and no panel lights. The battery tested good and I am able to use the house battery boost to get it started (barely). Same problem after driving highway for an hour. I did as you did- swapped the starter relay with another relay like it…same problem Your thoughts?
What was the outcome of this issue? I am currently experiencing the same exact problem, however; I believe it may be the starter solenoid causing this.
@@ktoutdoor Thanks! I have watched this video twice now. Fortunately, I still have the original starter. I am a member of irv2 and found your videos and ORMY’s parts reference page to be most helpful.
2006 Tiffin W24 will not shift out of park. New BTSI solenoid/interlock rod, new brake switch, brake fuse in engine compartment is good. My rig does not shift at all with engine off. Doesn't matter what position ignition key is in, with or without parking brake, etc. it will not shift into neutral. Going to try the relay next. This is getting old. Grr...
Hi Kevin, I’m looking for the drivers window relay location. My Monaco Monarch on W22 has the truckers door and the electric window is not working all the time . Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. The switch looks ok so no I’m trying to find the relay. Any idea?
Would a bad starter relay cause a Eng Comm Fail, Trans Comm Fail error messages to be displayed?? I have the exact same fuse block and I am getting those messages on my dash.
@@ktoutdoor, no need, my problem was I didn't have one of the wiring harnesses that goes up into the dash screwed together. I did that, turned the key and the engine started. All is good!!!
I have a 2007 fleetwood terra workhorse chassis I am getting an error code j1939 No activity any idea which relay that would be can't shift into gear and dash no working properly?
In the car business BTSI is referred to as “bitsy” . Older cars had a cable interface also called BTSI
Man, I’m genuinely so thankful for your content. Thank you for the videos, the thoroughness, etc. You have helped me tremendously.

Yes per my testing unplugging the bts1 relay will cause the shifter solenoid to retract releasing the shift lever.
