What is your favorite place in Jamaica? Are there quiet places that no one knows where you go to meditate on your life, or just chill with nature? Do you love the community and locale? Is there one particular experience this album makes you recall? Sorry for all these questions, you just seem really cool!
Simply amazing. I am a biologist who record animal sounds and I have always wanted to make music with ambient sounds, I had heard some artists make music with bird sounds or things like that, I liked them, but it was not how I wanted to do it (or how I heard it inside my head). A few months ago, in the pursuit of that, I got a professional recorder and a pair of microphones and right in that moment (even before I could make my first ambient recording) I came across this album and ended up speechless (and a little disappointed that someone had already done something like this, although I would never have done something so organic, harmonious and with such dark and fascinating synthesizer sounds). I have listened to this album many times, marveling at the masterful way the percussion blends so harmoniously with the sound of the sea (especially in the first and third song). Truly amazing and inspiring.
You've got your own experience to share with the sounds you hear and feel. Do what you want, not only is every creation different in the end, but the process isn't the same, and how you came to want to make your art is different as well. Hopefully you are enjoyig yourself and really using what makes you feel right. Keep up the great work!

It's a beautiful sunny day outside, and there's a soft breeze that tickles the skin...I've never thought I would crave going outside this much, to the mountains, to the beach, anywhere with a lot of trees, with an open sky and grass under my shoes... But this music makes it a lot easier. I can dream I'm near the ocean. Thank youso much for uploading this sweet album.

I'm from the Caribbean and I'm listening to this at night. The distinctive "tweeting" sound at the end is actually a frog that chirps?/croaks? at night. Anyway, I noticed the sound was getting louder and thought " I hope a frog 🐸 has not gotten inside " but I paused the video and realised it was the music and all the frog noises outside are a little further away. 😅

A series of New Age/kankyō ongaku albums by Takashi Kokubo, designed primarily as soundscapes for office workers and, in one case, a sound installation. The first five volumes, released in 1992, were surtitled "都市生活者へおくる音風景" (Toshi seikatsu-sha e okuru oto fūkei, "Sound landscape for city residents".) The final five were released in 1993. All ten were reissued on June 21, 1996 as "Message from Oasis." i wish this was my work space music. it would be way more chill and productive.
Every now and then the mind needs something to calm it down; to drown out the noise of its own incessant chatter. This album, turned down low, is one of those moments, those instrumentalities to soothe the squawk, the chatter box. It is, to some degree, a construct and an aleatory at the same time. With the occasional accompanying beat, the ambient fluidity of the production will quickly put any mind to rest. Allow things to just be during the experience of this album and you will find yourself in a space that effortlessley enables your subconscious mind to drift without focus. Peace, love and tranquility. Everything else is but the noise of a construct created by a species that has yet to recognize its true, higher purpose.

If You're Looking For A Moment...
...at your own pace...
You open your eyes.
The earth has shrunk to the size of the smallest planet you've ever stood on.
The beach stretches out beyond you and curves over the horizon but an arrows arc away.
The waves sonically playful.
As you walk, each few steps repeat into a loop that restarts with a hardly discernible glitch.
Whatever beach you're on lets you keep walking, but never lets you get closer. A paradisiacal treadmill.
As you wonder where and what you're trying to walk towards, and when the loop has blended into a rhythmic stroll, the slightest of variations shyly start to peak at you.
At first they are but a dodging double take.
Did I blink?
Was that an eye in the sky?
As you look around in a slew of double takes, you acceptingly notice that there are all kinds of things blending in and out of each other and appearing and disappearing over the almost huggable horizon.
Time slows.
A wave recedes.
It morphs into a dolphin.
It takes off out of the water, feathers growing, and soars next to you.
You marvel at it. It marvels back.
Notice as it's joined by a whole flock of feathered sea creatures.
Color wheels of fish fly by flapping their feathered flippers.
Smacks of jelly fish with down feathers fluff with weightlessness.
Giant manta rays. Their wingspans wrap over the horizon.
As you walk with them, a loss of gravity's force on your feet comes to notice.
Your head lowers, eyes looking down through a blink, watching as each step you take brings the sandy ground up with you. The beach bends and moves up and down to stay connected to the soles of your feet. Walking starts to feel effortless as you start to become a strange floating gyroscope, extending into the beach.
Senses of ups and downs start to loosen as your whole huggable world starts to float through a space devoid of any gravity.
Step after gyroscopic, weightless step.
Where have all the creatures gone?
The sun keeps setting, but it becomes difficult to discern where.
Where doesn't matter.
The last rays of the setting sun.
A lazy dizziness.
Both embrace you warmly.
Your eyes focus on the tiny rainbows refracting off your eyelashes.
You start to close your eyes...
Your foot steps on an air bladder of some beached kelp.
It pops.
You stop walking.
Your eyes retract their idea of closing, drawn to the pop.
There is a sand dollar next to the popped seaweed balloon.
As you reach down to pick it up, a breeze lifts it up. As your eyes follow, it floats away over the horizon.
The aperture of your eyes shifts focus outwards.
You stand still.
The waves lap at your toes as you have a breath.
You've been here the whole time.
It's been here the whole time.
Here it is.
The Moment.
