I...I don't know what to say. I turned my back on my gorgeous hunk of penguin a long time ago. People told me "He's not viable." "You'll never be able to enjoy playing with him" "Dedede; WTF man?" And then I realized. I realized that feeling of rage, of trolling my opponent. I remembered who I was. I AM A DEDEDE MAIN AND I DON'T CARE.

One thing I really love about this Tutorial is that it's a lot more Goofy than your usual serious informative tone, but you presented it so well that I found myself laughing Everytime you slipped a joke in there & I also REALLY like how you never dragged not one joke on for too long. Every joke was funny & never overstayed its welcome, & as soon as the joke was over you went straight back to amazing me with a character I really didn't think was capable of all this stuff. You never cease to gain my respect Izaw.

This man izaw is literally my idol in smash 4. He doesn't just speak from an average gamer's perspective. He knows how to incorporate the real world and the lessons that you can learn in it in his tutorials and in his style of fighting. He also mains my main(Link), and has always inspired me to better myself in smash and defeat anyone who comes my way(even though I don't). I appreciate everything you've done for your fellow Sm4shers out there, and for me. Keep doing what you're doing, and you will always have my respect.

Ok ok ok...so. To start off, i am obviously a HUGE fan of you Izaw. Watched every art of video, every training session. only thing i haven't watched are the game analysis videos, which i am working on lol. As I said previously, i keep coming back to this video cuz i freaking love it. But i kind of feel bad that as much as I love this channel and want to support it as much as possible, i don't have the money to support you on patreon, otherwise i would have donated and would have had an hour training session lol. But, yeah I suscribed like, b4 the art of bowser i think. Around that time. I've recently been putting comments and such, and, even if the video doesn't interest me too much, i still made sure to view and/or almost every one video because it helps your channel. But, since i can't give any money to support the channel, i want to be able to support with my comments, so rather than saying how hilarious the video was (hats off to you good sir), I noticed that each art of video was better than the last, or even in quality. Which is good! Improvement is never bad, but other videos, such as Art of Samus, Cloud, Corrin, Falco, don't have as much depth to them as say Art of Toon Link, Ganon, Dedede, Mario, Bowser, Marth/Lucina, etc.. Do you plan on redoing those videos after all of the characters are done? (saying this partially cuz i don't want the series to end anytime soon lol)

Something people don't notice for some reason is that you can catch Gordo again after having used it and throw it again. It's a similar thing to Bowser Jr.'s "terrible" recovery. If you air dodge after getting hit outside of the clown car, your clown car comes back and you can recover again

This video made me want to try Dedede, I've honestly tried most of the characters and always been kinda good with them a few wins here and a few loses there, once I started using Dedede it felt just natural, like he was made for me, is incredibly how good it feels to win with Dedede and I became really good with it, now almost no one wins against me on my job's gameroom when using him. I know that's not much since we are all casuals but it feels good to be a big fish on a small pond.

A comprehensive guide would be much appreciated, as I feel Yoshi is perhaps the most untapped resource in Smash 4 right now. Strange enough, a few days ago I was playing with my cousins competitively in Smash 4. I went with DDD as a joke, but after a few rounds, I liked his playstyle more than Villy and Mario.
He's my new and forever main on Smash 4/Ultimate.

Hey IzAw, great video! This is really useful for me to improve my Dedede, but there are a few things that I want to point out.This is just extra information and slight corrections: - First, there is the comment that you and the other fellow Dedede mains' do not think that the Down-B will break shields. From my experiences, this is untrue. You can break the shield with a fully-charged Down-B, but you must do it with the very tip instead of the base of the mallet and have rage to double-ensure it. This is my only correction. - Now the fun stuff! :D When you grab your opponent at 0%, you can combo any character with a Down throw to a sweet spot N-air (It's better than F-air when pulling off combos imo) . - The last one is big! My final bit of extra DeDeDisgusting info relates back to that Down throw -> N-air combo. At around 0-10%, Dedede can Down throw -> N-air (sweet spot)/ F-air (only for floaties) -> Footstool -> Fastfall -> N-air (sour spot) -> Jump -> Footstool -> Fastfall -> N-air (sour spot)... etc., etc.When the opponent reaches about 67-90%, you can Fastfall U-air -> Down throw -> U-air to finish off the combo. This combo is nuts because you can easily deal over 100% on the heaviest characters! You will have to very precise in this combo, but once you finish this combo, you can just U-air once or edge guard them to get the kill. If the opponent DI's over to the edge during this combo, you can easily spike them with the D-air to get the kill. This combo works on most of the cast, with the exceptions being Jiggs, Mew2, Game & Watch, and Fastfallers. Thankfully, you can start using this combo on all fastfallers after 30% and they will get punished even harder, and some fastfallers will even reach near 120%! I hope everyone will learn something from this! Anyways, fantastic job and I can't wait for the next "Art of" video! :D
