Hi, friends! It's been a minute. I feel like I'm a mess and all over the place, but things are coming together. The reason why the bedroom decor is feeling off is because it's too beige, one dimensional, & not enough texture.
Tip #1: Double up on duvet insert to give it that fluffy hotel look.
Tip #2: Venture into accent pillow cover colours (preferably one which compliments the headboard colour + white sheets + curtains).
Tip #3: Pillow inserts should be bigger by 1-2 inch than the covers to give it that nice karate chop look you’re looking for. (made the mistake myself when I bought same size pillows & covers + the pillows weren't feather).
Tip #4 Add texture to your bedding. Maybe the use of a coverlet or textured throw & pillow covers.
I did all the above and transformed my bedroom and couldn't believe my eyes.

You need touches of sage green, it’ll tie to your plant on the corner also some wall art and oh! Add some long vertical mirrors above your nightstands and put lamps in front to add warm light in the evenings and the mirrors make the space feel bigger/airy and reflects the light more in the evenings.
The apartment is an amazing canvas to style. So far, it’s coming together. Cheers!!! 🫶🏾

Add green accent pillows to your bed. Bring in colour from the olive (?) tree.

A body length lumbar pillow with all of the colors plus another punch of color will bring it all together and cut up some of the blandness and being more dimension without getting too busy
Welcome back, we missed you as usual but completely get your need for time off ❣️great progress in the flat! Some colors on your begging to offset the white will bring it all together, I do accent of blue or teal in different textures and it uplifts my all white and wood background
Once you get your rug, it’ll help marry the pillows with your bedding ❤ try a rug with olive and beige, still offering a soft, grounded aesthetic but with some addition of color ✨

Hi Alexis new follower here. Love your content! Adrienne Bailon has a similar aesthetic as yours that can possibly give you some ideas from her home tour ie. different size pillows of the same color on the bed. Here home is white/cream base in almost every room.

Lately I watch these nyc moving videos and everyone goes beige/white…. I mean I like the colors and I get that people like to go “neutral” these days… but it’s like mental asylum neutral. Like sterile. For me anyway… if it makes you happy of course go even transparent, no one’s business… sorry to be a b😝tch.
