Yes, turning off the freezer engine makes a BIG difference in audio quality. All I hear is crunching and nothing else. I would call this a premium ASMR experience.
Yes it does. I’ve tried noise cancelling app before but it didn’t sound good and it was too complicated for me to do audio editing. I’m willing to learn but too much 😂

But now listening again in the middle of the night on my headphones, I hear the sound change perfectly! It's funny how it honestly didn’t strike me as distracting at all until it was gone, and I realized how much its presence, or lack thereof, really amplified the sound of the crunches. It's those little touches that make you adept at asmr. I'm sure when you listen to other people, it probably doesn't bother you as much, but you definitely set a standard for yourself and I respect that. 1:27 Oh how I wish I did! Our (my boyfriend and I) apartment is too small for such luxuries. However, we're still looking for a larger place, and one of our biggest priorities, is a larger kitchen! Every new listing is a potential spot for the mini freezer I intend to have because as it is, my freezer can barely handle my frozen blender, several ice trays and molds, and a bag of Chick-fil-A pellet ice we keep all the time on stock. My kitchen counter can't even fit multiple appliances either, so my poor nugget ice maker my mom bought me many years ago now, is just collecting dust. 1:45 I'm long overdue to make a tiktok of my love of eating ice, just for fun, but I still love being an observer at this point. Anyone who knows me offline, has had the misfortune of hearing me chew ice; loudly at that! On the phone, on the microphone while gaming and in person at my home or at a restaurant, which wasn't always received well, but it's kinda one of those, "that's her" kinda thing. 🤷🏻♀️ So really, only my friends online who love ice, would probably be the *only ones* that may be amused! 🤣 8:23 I was thinking you were grabbing it to feel if the texture was something that was to your liking and that maybe only parts of it were, so you tested it 8:33 then put it back 8:36 then ate the parts that crumbled off of it 8:47 then decided, eh maybe I can eat some of the softer, less hard as a rock parts! I also thought maybe you were starting to feel full, and contemplated not eating the whole chunk, but then decided you could and that's why it ends with you finishing the chunk in parts. I'm an over thinker though, so if I'm way off base, can I still be bestie material right? 🤭

The reason I put the chunk in freezer was because my plate was wet with melted frost and didn’t want it to get wet but that’s a good guess😊 You need big kitchen or the kitchen where we can put things. I always end up having very busy looking kitchen and have to move things around to have space while I’m cooking. That was a mistake in many ways, because I was basically giving someone the freedom to edit me as they saw fit, and well, let's just say sometimes it was fascinating to see myself through someone else's lens (literally) and other times, well, not so much! 🫣 I realized though, that editing was something I was going to *have* to learn if I ever wanted to jump on that horse again; with or without someone! Whether I chose to use my voice or not, I think I'm better equipped at conveying what I want to be seen or heard from me, than someone with well, let's just call it, "creative differences" since we're still amicable with one another. 😏 It's a huge compliment from you if you actually believe I would be good at creating content! 😅 I have all the right equipment, I just need to teach myself to edit, which is why I thought tiktok would be good practice!

Here's a tip.....blend crushed ice or powdery ice and store in your regular freezer in a sealed Glad container or Glad storage bag. You will have a freezer taste without food contamination.
