Guys that was a great dig, im watching from Australia & tip like that is getting harder to find over here, you guys are just so lucky to have so much history. I would pull my back teeth to dig on tip like that again. Love the channel guys, keep the vids comin.
Nice calm and relaxing dig. Very lay back. Unless your called Eathan filling a wheelbarrow full of mud haha. I’m posting my bottle digging attempt this Friday. If ya got time to watch it. Promise not to laugh to hard 😂😂
@@LancashireLarks mate your doing great, there’s a well known geordie digger who took about 2 years to dig his first codd, we all had a giggle at him, he he SAM WILSON😂😂😂
How do you go about getting permission to dig? I know where there is a bottle dump at the back of what used to be a Victorian cottage hospital. Only problem is I don't know who if anyone the land belongs to?
It’s best to try and find the land owner, a lot of diggers would just go on and have a dig if the land is overgrown or derelict, not recommended if it’s a nice field some farmers are nutters, in fact there nearly all nutters.😂👍
I found your channel today and Sub'd, you have some really great finds! I have a question someone may be able to answer for me. These bottles that are shaped like an American football (don't know what else to compare it to😊) does anyone know what they were used for, and how in the world were they displayed? Is there a flat bottom I'm just not seeing that allows it to stand upright? I feel kind of stupid for asking, but I have seen these in other "glass bottle archeology digs" but never asked.
They are called Hamiltons, hammies, torpedoes, and probably have a few more names through out the world, but where to be layed on there side, which would keep the cork wet and expanded that stoped it from shrinking, a silly designed bottle really, thanks for subscribing.👍

Yes.
