He says it takes 20 good people to counteract one toxic person. And he says that rule will always stay the same. Wow
I remember Les Brown said for one negative affirmation someone tells you 100 positive affirmation have to counteract it
Wow that’s what we are facing in the US with these anti-science people.

I love JA! He’s gonna earn me a whole bunch of money 💰real soon.
He just always makes me both laugh and learn a lot.
Great talk! Somehow I imagined the window blinds at Google would be a bit nicer though.
I love James Altucher. His philosophies has helped to revolutionize my life. It's pretty amazing that all of the hate follows him. He's been open. He's been vulnerable, and what he shares--HELPS. James, if you read these, please know that you have a lot of people that appreciate you and what you do.
With a name like "chip" who would believe you were anything other than a con :))))) Fucking cons... worst kind of people.
@Shane Hurren that is the most schizophrenic blog I’ve ever seen
"Pain + Reflection = Progress"
Man, why so much hate on college? Should be panning private (and even some public) institutes that charge up the wazoo. College provides such a great atmosphere to be around people who also want to learn and live their life exploring multiple things at a very young age.
James Altucher almost looks like Howard Stern
Inspiring interview. He's a very down to earth guy.
Wow, I've been really active against college(yes ive been to college and I was honor roll) and I did NOT expect to hear a successful man agree with me, especially after years of my family trashing me for my decision to pursue business and technology instead.
In my experience, I did not learn a single thing from college that I hadnt already taught myself or couldn't have self taught.
Universities will be strictly research within the next few decades. Education is becoming so available and automatic, we need to spend time teaching people HOW to learn and not WHAT to learn
Tldr; HOW to learn and not WHAT to learn
happy to have stumbled upon this interview/person
This is a great talk! Thank you so much, Google!!
Very hateful comments here. I'm not that big of the "help-yourself" genre in general, but if someone can get this much negative attention, then I think they are probably on a good track.
Very wise words and thoughts. I like him very much. He is very open and vulnerable. His ideas of improving yourself is great and most important.
The very fact that this guy is self made millionaire more than once is key here, the message is to stay positive, he keeps an open mind and continues learning.
So all you people being negative trolls, think about it, thats why your losers now, come on this is simple stuff.
If you get the chance, watch his videos, highly interesting and inspirational :-)
Why is the volume so low in many of these videos? :(
What do you mean his hair is almost hitting the ceiling
Crack. Nuevo ídolo desbloqueado
1:13.50 he’s such a legend 😂🙏
I like his idea about ideas.
History Hyenas brought me here. James is screwed in. Very brilliant individual.

His approach to his daughter choosing a career is perfect. Shame she didn’t realize the value but hopefully she figures it out
❤❤❤
Took so many valuable insights from this, but the best was his last answer to the Q&A.

Love his podcasts - great interviews.
Some of the best ideas ive heard lately have come from this guy. But lots of troll hate going on here.

James Altucher is awesome! Choose yourself is a great book and he has made some really good podcast episodes. Keep up the good work. Thanks James.
I'd bet good money you're james or one of his POS lackeys.

If James weren't so likeable, I'm not sure he'd be as much a success. Anyone can see that he is a genius, though. He's got the perfect combination of chutzpah and likeability, both most likely being born out of shyness, as he has mentioned or occasion.
Google fanboy
Can barely hear it.
Pretty much sums up Google. They can't seem to get anything right.
there's no way this guy isn't a compulsive liar.
Also penny stock affiliate
Man, one thing I look for in phones is very loud speakers. I'm glad of that because I'm listening to this on full volume in front of my face with no ambient sound besides a space heater.
I like the talk Google. I hope you turn up the volume on future videos.
"Google is the source."
He's got such a Larry David vibe to him!
He prayed to Jesus.
