- 「圓仔」飽飽的吃完早餐ㄋㄟㄋㄟ休息一段時間後，保育員小心翼翼的將牠帶出保溫箱，準備前往媽媽「圓圓」的欄舍，與媽媽面對面；「圓圓」彷彿感受到今天的氣氛不一樣，看到保育員進來便在欄邊徘徊。保育員先拿出沾有「圓仔」氣味的小被被讓「圓圓」聞一聞熟悉味道，接著將「圓仔」抱出來，此刻「圓圓」立即靠近欄邊坐下，並伸出四肢巴著欄杆，而後又焦慮的走來走去。保育員決定讓「圓仔」與「圓圓」更近距離的接觸，於是將牠抱起靠近格網邊與「圓圓」面對面，此時「圓仔」彷彿知道媽媽就在面前，雖然眼睛還未睜開卻突然開始哇哇大叫，聽到了「圓仔」哇叫聲，「圓圓」也邊扒著鐵欄杆邊低鳴吼叫，不時伸出溫柔的舌頭舔拭「圓仔」;在場的保育員說「從來沒有聽圓圓這樣叫過！」。
看到「圓圓」如此有愛心、溫柔卻又急切呼喚女兒的模樣，在場的所有人都非常不捨，但心中的大石頭也放下了一半；「圓仔」投入「圓圓」的懷抱，又向前跨了一步。與媽媽接觸一段時間後，保育員準備將「圓仔」帶回保溫箱，為安撫「圓圓」情緒，於是拿來了布偶「仿仔」，「圓圓」一看到仿仔便立刻衝過去將它叼起擁入懷中舔拭，但過沒多久便將它丟在一旁，靠過來欄邊望著裝盛「圓仔」的空箱子。
為了漸進的釋放與適應，避免母女相逢的暴衝與急切，再次弄傷了小「圓仔」，保育人員小心翼翼的操作每一個流程，務必讓「圓仔」回到「圓圓」的懷抱順利平安，相信再經過幾次的觀察與謹慎的評估後，「圓仔」就快要回到媽媽的身邊了！
In order to make sure Yuan Yuan having the positive reaction to her baby, the zoo keepers arranged the baby to meet her mother on August 6, 2013. By the keepers' observation, Yuan Yuan and her baby have good reactions. Taipei Zoo workers believe it is almost about time for their reunion.
看到圓圓望著圓仔，發出從未有的激動與低鳴，我眼眶紅了！
之前一堆人說圓圓傻，抱著仿仔，卻不知道這是布娃娃不是女兒，
今天看到新聞說了這麼一段：
＂保育員準備將「圓仔」帶回保溫箱，為安撫「圓圓」情緒，於是拿來了布偶「仿仔」，「圓圓」一看到仿仔便立刻衝過去將它叼起擁入懷中舔拭，但過沒多久便將它丟在一 旁，靠過來欄邊望著裝盛「圓仔」的空箱子。＂
其實，圓圓一直都知道自己抱的是一只布娃娃，
又親又舔又懷抱的，
是因為這有女兒的氣味！
靠著這樣抒解母愛的相思之苦啊>.
因為圓仔，我看了各國的熊貓報導 ，如美國Atlantic Zoo熊貓雙胞胎也剛滿月，科學家非常小心照顧小熊貓(即使母熊貓已生數胎)。 小熊貓出生後真的要小心，華盛頓動物園去年出生六天的小熊貓由母熊照顧就死了。 我們要給台北ZOO保育員加油! 小心與專業至上！ 當然也非常期待能快看到大小圓團聚的一天！

The sounds the mama panda makes rips me to shreds. 😭😭😭 I understand why they separated them and that they have to keep them separate for a while for the cub’s own safety, but it still rips me.

Better prepared to live with her baby.
This is so touching. Yuanzai is so excited to be close to her Mommy while Mommy tries to soothe her and gave her a loving lick. Nothing like a mother's love. I can't wait to see baby and mother reunited. I am sure Yuan Yuan is going to be a loving mother just by observing her practise with the panda doll. Thanks for sharing.
另外，我覺得，還是《圓仔》這個名字最好！一是最有台味，二是非常能打動人心，再之就是讓人將來只要看見了圓仔就會想起圓圓媽媽，即使將來圓圓去了天國，人間的人們還是會因為看見了圓仔而時刻迴憶起她。總之，《圓仔》這個名字最好！更因為這是最辛苦的保育叔叔、阿姨們給起的喔！

They said that at the time when baby was born, YuanYuan accidently scatched one of the baby's rear leg. They also concerned YuanYuan could not know how to take care baby since she is the first time mothr. So they took baby away from YuanYuan since the first day the baby was born.

Thank you very much, for your explanation! I didn't know, that the baby was injured, as I can't read chinese. Its good, that the vets from Bifengxia ( Wolong) are there to help, they are all wonderful! I'm happy now and will continue watching Yuan Yuan and her daughter. Also Tuan Tuan with his toy baby, that is really funny! Rita :D :))
