AEDIB|NET - What is a Digital Innovation Hub?

Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) are regional digital transformation and innovation accelerators,
incorporated as consortia of entities, which under a public benefit purpose, set up and foster activitiesand initiatives in collaboration with local digital players and innovation actors. They provide services to local companies, mainly Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the areas of:
(1) access to testing andexperimentation facilities
(2) training and digital skills development
(3) ecosystem building andnetworking, and
(4) financing services.
Through the service delivery, DIHs support the companies , intheir competitiveness, growth and the employment opportunities, as well as supporting the population’s access to digital technologies. and the provision of better public administration services for its citizens. Africa’s digital evolution is booming and it is the place to invest and foster the future Digital Innovation Hubs.
