Is the cheese on the plate supposed to be raclette? I would be so mad if I only got this. I understand Benny's rage it never really crossed my mind to ever visit Geneva. Congrats Katie though, finding a way to spend a good day in a not so exciting place is an achievement in itself which shall be rewarded!
Also I think you mixed up guinguette and pétanque! Pétanque is the metal balls game, very popular in the south of France. Guinguette is a seasonal outdoors restaurant, kind of like a beergarten but it's only open for 3/4 months of the year on sunny days :)

That makes sense about La Guingette! We thought it was maybe a regional name for Pétanque since it seemed to be the same game but clearly something got lost in translation haha!
