Thank you for this. I have sailed this area many times, but never entered the Merrimack. It is known as one of the most dangerous inlets in the US.

Its not so bad when you get used to it had boats at cove marina you just dont want to end up in the river.

Been through it a ton of times growing up with my stepdad as captain of our 12 foot motorboat. I still remember the anxious feelings on some of its worst days...😮
