DARK PHOENIX (Original 1st Trailer, Recreated)
In September 2018, before the release of the official trailer, the KinExpo (held in Saint Petersburg) presented a first trailer for DARK PHOENIX.
This trailer featured scenes from the first cut of the film, as there were no reshoots yet. Among these scenes, we find fragments of the 3rd act that would take place in the United Nations. End of the movie we still want to see.
This video tries to recreate this trailer almost in its entirety and with English language.
There are some scenes that could not be recreated because they are completely unreleased scenes (Jean removing Scott's visor, Jean's Childhood, Attack on the United Nations, Jean's final shot in previous version, among others)

En Septiembre de 2018, antes del lanzamiento del tráiler oficial, la KinExpo (Celebrada en Saint Petersburg) presentó un primer tráiler para DARK PHOENIX.
Este tráiler presentaba escenas del primer corte de la película, ya que aún no se realizaban reshoots. Entre estas escenas, encontramos fragmentos del 3er acto que se desarrollaría en las Naciones Unidas. Y que aún no logramos ver.
Este video intenta recrear este tráiler casi en su totalidad y con idioma inglés.
Hay algunas escenas que no lograron recrearse debido a que son escenas completamente inéditas (Jean quitando el visor a Scott, Infancia de Jean, Ataque a las Naciones Unidas, Toma final de Jean en versión previa, entre otras)

The film went through a complicated production due to the merge of 20th Century Fox and Disney and as a consequence, the original plan of a two-films version (confirmed by Simon Kinberg, Chris Claremont and Josh Boone) had to be massively reduced to one film. The ideas that Simon Kinberg initially had, were discarded and hardly compacted. Losing key elements of the comics and also making it complex to depict in a single installment. Originally the two films would be shot consecutively, therefore two major sets were built first (the New York set for The Part One and the United Nations scenario for The Part Two).
so true. now as die hard X-Men fans who read comics long before films even in theatical cut kinberg took a lot from jean/phoenix story with becaus eof forced to do it as one film had to use skrulls in place of both hellfire club and shi'iar and even then was forced to replace them with d'bari.we so need to see original cut.
That hack of feige messed with the movie
Hellfire club was supposed to make a comeback. Saw the concept art of their lair and the members. Emma Frost was among them, with January Jones supposedly reprising. Would have been the epic show down between her and Xavier. It’s so painful knowing what it could have been.
And the fact that the Original 3rd Act was completly cut out is a crime against humanity. Jean Gray sacrificing herself to save the earth and her family from the Skrulls invasion, was a way more emotional ending.
I want to see the 1st cut so badly

There are some shots/scenes that are completely new, never seen before!
2) Scott and Charles in Cerebro [2 images, it had dialogues as shown in the trailers]
3) Scott and Charles in Cerebro (different clothes, a new scene).
4) Jean in her red suit revisits her home (new scene).
DARK PHOENIX DIRECTOR'S CUT
What if we started a crowdfunding effort to get Simon Kinberg the funds to do it himself like Zack Snyder did?! Disney certainly won’t release any prior X-Men footage, so there’s no way we can hope for any feature release. But if Kinberg had the funds himself, he could pay to have the shots finished and edited back into the original film and put it together the way it was intended. And he could do this independent of Disney.
It would have to be millions of dollars though. But there are at least 500,000 fans who want this to happen, and we all donate $20, that $10 million!
That union of forces between fans would be something worthy and wonderful to see. I would be curious to know if Simon would agree to do so. If only we had a hint, it would be extraordinary. Thank you very much for your comments on the videos, they are very valuable! Stay tuned for future details.
@@DarkPhoenix_UN-Cut poor guy has been considered a failure by many fans of the comic book movie genre. They forget his genius work in the successful movies they loved, and they blame him for factors that weren’t in his control. I hope he knows how appreciated he is by so many of us.
@@bradleyrichard He knows of our support. At an online event in May 2020, he stated that he was aware of the fan movements and that he appreciated the support. And he has given very subtle answers on our Instagram profile. You can check in one of our latest posts, his last reply was a few days ago and just about X-Men in general and Dark Phoenix. He doesn't deserve the hate they have given him and it is our purpose to continue giving visibility to the support we provide as a community.

@@phoenixfire5998 You can visit our Instagram account, in the last X-Men Day post yesterday we discussed it. We sent some messages that Simon answered, and between them we talked about the end of the United Nations. That last message only reacted with a heart, but it is more than clear that he knows of our wish. He has already expressed it before. The point here is that as fans we must create strong goals and gather ever-increasing numbers of fans. And someday... Maybe we'll make it.
@@DarkPhoenix_UN-Cut he’s already said he will never release the version that was shown in test screenings. He acknowledged that the movement word for the Snyder Cut of DC, but he was happy with the finished product and won’t release the original cut
@@darkphoenx3930 The May 2020 comment was actually a question we asked him via IGN, and we know what you mean. But he actually said that there would be no "Kinberg Cut", because in effect the theatrical version is his final vision, but at the same time he confirmed that there is unseen footage somewhere. And he never said this would never be released, he didn't refer to the version of the test screenings. Last May 13 we sent a message via Instagram and he saw it and reacted, and it was about the end of the United Nations. We will not lose hope and will continue as far as possible.

It's definitely a version of The Doors or something else, using the vocals from "The End". But I have never been able to find the original song. This was the best possible result to work with.
