Thanks, although your accent is a little thick and hard to understand at times (no offense), what you showed me, made perfect sense and I was able to successfully install the light switch. Thanks again!
My neutral wire is showing power on the non contact voltage detector, is that normal? I have a bunch of white wires and black wires at the back of the junction box tied into wirenuts When I connected everything the switch wasn't getting power, then when I switched the load and line, I got power to the switch but it wasn't operating the light. I was also seeing fluctuating power on the other light in the junction box, meaning when the light was turned on the light was pulsating.
Neutral wire should not have any current (maybe in your case the neutral wire is acting as a load wire) would advise to get it installed by a licensed electrician as it looks like you have complicated wiring.
No, the one I used is only a single pole switch. You will need to buy a 3 way switch www.amazon.ca/Kasa-Smart-TP-Link-KS230-KIT/dp/B0BC2MWTR9/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=34IGOW6PHZVSB&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.2Mgf2_Ic54bTEPKuK7VuBWg7EaKTQA0dyEfJg24PpU8qm25Wuh2Lmqi-xhVIW-L-Pxw9i94_IVlrGmUj_qCAqgtrjt1-Ywd7mdO9atuogM_UtPYRj2Uz8sx2pRjW9LxP5l-Lh1zq9UHS798z1Csnm2tXqxd_5AuLgi5wpICEACur3_GIcHVRzRzrAYnBAbAy1FdJ8097ldBISS5P6-VT1cOw4GSpYmjpNePON4wONa1UtreEuyeiKMCSeL1uQB04j-wqnEEkzxkA0DVqiixZEr7bthpJ-4z8gfLDrk38M1w.zyuaoEc-koB1z5-NOop_OJKmO80JGZMSElOGjTpQ_uo&dib_tag=se&keywords=kasa+3+way+dimmer+switch&qid=1714007855&sprefix=kasa+3+wa%2Caps%2C166&sr=8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1
Apologies, don't have a video. But once you have installed the switches and configured in Kasa app with your home wi-fi. You can open the Alexa app and in the skills and game option, search for Kasa and enable the skill. Once you have enabled, click on the add device in the Alexa app and it will automatically detect the device. All the Best!!
Unfortunately the Kasa switches are wi-fi only switches. There are other smart switches that can be connected to the hub. Any particular reason you don't want to connect to the wi-fi?
@@take_two_vlogs The design and price are the first things I like about Kasa dimming switches. I am considering changing my entire house's switches (15-20) and want to run smoother and more consistently. Connecting all these devices to wifi will clog my wifi, and every time I change my password, I have to reset every switch and connect again. Also, I like to keep them local rather than on the cloud. I wish there's a similar hard wire switch that looks like a traditional switch that works with HUE hub.
Its pretty straightforward. Since this was a 3 gang box, the face plate and the inner plate which came with the switch didn't work, I bought a snap on cover plate from Home Depot.
Thank you! Your video helped me with my install!
Great to hear!

Great, will try to speak slowly next time.
Their switch is much larger than others on the market, can you recommend a double cover for Kasa switch?
Kasa does not send a double gang switch face plate but you can get snap on 2 gang face plates from Home Depot or Amazon.

Can i use same switch for a 3 way connection

do you have a video of installing switch with the phone app, so my Alexa will turn lights on/off?

I wouldn't say I like to connect to wifi directly. Is there any HUB or bridge that supports these switches?

The video didn't show the hardest part: putting the Kasa plate on, which is problematic.
