The best part of the plot is Cid genuinely doesn't believe any of the inexcusable bs he or others spout even when the universe itself is doing all it can to convince him otherwise lmao
I would've loved to see it played straight, especially since his obliviousness caused some unnecessary foe infiltrations. He could've also used the princess' group as his unwitting allies to boost school defence.
The truck scene in the manga is easily one the best, cause the dude was running headfirst onto it thinking it'd give him magic powers he's looking for, which ironically did in hindsight
I'm pretty sure he knew it was a truck. And seeing as how he is self-aware about tropes, he expected the truck(a common trope) to Isekai himself, which it did. He essentially intentionally "Alt+F4" using Truck-kun to transport himself into a new world.
The fact that they rolled credits as soon as Kageno got Isekai'd by Truck-Kun *despite there being 7 minutes left in the first episode* just tells the viewer that the entire show is gonna troll you

I think what makes this anime addictive is the fact that it does a pretty good job of matching its cringe level with its self-awareness. Assuming this is a parody anime, this fact makes sure that you don't forget we're just here to make fun of the genre. In my experience, the average isekai either tryhards so much that it's too cringe to appreciate for what it is (and frankly, after all the effort that went into the tryharding, there's not much left to appreciate anyway) or doesn't have the ambition to earnestly play with its tropes in an enjoyable way. The Eminence in Shadow, meanwhile, is perfectly happy to lean into the tropes, but it makes it clear that it's not taking it very seriously and doesn't overembellish so much that it stops being funny.
Cid's demeanor single handedly carries the show. He's a cocky bastard, because he KNOWS he's an overpowered Isekai protagonist, and he wants to have fun with it.
I came at it with full expectation of being another isekai but found myself liking it's "we know its another shitty isekai but we'll have fun with it" attitude
Yeah this one gonna make a huge new wave of "self aware" isekai since its becoming popular interm of the genre and i don't know how to feel cuz on the other hand we definitely gonna have more season and hopefully full adaptatuon of this series but there's gonna be butt load of crash gabbing studio who gonna jump on the trend and make the isekai genre more trash and Going to make the good one much harder to find in the future :(
@@ShadowAraun self aware in term of the world : story, character, events all comes from the author self aware of the isekei genre and it envolves the MC as the catalyst. With konosuba the self aware only comes from Kazuya himself, the world already has established story, character and events and Kazuya lives in it. Its hard to explain but there's a yt video on explain what makes emince in shadow self awereness trope so good but i already forgot who Made the vid
Scamboli definitely the kind of fella to not stream his screen for the Discord group chat because he doesn't want the boys to see the wallpaper he's kept for 8 years but keeps forgetting to change.
I wish it was good but the Mc being unaware of the actual vlians and his hence woman being aware and taking it seriously. Really pisses me off. He just goes with it. Role playing. It's so dumb.
I think my only disappointment from the anime is how they made his normal life self look, because in the manga the gag of him trying to be this top tier spy, is that he was absolutely massive and shredded due to all the training He was doing, so you have this guy who’s obsessed with being a gray man and super subtle and in the background being literally the most ripped in your face massive being in the room
Ironically, being small also made him "normal" so people wouldn't gawk at him from being different from other, just like a normal Japanese highschooler who does go to school everyday 🤣 The animators not being lazy, they're actually being cheeky by making us keep comparing the light novel and the manga all the time 🤣
@@fazadhikarizqkoswara9429 except, in the LN he was still also quite jacked and swole (not to the degree the manga showed, but he was still a walking chad)
When I first watched it, I thought it's different from the manga. The chad Cid really is funny to begin with like how he thought he was "hiding" that he's strong but look like a massive muscle man and the hot spring scene before he reincarnated. I'm scared about what they're gonna do with the Mobfu part.
@@nguyenquoctoan6354 Excuse me, but are you blind? He looked way more chadly in the LN depiction of him, unlike the generic ass he looked like in the anime adaptation.
I 100% recommend the manga. It's actually way more comedic. In the manga he tries to hide how strong he is in the real world, but because phisis don't allow him to have a tiny body and be strong, he straight up look's like a body builder. Twice the size of everyone in his class, immediately making him stand out. Also, the manga empahsizes more how he completely made up the "Cult of Diablo" story, and how he has no idea who any of the girls besides Alpha is.
I prefer the manga right now as well. I think the best moments are those tiny boxes with a reminder that cid is our protagonist even when he says or does horrible stuff. The anime is doing its own take of it so that should be fine as well.
@@Chicken_Nanders he doesn't know anyone lmaooo that's great. My favorite part of one of the last episodes was him spitting out his drink when he heard how many people they said they gathered. He was like what the hell, where did you get that many people and she was so disappointed she didn't get more.
I didn’t even know they were adapting it until I saw this video its one of the top 3 manga I’ve read honestly. It just sucks even all the good ones have an inconsistent and slow update schedule
@@TotalNigelFargothDeath for something dark: Meccha Shoukan Sareta Ken for something funny: I am the Villainous Lord of the Interstellar Nation for some action : Volcanic Age or The Undefeatable Swordsman a mix of all 3: fff-class-trashero
Huh. This is actually a mildly interesting take on a "self-aware" MC. He's not like "oh my god this reminds me of that trope" (because it IS that trope!!!!), but instead he's like "I am going to MAKE this into a trope because I feel like it" or something? Honestly the first time I've heard of the concept.
Like he is fully self aware about his own delusions of grandeur. Just everyone else taking him 100% serious and he think they all just playing along with him.
He is a self aware chunnibyou. And he loves every second of it. He'd purposely "kill" himself just to play his favourite tropes. e.g The side character who courageously sacrifices himself. People will be mourning and he would be absolutely ecstatic that he pulled it off. He's not a self-righteous character, everything for him is let's play pretend. He's mental...in a hilarious way.
"It won't make you cry like Mob Psycho" Nahhh the lord Eminence has me crying uncontrollably 😂 I freaking LOVE this show it's my absolute favorite anime
He didn’t kill himself on purpose, he was reeling from the head trauma and accidentally ran into an oncoming truck. That was is a solid 4.5 on the dark laughter scale. 9/11 was a solid 8.7 if we’re being honest.
i feel like the manga focused alot more on the humor and that made it funnier, like the part where he tried to crucify himself in search for magic then saw the light of the car on the highway and thought it was magic so he ran to it and got himself killed. that part made me laugh but it wasnt in the anime
@@zzzzzzz080 I feel you there. When I was younger, I would get so enthralled by anime that I would end up not sleeping till 3am, but now I can't even sit through an episode without getting bored. Tastes change, I guess.
So funny thing about him “finding out” about the diabolis cult is that he read out some old ass tale about them in the first place ON THE FLY as he was talking to alpha.
And he still just thinks everyone is going along with him and his bs story even when they tell him things that are happening he’s just immediately in bs mode and thinks it’s all part of the story he made up 😂 cid is hands down the best mc
Considering the anime is adapting the light novel accurately, I find it more amazing that the manga artist was able to make such a comedic adaption in the first place. There are SO many jokes in there that are manga-only. It doesn't lean on the LN, but improves on it. Being able to create a popular isekai comedy manga from that LN really shows the skill of the manga artist. Because they had to figure out timing, panelling, facial expression- being able to create a good comedy is a skill like anything else is. But, this director specialises in action sequences.. so at least there's better fight scenes. I think this is the first time I've seen so many people disappointed an anime was adapted accurately haha
It absolutely does not adapt the light novel accurately. The light novel has a ton of comedy in the thoughts of the various characters. Which the anime basically cuts out completely. A few of the main characters thoughts are still in there, but most are missing. The anime is basically taking a parody light novel and cutting out all the parody parts of it.
@@Amaror2 For an ANIME, I'd say theres plenty of inner monologues from the MC, and the characters are depicted well through their expressions. Most anime dont even have this much monologuing, so for this anime to even include any at all is actually a pleasant surprise. Its really hard to progress the plot when time is spent on characters deep in thought.
@@norwa3518 I mean. Sure. But this anime is build upon a light novel that has it's main hook, the humor, mostly in the inner thoughts. They needed to do something, either more inner dialogue or a less faithfull adaption, which substitutes the inner dialogue with more visual humor. A good example of how they failed to do this for example is the scene where Alexia asked the mc to continue their pretend relationship for real. In the light novel, the explanation that the blood splatter becomes the school legend is the entirety of the joke. But in a visual medium, you can make more out of that with less text. Just seeing the bloodsplatter after the rejection is a very good visual gag, because what happens gets easily interpreted by alexias character. The joke is even competently reinforced by having the mc meet the pink haired girl with blood covering him. But they also added the textual joke from the light novel, which at that point feels a bit redundant. Maybe thats just me, but I feel it would have actual worked better as a joke by just removing the textual part of the joke and just kept the visual gag with the blood splatter and the blood drenched mc. The way it is right now just doesn't work that well. And I do like Eminence in Shadow. The Anime was good enough to get me to read the light novel, which I loved. But it was never really ... good. The episodes were decent, but I mostly kept watching because I was intrigued by the promise. By the great parody potential that the premise of the show had. Only to never really find it. And instead nearly an entire episode is dedicated to the protagonist just fighting a dude. It itsn't even that long in the light novel, they just added extra steps to it for no reason.
@@Amaror2 I kinda agree and kinda don't. The LN is for the most part accurately adapted (modulo some re-ordering) in terms of plot events etc, but in terms of the parodic elements, a lot gets either toned down squeezed out by the constraints of adaptation (although granted there's plenty of scope for that adaptation to be have been done more imaginatively). For example, the confession scene discussed in the video IS handled much more competently in the LN than the anime, and is more similar to the manga (albeit the LN uses the device of Cid showing off to the reader as he's confessing whereas the manga uses inner monologue; in fact, given the theatrical nature of Cid's endeavours, having him give more asides to the audience might have been a good way to preserve some of the lost parodic elements from the LN and manga in the anime). To be honest I'm somewhat mystified to see so many people dumping on the LN in favour of the manga (not the manga is bad, it's just that the LN IS good), to the point that I'm wondering if people are confusing it with the WN (which I haven't read, but it may be different).
For anyone curious, I highly recommend the manga. The first chapter is easily one of the funniest things I've ever read. You'll find out very quickly if this series is for you.
The only manga that came close in humor for me is helck. But then that had a style change to become serious pretty quickly. I think it's getting an anime so will be interesting to see
It is my believe that the word "Atomize" transcended into the viewer by the sheer cringe they absorbed, the sentence itself was a psychological horror that it must be designed to specifically troll the audiences.
There's a lot you can miss when it comes to the anime that makes it so much funnier than the manga. In the scene where he's showing off his loot to look cool, you can see everything in his old room was thrown out into the hallway. Including the whole floor. This dude ripped up his floor boards to install tiled marble just to say "the shadows are ripe tonight." And you know he's going to have to refloor the stuff he threw out just so his room doesn't stick out later. I think that scene was just funnier in the anime than the manga; him doing interior decorating for 45 seconds and the details therein were so much funnier than Beta just coming and being like "OH MY GOD LOOK AT ALL THIS!" And that's before the hidden jokes you need to rewatch to get. I love the manga. I love the LN. The anime has scenes where it's worse than one in some ways, and it has some scenes where it's better in others. You could argue that means this is just as good; which means I love it too. And not in the "this is terrible but I like it" way. I genuinely think this is a going to be a top 3 comedy anime for me by the time it's all over.

That Excalibur scene legit made burst out in laughter. Probably from your voice, but that rarely happens to me. You are right that some of the paneling is just so odd that it is funny.
Agreed the fact that this anime has two perspectives/storylines makes it so interesting, cid through his eyes is just trying to pretend being an all controlling puppeteer and he thinks his friends are helping him do that by pretending with him this leads to a more comedic vibe while the other side of the coin the anime is dead serious and people are dying, abducted and everyone other than cid is either completely confused , terrified and or takes it completely serious cause the situation is serious which gives another vibe. The anime melts these two vibes really well add that on the fact that the animation isn’t complete dogshit and the anime is actually enjoyable.

For the season finale we setup a semi-official watch party with 3 separate viewing times to spread it out so regardless of your timezone or work hours you could join one. Several hundred people showed up, so it was definitely worth setting it up. I can't wait for S2, that's for sure!
as someone who read the manga way before it got popular its great. its stupid but its great. it tells multiple stories that are connected by a reality that is preserved differently by each caricatures view. its all the same story but because it tells the thoughts and views from the other caricatures its not really just 1 story. that's also why I fell in love with the book series wings of fire.
I think that the manga elevates the comedy really well and adds more jokes since it can do so visually, compared to a light novel which essentially only has description to rely on. This also makes it kind of a missed opportunity that the anime, which would have done this even better, opts for the LN version.
Manga adapations with average budgets always looks like crap. They'll just rip shots straight out of the manga and every scene ends up looking awkward as a result. I'm personally glad they're adapting the LN cuz every scene looks hella good, even the non action scenes. I appreciate the excellent cinematography and composition that the anime has (for the budget), and thats only possible because they're creating scenes from scratch to fit into an anime
@@Hetsu.. No it wont look worse. Manga panels are drawn specifically to capture eyes in a manga, not anime. And the anime we have now has a good director. He's very precise with every shot, cutting out any unneccessary scenes. Every camera angle is creative and cinematic and people who only look for "high budget animations" are the only ones complaining here.
@@norwa3518 I see no problem with still shots, as you said it just comes down to good directing. There are plenty of still shots in anime, and as long as the manga itself has dynamic angles itself theres literally no problem.
There was a guy on one of the manga sites I read this on that said “the god of that world is secretly influencing CID’s words and minor actions” and honestly I would love it if at the very end the author proved that theory
It will be funny. Imagine the god thinks "Hey this guy that died recently from earth is atomically chuuni, how about sending him to my world and making everything that this guy thinks always happens. Finally entertainment for this eternal life."
I agree some part is better handled in the manga, but damn the anime is still really fun to watch and since you don't see 1:1 adaptation is really exciting waiting for the next episode even though I already know the plot from the manga.
I think that's what's got me hooked. 1 to 1 adaptations are sick when handled correctly, but it almost dimishes the point of watching the show if you've already read it.
The problem of 1:1 adaptations is dependent on pacing, since when reading you can go as fast as you want. We’re already halfway through Vol.1 on episode 5, I would say that’s slow pacing. But it gives the anime a new charm that the LN doesn’t have, making all WN/LN/Manga/Anime have different vibes to them.
I’m so glad you talked about this anime, and you literally covered all the points I had about this anime and it’s adaptation. Great video as usual scambaby
I was kinda disappointed when I came to that part in the manga because I completely fucking broke when I read that in the webnovel. It was so fucking ridiculously exaggerated.

This series is honestly so funny, no matter what, it takes its own ridiculous situations completely seriously. Everything is being treated like its the coolest shit ever, especially the money scene when i saw that one in both the manga and for the second time in the anime i laughed my ass off both times You're not laughing AT this show. It's laughing at itself and you're along for the ride.
I loved when this started as a manga, was always reading each chapter as they released, and god did it have me laughing. Found out it had a light novel recently, and binged read them. God this series is good.
I just had the weirdest spidey sense to see what the homie Scamboli was doing and here you are with an upload a minute later. This video was destiny. Strangely I also had to get a NordVPN exclusive deal too.
That mixed bath scene was so much funnier than it had any right to be, hope they do it in the anime just like the manga, preferentially with the soundtrack you added
The manga scene shown in this video is just exactly how it happens in the light novel as well. So I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be the same in the anime.
Making the MC not horny was a great choice. Makes for funny scenes like that one and endearing scenes like when he told the girl who makes her body look more "full" with the slime that she looked good. He wasn't even horny about it he just knew she would be happy if he said that. Very wholesome.
I feel like the thing with the adaptation is cuz they trying to leave things to make the jokes themselves, which works well sometimes like with MC taking off his weighted clothing which has the effect of being good writing and being hilarious but then sometimes it dont work like with the confession scene, like you can see him exaggerate (like the furious hand wiping) but aside from being a copy pasted cringe confession scene it doesnt actually show as much as it needs to
It seems to me like they've just removed all narration and internal character thoughts. Even the Light Novel is more humorous if you include the character thoughts.
@@ManaMouseYT thats incorrect. Theres still plenty of narration by Cid, and we hear his thoughts in every episode. Anime will always adapt things to suit its medium
My favorite part about the show is that the comedy isn't just SCREAMING like it is in so many other Japanese animated shows. The jokes are often layered and revolve around misunderstandings or the stupidity of the protagonist.
I'm so happy you giving this show much needed exposure. It's literally the most fun to watch this season along with SpyxFam, I never know what is the next 5 minutes going to look like and that's not something you can ever have too much of, even in this stacked season.
As someone who is anime only, I really like the show so far, everything from the story to the animation and artstyle looks really good! I've seen people who've read the manga complain about how its being adapted and that the comedy is being kinda pushed off to the side just a little bit, but tbh-...I kinda prefer the show be like that, it has a good mix of action and comedy, I couldnt imagine it trying to go the full Konosuba route and be an outright comedy...so all in all, I like what they are doing and I much prefer it this way🙏
I mean to be fair as a manga only reader (i only saw the 1 anime chapter) is full comedy they cut the part where he read harry potter to learn “magic” hit himself in the head multIple times naked to learn “omniscience” and then run into a truck dying thinking he learned “magic”
as someone who has read both the novel and manga as well as the anime, I can honestly say they're much much funnier and personally just much more enjoyable. Of course it's fine if you're anime only, but as someone who read the other versions, I can't help but feel that there's a lot you're missing out on
Immediately before reading eminence in shadow, I read ember knight and thought nothing would compare, I loved how smart the Mc was and despite that not everything goes as planned and he learned from his mistakes. The I read eminence in shadow which is literally the exact opposite l, where the Mc is normal but just bs his way through stuff and predicts everything perfectly and I somehow loved it. I recommend both despite them being polar opposites of each other but what I realized is that what I like about both of them is that they use tropes to their advantage to catch you off guard and become unpredictable
Hey Scamboli. 3:50 when you are mentioning the clanging, those are not weights. They are crowbars, the same ones he uses when fighting people. He mentions that he keeps them on himself and they are easy to explain away if someone opens the bag.
Please do a full review on this later on, kinda summarizing how things went and balanccing expectation vs reality. So far it's what I've been needing from this extremely popular cliche.
Basically the conclusion on this one - is that it started off pretty rough on the comedy, but eventually the production company DID hit the stride and begin to start figuring it out. I'm guessing they did the first couple episodes thinking "generic edgy isekai" - then someone figured out - "no it's not", and then it went into the full madness that is Cid. I ALMOST dropped it - because I was pretty disappointed - but eventually it got itself on it's feet solidly. Advicce for watching: For the first couple of episodes, read them along side the manga, reason is the manga hit the comedy and got it - after about 4-5 in the anime hits it stride with the comedy aspect. it's one of those ones where it's worth it when it happens.
0:10 The manga and light novels will still be remembered for being great works of absurdist comedy, with the anime just being a watered down version. However, it's funny that you make a video about the show now, given how next episode should be amazing. If they don't screw it up, I could see it be memed for years.
4:01 You get to see what is in his bag. It's all his fighting gear. You see this real early in the show as he changes into 'batman' before coming into a room from the ceiling window.
The Eminence in Shadow, is pretty much perfect the way I see it. While most anime make shit, and try to sell it as something good. The Eminence in Shadow, makes AWESOME and tries to make it look like It's something shit, which in return makes it both hilarious to watch and surprising when you notice it's really good. But I am sad the anime wasn't able to fully capture what made the manga so great.
I can get if you don't like the show but you can't say its "terrible" when it gets the same daily views as one piece and chainsaw man (according to 3rd party websites) and before all the one piece simps start attacking me for mentioning it, i did not say it was as good/popular because it only has 1 season not 1000 episodes (just end the show already) and has only been out for a few months compared to years (why are you still reading this) BUT as someone who always watches the "flavor of the month isekai" I actually think this one is good (blah blah blah im running out of this to say) and the fighting in it is very well animated and as far as i remember there wasn't any shitty 3D animation that always plagues shows that just look awful (like come on shows don't you do quality control with someone actually watching those scenes) the back story defiantly was a meme at first but if anyone that is still reading this go give it a watch because the tone defiantly evolves (ok now im done bye)
As someone who thoroughly enjoyed chivalry of a failed knight, and someone who likes the light novel I'm very excited to see where this anime goes. I don't think it's gonna be the next tensura or mushoku tensei, but I'm not asking for that cause we already have those anime. I believe this anime has a bright future ahead of it
People these days call this kind of dark theme anime horrible, people quit watching vinland saga season 2 just because of 'no action bad anime', meanwhile people entitled their righteous opinion that demon slayer is masterpiece just because of animation and popularity lol
I started watching this when I randomly found it and I do have to say, my expectations were subverted. I’m not sure why, but this anime seems way better than most of the other isekai I have seen, mostly because of the comedy and trope subversion. It’s always keeping me on my toes, which I love, and keeps me watching. Hopefully it keeps rolling with the punches!
Worst part of it to me was the princess abduction... he is a freshmen in school, captured by 10+ people armed with swords, who go on to brutally torture him, without any evidence, for 5 days, then they decide to simply frame him...then the girl who is the reason he suffered that attempted to kill he because he rejected her.... and at no point does he get a real apology from the princess, guards, captain or school for this insane event...which i would logically assume is illegal....and the just act like it never happened... nothing i the show is more cringe inducing than this....

I'm pretty sure he knew it was a truck. And seeing as how he is self-aware about tropes, he expected the truck(a common trope) to Isekai himself, which it did. He essentially intentionally "Alt+F4" using Truck-kun to transport himself into a new world.

Reevaluation of the self. What have ye become? You have fallen and forfeited the spiritual inheritance. You'll never find the light to remove the darkness in your unsparked body. You weeb abominations of the archons, no star shall guide you in the clearest of nights, no wind will blow your sail even in the most intense of gales. You and your archonic weeaboo kinds lack Synesis to appreciate the light of the world of the Aeons. You are far away, far away from the light. Ask yourself, ''What have I become?'', ''Will I ever find my place in the sun?'', ''Will I ever find Jerusalem?''. One star rises, one falls from the sky. It is still hiding the way of the true feeling inside. One word closer to things we need to say. One light's burning, another fades away. Don't stand watching your dream go down in flames. One step closer, the door is open wide. Come tomorrow, we'll see the other side. Others sat on a hill retired. In thoughts more elevate and reasoned high, Of providence, foreknowledge, will and fate, Fix'd fate, free will and foreknowledge absolute, and found no end in wandering mazes lost. Of good and evil much they argued then, of happiness and final misery, Passion and apathy and glory and shame, Vain wisdom all, and false philosophy. Then, then shall things, which now confusedly hurled, Seem chaos, be resolved to order's sway, And errors night be turned to virtue's day. Run the great race of faith and take hold of eternal Life. The altar cloth of one aeon is the doormat of the next. For as I turned, there greeted mine likewise. What all behold who contemplate aright, That's Heaven's revolution through the skies. May the contrite soul, the humbled spirit be acceptable to Truth as death of rams and bullocks, as thousands of fatted lambs: such let our new sacrifice be with you today, and may it be your will that we follow wholeheartedly, since those who put their trust in you will not be disappointed. Weeaboos are far away from the light, their mind shrouded with instinctive darkness of the material realm dominated by the archetype of the ego. The day of judgement will expose it. For that day dawns in fire, and the fire will test the worth of each man’s work. Otakus will never hold anything dear to their true egotistical selfish wrathful sarkic indignation. Unlike a leaf on the wind, a weeaboo will never land on their place on the sun. Sarkics draining the light of Sophia bringing upon the archons. You shackle the Elpis brought upon by aeons from the tree of life. You drain the pneuma upon the ethos of the Pleroma. Would the tide of change go in favor to the power of the archons? The weeb flourishes free in the modern age with no regards to the pneuma of the aeons. The weeaboo is free to spread their dominion upon the pneumatics. The Pleroma holds against the horde of hylics unleashed upon by androgynous archons forces under the Demiurge. The weeaboo is a seducer like an archon to normalize savagery of the flesh, the lowest of the mind, the instinctive level, the Sarkic weebs. The sarkic abomination of the Demiurge. What wrath shall thee unsleash upon the material world? Weeaboo abomination subjugation of the instinct upon the divine intellect. The Sagrada Familia is an epitome of the power of the divine intellect gifted by the aeons. You and your weeb kinds are unknowingly shrouding the gift of the divine intellect in humanity by spreading lies made by the archons to which you conceive to your marriage with the flesh. You are at the far end of the tether and when your thoughts won't fit together you'll need to deprogram your mind. It's like seeing a new day. Just what you need to make you nearer to the light. Ekklesiastikos Ainos pneuma rejuvenated by the star dust beyond the Material realm. You are a gross group of fetishists of young people. You have made a gross cultural materialist perversion of Gaia's innocents. A core part of the consumption crisis that weeaboos exploit is the perceived lustfulness thought by weebs in children. This subjugation of archonic weebs over innocents that can't express to adults their thoughts is a way for weebs to take the image of children and replace them to become one with the Demiurge. The profound blocking of genetic diversity done by weebs to the nature of the innocence of children is to ensure that weebs destroy the age of consent and weebs would now completely take the image of Gaia's children and fulfill their sarkic desires. The unprincipled exception of archonic transcription to tolerate a hierarchy of The Loyal Society of the Flesh. The metabrain of the archonic weeaboos pervades society to enshroud the inherited light through metagenesis locking human psyche that would guarantee reign of the Egotistical self that the Shadow hold inside our repressed self that reach back to the realm of our animal ancestors. The weeaboo guarantees such a transformation to occur and continue the rule of the Demiurge to block the light from reaching the Pleroma. The principle of natural selection does not require it, selection can operate rapidly. The weebs are a psychological rapid evolutionary deviated offshoot from the Homo Sapiens Sapiens species naturally selected by archonic forces. Geneticist Goldschmidt continued, every once in a while a macromutation might, by sheer good fortune, adapt an otaku to a new mode of life, a "hopeful monster" in his terminology. Macroevolution proceeds by the rare success of these hopeful monsters, not by an accumulation of small changes within populations. The mutant gene produces its effect by changing the rates of partial processes of development. These significant change of genetic phenotype causes the individual to new behavioral changes. Response to external stimuli is drastically changed by macromutations to account for change in the phenotype of the individual. This drastic change leads to the fulfillment of the increase of the darkness inscribed into an individual. The individual loses their control on their behavior which their environmental influences, in this case fandom obsession, takes over and becomes the primary role of the individual's character, metacognition, evaluation of social constructs, perception of reality, fictional precedence over thoughts and feelings, and losing the ability to distinguish different unique precedences. These psychological change of character of an individual is due to environmental and genetic factors inhibiting normal development of the weeaboo. Why would different partial processes of development be a significant factor to a species? Of what possible use are the imperfect incipient stages of useful structures? What good is half a jaw or half a wing? The concept of preadaptation provides the conventional answer by permitting us to argue that incipient stages performed different functions. The purpose of behavioral changes on the Homo Sapiens Sapiens in regards to the creation of an established preconceived behaviors is that these major adaptational changes in behavior is that it serves as a purpose to stall the creative useful potential behavior of the individual to the point that they unknowingly use material and informational capacity and to waste these resources in order for it to be diverted for selfish and anti developmental capacities that which their logos is diverted to the self which makes them economical and genetic burdens to both society and nature due to egotistical restrictions brought upon by environmental and genetic factors. The archons permeate these genetic phenotypes through increasing hormonal inputs of the individual. The environmental factors that change perception and behavior of an individual is because of the creation of artifacts, any medium anime related, that imbues perception of hormonal change that affects metacognitively only to those whose genetic development has been altered through genetic macromutation. The effect of these genetic and environmental changes to a weeb´s behavior is behavioral isolation due to speciation with their egotistical changed cognition. Behavioral isolation occurs when populations of the same species begin to develop different behaviors that are not recognized or preferred by members in another population. This so called behavioral isolation of sympatric speciation that creates changes to an individual from the same member of a species in the same geographic feature. Because there is no mate recognition between a weeaboo and non-weeaboo due to their behavioral isolation and their genetic and environmental deviations and differences.

Yeah I was pretty sad about the gutting of maturity from “i reincarnated as a slime”

He didn’t kill himself on purpose, he was reeling from the head trauma and accidentally ran into an oncoming truck.

9/11 was a solid 8.7 if we’re being honest.

Mushoku Tensei also has a manga that is way better than the LN. Fucking love that manga
To be honest I'm somewhat mystified to see so many people dumping on the LN in favour of the manga (not the manga is bad, it's just that the LN IS good), to the point that I'm wondering if people are confusing it with the WN (which I haven't read, but it may be different).
the ost is unnecessarily hype as well like when shadow garden makes their appearance and the piano comes on it gets me so excited
The soundtrack was composed by teh same guy who did ReZero.

I really wish the anime kept the internal monologue where cid explains in detail step by step how to act like a background character

Because there is no mate recognition between a weeaboo and non-weeaboo due to their behavioral isolation and their genetic and environmental deviations and differences.

as someone who read the manga way before it got popular its great. its stupid but its great. it tells multiple stories that are connected by a reality that is preserved differently by each caricatures view. its all the same story but because it tells the thoughts and views from the other caricatures its not really just 1 story. that's also why I fell in love with the book series wings of fire.
But it probably happened in the anime as they show the same place where he died in the manga
as someone who has read both the novel and manga as well as the anime, I can honestly say they're much much funnier and personally just much more enjoyable. Of course it's fine if you're anime only, but as someone who read the other versions, I can't help but feel that there's a lot you're missing out on
The thing is by setting aside humor and making it look cooler, it looks cringe instead.
@@hellogoodnite8447 Yeah the whole reason his edgy op shtick works for me is because he is funny.
The titile should be 'When a crazy chunibyo become overpower character.'
Out of every Nord VPN ad, this was the only one that made me want to get it 😂
Hey Scamboli.
0:27 mans got that teacher pose
Lmaoooooo
Basically the conclusion on this one - is that it started off pretty rough on the comedy, but eventually the production company DID hit the stride and begin to start figuring it out. I'm guessing they did the first couple episodes thinking "generic edgy isekai" - then someone figured out - "no it's not", and then it went into the full madness that is Cid. I ALMOST dropped it - because I was pretty disappointed - but eventually it got itself on it's feet solidly.
Advicce for watching:
For the first couple of episodes, read them along side the manga, reason is the manga hit the comedy and got it - after about 4-5 in the anime hits it stride with the comedy aspect. it's one of those ones where it's worth it when it happens.
6:15
I descended into madness from this point on
0:10 The manga and light novels will still be remembered for being great works of absurdist comedy, with the anime just being a watered down version.
If anyone wonders what the music at 7:02 is called... Its
"Theme of Grandia"
6:46 I like how sunrise became sunset, because it’s just more mellow
THe shadow of eminence?
BRO I JUST READ THE LIGHT NOVEL 5 DAYS AGO!
Edit: 4:54 is the funniest part in the LN
2:25 that blur, amazing positioning
BRO I DEADASS THOUGHT THAT WAS TOJI AT THE START 😭😭😭
The thing I appreciate most about this channel is how it keeps giving that Grandia OST work all the way in 2022.
1:10 Vergil's seal of approval
The Eminence in Shadow, is pretty much perfect the way I see it.
While most anime make shit, and try to sell it as something good.
The Eminence in Shadow, makes AWESOME and tries to make it look like It's something shit,
which in return makes it both hilarious to watch and surprising when you notice it's really good.
Definitely the best "bad" anime this year.
What's "bad" about it though?
the biggest troll of this anime is that its on HIDIVE, the real shady world government organisation is the UI
0:53 is... is this a reference to what i think it is? you've earned yourself a sub :)
As someone who thoroughly enjoyed chivalry of a failed knight, and someone who likes the light novel I'm very excited to see where this anime goes. I don't think it's gonna be the next tensura or mushoku tensei, but I'm not asking for that cause we already have those anime. I believe this anime has a bright future ahead of it
why would anyone call it "terrible"? its just amazingly good! brilliant writing, fantastic characters, lots of fun, great action, you name it!
8:17 SO IT WAS YOU!
ive always said, a bad anime is still entertaining
Depends on what kind of bad.
There’s bad bad, good bad, fun bad, and boring bad
@masterdolphin 35
Very true
People these days call this kind of dark theme anime horrible, people quit watching vinland saga season 2 just because of 'no action bad anime', meanwhile people entitled their righteous opinion that demon slayer is masterpiece just because of animation and popularity lol
I started watching this when I randomly found it and I do have to say, my expectations were subverted. I’m not sure why, but this anime seems way better than most of the other isekai I have seen, mostly because of the comedy and trope subversion. It’s always keeping me on my toes, which I love, and keeps me watching. Hopefully it keeps rolling with the punches!
0:43 song? I know I've heard it before but I can't put my finger on it.
Genshin?
Worst part of it to me was the princess abduction...
he is a freshmen in school, captured by 10+ people armed with swords, who go on to brutally torture him, without any evidence, for 5 days, then they decide to simply frame him...then the girl who is the reason he suffered that attempted to kill he because he rejected her....
and at no point does he get a real apology from the princess, guards, captain or school for this insane event...which i would logically assume is illegal....and the just act like it never happened...
nothing i the show is more cringe inducing than this....
Idk who you are man, this is my first time here but 1:35 seconds in you got me demanding myself to watch this.
5:09 Discombobulate!
that rejection scene got me genuinely excited and i haven't even watched it yet
I like how they showed --Cid-- Shadow setting up a room before one of his followers arrived, just so that he could look cool.
