I can't tell you how much you helped me. I've been playing CS-GO since 2016 and I've watched all the clips and tried the fps tutorials but this is the only clip that made a big difference in the FPS and smoothness of the game. Every map loads too fast and the fps drops are gone and the fps is constant. Thank you so much!

Well, unexpectedly, my fps improved more than 50%. I had already very low graphic options and some tweaks but definitely, the video helps!! Thanks a lot.

I think this video is great and I appreciate you doing this. Although I would love the autoexec to be all about FPS. To me it feels like there are some opinion based options (like steam overlay position, demo_index, cl_join_advertise. This doesnt mean that they are not helpful, but without any explanation you are making changes to the viewers game without them knowing whats happening. Keep up the good work 🙂

Didn't work for me, i have this problem. Launch options is exactly in the order you wrote it
Still doesn't work tho, i had to edit the commands from the autoexec net_threaded_socket_burst_cap to default which is 1024 and net_threaded_socket_recovery_rate to 6400
Yeah, still getting this error even after copying the launch options.
I think he slightly misstyped the launch option. The right one is -nothreadedsockets. That fixed it for me.
Yo if you guys still have this problem, remove the net commands at the top of the autoexec. You can still use the launch option! This is what Aysa told me

I had an average gain of 60-70 fps (putting it at 1080p, but I always played at 960p, so the gain was more than that) and CSGO is running smoother. helped a lot, thanks!

Bro this video is insane. I've been struggling searching everywhere to fix var and fps drops, yesterday after not beeing able to play good 1 game couse of drops i decided to format the pc and follow this video steps. The result was amazing i have stable var and huge fps won with a 1660S playing +300fps!

I went from 190, to 330. (And I already had my graphics settings on low before watching this video, yet I still got a huge boost, just by doing the rest. I do still have a lot less performance than I think I should, but this helped a lot!

Damn buddy, running same cpu and slower ram and i get 500-600 FPS. I mean 300 to 500 is not important and i dont want to flex but you miss a lot of performance on your PC. Hope you can fix it.
@@thomasbock428 Yh, I don't get why it's not higher. I get much better performance in other games (csgo doesn't use more than like 50% of my gpu, and like 30% of my cpu)
@@xosadboy5687 I dont have much more in mind than shown in this video. Maybe you CPU doenst clock that high(mine runs at 4,5 Ghz) or check power options and in windows and set it to high. Maybe your PSU is too weak. try high priority in task manager on CS GO. Check if ram is broken and does not run in dual channel. or any maleware that drains Pc performance. Hyperthreading is also a thing but that was shown in the Video i guess ( didnt watch 100% of it because my ingame settings are good and i skipped the part. Thats all i have but maybe something helps.
A lot of these options and fixes are actually not going to have any effect, most of the time nowadays cpus are unparked, steam launch options were confirmed by a valve dev to cause fps issues Rather than fix them (he recommended you to not have any launch options at all in fact). Also gpu and display scaling also depends on your monitor, for example some older benq monitors if you use display scaling has a much more blurry image other gpu. It's also very important in a guide to show in more detail what these options actually do, as a lot of them you'll find after some research don't really have an affect on cs or its performance. Disabling things like steam overlay, steam broadcasting will help because steam is taking less resources. Its good to see people get fps increases but a lot of these are actually not gonna affect cs at all lol.

@@nartouthere yes a lot of that would be from the steam options and the shader cache size, a lot of the other info is useless tho unfortunately or actually bad for performance, hence why you are also getting people saying the fps has gone down

This helped with not only CSGO but all my other games as well. I only did the steam and nvidia changes but it helped a ton!! Could never get fallout 4 to run past 70 and now it sits at what I believe is a 120fps cap. csgo now runs at 240fps, which is my laptops display refresh rate. thank you so much!!

Hi Nart, thanks for the amazing video! It helped me to reduce my input lag really well! But I don't know what caused that, normally 1280:960 would look better but now I can see much decrease on quality. Even I open 8x MSAA and 16x filtering game looks edgy. In terms of desktop quality also, if I switch from 1920:1080 to other resolutions ( 1280:960 for fast alttabbing) my screen looks hella wrecked :D Not important that much but I'd like to know which setting is causing that, maybe nvidia profile inspector or old nvidia driver?
For anybody using vibrancegui and wondering why after using the autoexec your game looks dull, change this command from r_dynamic "0" to r_dynamic "1"

Thank you so much! I have searched 100 of fps videos and most of the videos made my fps worse but yours made mine so much better. Before I had 110 fps with big fps drops in different maps. Sometimes even I had clear 30-50 fps. After the tutorial ( I couldn´t 2 of the things in the video) I hoped that my fps is better and it actually is. My current fps is 250-500 fps. I don´t know how I got so big fps boost but it really helped me and also I don´t have any fps drops now. Again thank you so much for your help and keep up the good work!!!

I am pretty sure you can uninstall your graphics driver with an AMD card as well, which says it on their website
I did all the steps (minus reinstalling the specific nvidia drivers because they said they were missing, i just installed the default ones again) and I somehow went from 234.8 fps to 180 fps. My fps is typically fine in game at like 200 fps but then drops to 90 randomly.

@@oliverhavlit7134 I was able to by downloading using nvcleaninstall and selecting only the recommended options in the driver components. Search for video called "stop installing nvidia drivers wrong" it has the steps.
This helped me boost from 150 to 450+ fps. I dont know which setting it was, but I did all of them and it worked. Thanks!

If anyone is having trouble connecting to community servers and getting this error "net channel rate limit exceeded" in console, remove this from the autoexec - mm_dedicated_search_maxping "25" // max ping for matchmaking games

thats only for mm, but i can reach valve servers just fine. I cant reach 128 tick servers (it just says "net channel rate limit exceeded over ")

Went from 966 to 980 avg. didn't think this would actually work on a high end pc, since almost all the other csgo fps guides i've tried ended up making my fps worse (probably because they are meant for people with potato pcs.
importing the nvidia profile inspector thing also fixed all the stutters I was having, and made my game a lot smoother

There's still debates about cl_interp_ratio 1 or 2 and it depends on your connection. Very unclear what to use even when you look at Pro's autoexec. I guess I'll try 2 for the next week..

use cl_interp_ratio 1 if you have a good connection, and cl_interp_ratio 2 if you have a bad connection.

If youre going to do a fps guide, atleast show the lows and highs, having a stable but lower fps that is consistent, is better than having very high highs and lower lows. And most importantly, if youre doing a guide, only do it if youre able to explain what the different elements does and why it works.

Over the years I've tried countless tutorials that "guarantee" to improve your fps, but none of them gave me any significant or noticeable advantage in-game. Lo and behold this one actually worked wonders! Managed to gain like 50+ frames (250-300) from following each step represented in this video! I did have to improvise and download the Nvidia driver manually, but other than that this was super easy to follow. I haven't had any major lag spikes since, and the game feels a lot smoother now. This helped me so much ! My aim was getting drop during fights but after that processes my game flows like oil :) thanks. In the folder I couldn't install 460.89 so I installed latest drivers. My fps went 222 to 337 :) Graphics card: GTX 1070 and processor: i7 6700k

I got from 612 to 700 , around 100+ fps i had an really well optimized system i have my own tricks , but the nvidia inspector and that launch option made a difference to me !! The rest i kinda already had it or done it in the past but still i did all and it was a improve , recommending this to everyone!
Also people that have stutters just disable cpu 0 in affinity helps alot also to me gave me around 25 fps

by putting it to 0 you are going to lag less when spraying. Putting it at 0 improved my performance a lot. Probably won't matter if you have a strong pc.

Thanks for it, it worked. Went from 160 average to 175 average. I also used the recommended settings from the benchmark map (on the left side) and it boostet from 175 to 190 on average.

Went from 120-160 FPS to 180-400 on my own but kept getting massive FPS drops when looking at players, still not sure why since it is a new issue so maybe an update will fix it, but after following your guide I went to a buttery smooth 350-600 FPS and while I am still getting the weird drops when looking at players, it is barely even noticeable because she is so damn buttery smooth now and far far better then she was before, thank you for this guide you are a legend

ok so for starters I didn't do everything since I already did it in the past or didn't understand the reasoning for it, like the reg memory thing, I only did nvidia inspector, visual c installer , i tried park control in the past which made it worse but tried it again cause the video didn't really do good again (i think its system specific idk or my computer is messed up) also another thing u might of left out is deleting useless launch options makes the game smoother for example i removed -high instantly noticed I wasn't stuttering when I died in deathmatch and instead of having max fps to 999 or 600 ( i limited my fps because pros had capped their fps at 400 or 500 ) like i had it before i set it to 0 and it became even smoother even though the fps didn't change also another thing I kind of noticed, I don't know what made it happen but I feel like my sens is higher idk if the profile made it so mouse accel was active or what or if its placebo one thing that's not placebo is removing the -freq 240 which made the game less stuttery aswell everything combined my fps went from 400 - 500 range all the way to 230 - 340 range but the game feels so smooth and buttery so I don't know if to be mad about it or not edit: btw i run all high settings (but have like 3 - 4 things turned off since their not noticeable and give fps ) and use 1280 x 960 res stretched and always have since low settings ruin my ability to see properly and my specs are rtx 3060, 5600x and 32gb 3600mhz and use 240 hz monitor
