- This is it, guys! We are finally on the move and leaving New Zealand!
What an adventure we had!
We feel grateful and blessed to have been able to spend over two years on the islands, exploring and discovering this patch of paradise on earth while the rest of the world was shutting down!
Those of you who follow our journey know how fast we fell in love with New Zealand and its people. Kiwis are hands down one of the warmest, dearest, most welcoming folks we’ve ever met.
This is why we are excited to continue our adventure but at the same time, we are sad to leave our NZ friends and beautiful places behind… for now!
Fortunately, we managed to get NZ business visas, so, we are not saying Goodbye, we’re saying Until later!
But, leaving New Zealand was a process. Eventually, we had to stay back for an extra week to notarize a bunch of documents and open bank accounts.
In the meantime, we started downsizing on clothes and personal items! And let me tell you, it wasn't easy! We accumulated a lot over two years, and now it was time to pack our lives in a few suitcases and backpacks once again
On top of it all, the girls still had some homeschooling and final exams to do! And since we were about to travel again, we decided to brush up on our language skills too.

Once we had everything sorted out, we were ready to get back on the road. On our way to Auckland, we made a few stops and spent some time with dear friends whom we will miss so much.

You should know that NZlers are wanderers, so we are used people being gone for a long time and coming back. Which means our friendships also last through distance and time. You could come back in a few years and it’ll be like you never left.

We've been to the Kapiti Coast but didn't stay long enough to fully take it all in. You'll see some of our time there in some of our upcoming videos.

When in India, always drink out of an UNOPENED (unbroken seal) bottle of water. I spent a week setting up camp in the bathroom

Yes! Definitely try the Black Water Rafting. You would think we would’ve been more creative but when we filmed this we didn’t tell each other what we were going to talk about. 😂😂 The black water rafting video isn’t out yet but be sure to watch it when we do post it and you’ll see how fun it was. 🙌

For us is super easy to work with companies that we already use and fit with what we do on a daily. It would be a whole other thing if we were promoting a fertilizer product or something completely random. Definitely will miss the people we met.

Something to be aware of.. When you get your visa renewed, they will take into account the amount of time you have spent in New Zealand. If you spent the previous 2 years travelling the world, then they will impose some pretty tough travel restrictions. You might be better off spending a year traveling before coming back to NZ for a year. Ultimately you will want to have travel restrictions removed completely, but you can only do that by spending most of your time in New Zealand.

Well when you come back to rotorua, please come back to this town because you never experience kerosene road near waitapata where you can have a hot bath in the creek 24/7 everyday of the year. It feels like you are an ewok bathing in the creek like you are in an star wars episode. I personally call it Ewok creek.
