Hi Tyler.... Many thanks for watching the video and taking the time to comment. I have bee using the Genesis for a few years now and it an awesome knife, you will be really happy with it!!! Thanks again for your kind words, all the best, Mark.
Hi Michael, I hope you are keeping well mate 👍. I have been very happy with them Thanks 😀, it will be nice when we can get back out again and enjoy the summer. I have just got permission to use a new wood, so my aim for the year is to sort out a camp and get some camping done. Take care Michael.... it is great to hear from you, all the best, Mark 👍🌲🔥.
@@Yorkshiremadmick Yeah I thought something like this would happen. But fingers crossed they will lift the restrictions soon and we can get back out and enjoy the sun. Hopefully before Autumn lol. Take care Michael..... I hope you aren't been too affected by the lockdown mate. I had only just started back to work and then got laid off again. Roll on freedom 🌲🌲🌲🌲.
Sorry to hear that Mark. Yeah. Hopefully we can return to some sort of normality, but I do think the world will be a different place. Hope You n Yorn are remaining safe & well. Just treated myself to a Rob Evans Bushtool 👌🏻❤️
That neck sheath is one of 3 most fantastic most beautiful sheaths I have ever seen. I craft sheaths sometimes and I’ve seen a lot. But that beautiful knife’s handle is longer than I neck carry it. 🔪✨ Your world is beautiful. 🎄
Hi Daryoosh, many thanks for watching and taking the time to comment :) Ben and Lois make some stunning knives and leather products. The neck knife he also makes in a shorter handle version as well. I think they are about £60 if my memory severs me correctly. Happy New Year to you, all the best, Mark :)
Thanks Mark, I've been eyeing Ben's work for a while. Those are some amazing spoons you carved. I recently filmed a spoon carving video and I hope to upload it after Labor day along with a couple more. I hope you have a wonderful week. - Josh
Hi Josh..... I hope you are keeping well. Many thanks for watching and for the comment. I will look forward to watching the videos very much. The spoons I carved are quite basic, but they work. Yeah Ben is a quality craftsman. Both the tools and the green wood working that he does. I've met him a few times at the shows here in the UK and sat in on a couple of his demos. A genuine down to earth guy!!! Thanks again Josh.... have a great week, all the best, Mark.
Hi Jerry, Yeah I love Bens work and I also like the leather work that Lois makes as well. They make some lovely tools and sheaths between them :) Sandy's knives are also very popular here in the UK. An awesome craftsman :) I have a couple of Lt Wright knives which I love to use. But I try to support our local craftsman and women as much as possible. Thanks again Jerry, all the best, Mark. :)
Hi Steven.... I hope you are keeping well my friend. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. Yeah, Ben and Lois are one of the leading makers of bushcraft tools and leather goods here in England, so I am very happy to now own a few now. Thanks again Steven, have a great day, Mark.
Hi Mark... Hope you're well mate. Some gorgeous tools there, I'm sure they will last you a life time. Thanks for sharing. Be safe and be lucky man, Wol.
Hi Wol...... I hope you are keeping well brother. Many thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Yeah, I have always liked the stuff Ben and Lois make...... so fingers crossed they should last me out my days lol. Have a nice week, all the best, Mark.
Hi Ed..... I hope you are keeping well. Many thanks for watching and taking the time comment. I like your little spoon symbol... nice!! Thanks again Ed.... have a great week, all the best, Mark.
Well mate another video of the highest standard. Really beautiful tools you’ve every right to be proud of them you wouldn’t believe it but just today I was on Etsy looking at tool rolls for just this purpose. In a future video I would really enjoy a video describing how you got into Bushcraft and which aspects resonate with you cheers mate 👍
Yeah Ben makes some lovely tools. If you look on his website, he makes specific tool rolls for carving tools. Or the one I have I bought off amazon. They sell them as bonsai tree tool rolls. It is just the right size to hold my carving kit. I think someone mentioned tagging me for a video describing how I got into it and my influences etc. So should be doing that soon. Have a great weekend mate, all the best, Mark. :)
Hi sim1tti, many thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I was thinking of doing a sharpening video, a few people have asked. If you want to watch a good video about sharpening hook knives, Ben Orford has selection on his You Tube channel, but it something that I will cover in a video soon. Thanks again, all the best, Mark.
