After playing the game since release, watching someone new to the game is really enjoyable to watch. Simple mistakes, straight to lethal is badass tho

I was dieing. This was funny and proved how ridiculous the game can be when facing zombies that seem to be uninterested in your rivals and your rivals seem to be invincible. Lmao
In this game a zombie bite doesn’t cause a person to get infected, it’s the blood plague or death

Watching you start on lethal as someone who has played since release was hilarious. It took me months to get that skill and understanding down to be successful on that mode. Lethal is a good way to keep losing survivors to plague infection.

@@gameadd1ct213 No cap, though, I actually lost a character in Dread difficulty recently. I had this character max out every skill and I had him since the game launched. He only died because I did not think the difficulty would be in Dread as hard as Normal used to be when it came out. Haven't even spent 10 full minutes in a lethal zone yet.

I should point out, in state of decay, getting bitten by a regular zombie doesn't turn you into one, or at least it's not guaranteed.

@@YoloCat tbh, I haven't played the sequel so I don't know how much has changed, but the first games dlc lifeline made a point about it where a scientist you were trying to rescue killed himself because he claimed to be infected from a bite, and later one of you allies is confused about it cause they have tons of guys going in and out of the infirmary from zombie bites and none of them have turned and feel fine.
@@valdish9620 It's something I was kinda confused about because Ed in the first game got bit by Thomas and he was out of commission for a while but you can get bit a lot but you don't get infected, instead inhaling bloater gas infects you.
@@greenherb3229 I think it's because the decease is a bacterial infection, and bacterial infections take a while to spread, but they're not a problem once you apply antibiotics, which is what they do with every injury in state of decay.
@@valdish9620 I just feel like it's weird because Ed, Pastor and Alan all get infected but only Ed lives..? They could've saved the other two quite easily because in Breakdown you could have a character who is infected and they get healed by just having Meds and a doctor with Medicine.

I love this game even with the glitches lol. There was an example of a stupid glitch when a juggernaut was killing a survivor and some how I took the same amount of damage he was taking even tho I was 20 feet away 😑 I lost that character 💀

I’ve played since day one but I stay away from lethal zone because of the fear. Seeing you do it and make mistakes made me feel as it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Also try to do head shots only on human enemies.
My guy...you get all the props for jumping straight to lethal zone. I've been playing the game since it launched, and even I had to slowly ease into lethal. I play primarily nightmare. Blood ferals are the most lethal thing in the game, and they are only in lethal. Try nightmare next time, and skip the tutorial (IMO). I think you can learn those things as you go.

Lethal is only for seasoned veterans lol. It's just too much for most casual players like us. Even sourcing and delivering a rucksack to the base feels like an expedition in lethal.

I played this game 5 months ago and it was fun but god damn the bugs and shetty balancing. And heres the thing, despite those issues the game is still hella fun. I hate that its so fun cause it pisses me off so much. The zombie spawns are so reetodd it. Literally zombies manifest and disappear in thin air at well like shadow ninja.
Yeah it's a bit annoying but there's a lot of good to be had playing it. But the bugs interfering in a lethal run can be a real pain
@@YoloCat yea its fun when a blood feral spawns inside your base. No but seriously the game is a ton of fun. Just wish the devs were more skilled.
I also hear part of the reason it has the limitations it does is cause its an xbox game and consoles are not as powerful as some pc's so thats why you sometimes get odd zombie spawns in higher difficulties.
I think dread is the perfect difficulty if only it had blood freaks as well cause it can be too easy.
If I didn't know any better, I'd say you never approached the rear of the vehicle and accessed it using [E]

Playing lethal first is might be the best way to learn the game.
I can assure you lethal is easy to play once you learn how to play. You may even have fun playing it.

My experience was amazing right from the start. Installed, loaded in. Selected my first two characters and crashed to desktop as soon as I could move.
Eventually it worked for me, pretty fun!

This was dam hilarious. I'm a nightmare player. I don't play lethal because I don't want to suffer
I recoiled the entire time you thought it'd be a good idea to shoot the dudes that are specifically made to almost trump your firearms, and *only* shoot them down. Ya could'a just dodged behind them and done an execution, or just clubbed them to death, but... welp, all that ammo gone now.
Riot gear doesn't make people invulnerable to bullets. In a lot of games you can still hurt the enemies HP, crack their amour, stagger them. Some have tripping the target by shooting the legs or breaking face cover allowing for a head shot kill. It was my first time playing and i'm not going to know what mechanics the game has unless I try things out
@@YoloCat I know, and it was funny, but it just hurt to watch as someone who was in that same position years ago. I like testing my enemies armor as well, but SOD1 nor 2 have an armor-breaking system and they're both survival games. I am just a perfectionist when it comes to these games. Heck, I didn't start to use explosives even rarely up until last week. After having beaten SOD once, the demo several times, and SOD2 5 times over the years since launch.

At the time I was just annoyed that you were being hypocritical doesn't mean I didn't like the video, that was the only thing I complained about meaning it was a good video overall as people on RUclips are way more likely to complain about something than say somethings good so no news is good news
@@helmetmcbarin What was I being hypocritical about? I made criticism of things that are exacerbated by the difficulty but I don't remember saying the difficulty was bad? Like when I run into the bloater, the screen is nearly pitch black, my characters spouting dialogue not relevant to whats going on, I can't move my character, the game is prompting me to click my mouse, I EARN AN ACHIEVEMENT!, and I have a tutorial prompt of how to transfer loot. Thats a bit of a mess. Or when I shoot the enemy survivors with the same ammo that would mess up most zombie, even ferals. The survivor starts break dancing on the ground while being eaten alive then gets up and beats the shit out of me. You can still enjoy the game and acknowledge things like that are wack and given lethal intensity those things stand out more
