Its a great series... I mean anyone can make a botting series. But Honest made a community and he made the idea of botting fun... While also teaching AHK which you can use outside OSRS..
Tbh if jagex don't want bots they should just make fun content. Sure gold farming bots aren't good, but if you're botting to save having to spend inordinate amounts of time on a boring repetitive task then that's only human.
The videos are still a great resource to learn automation with AHK, wether it's for RuneScape or other applications. If you'd make a series dedicated to AHK with RuneScape examples then you might even be able to appeal to a larger audience. Part of my job is RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and I use lots of AHK like tools for automation, your videos definitely help people in my position! :)
Truly enjoyed the series, thanks for the effort bruv! It was going to happen eventually, Jagex would've sought you out. So far, it looks like manual reports / bans are the only hindrance, aslong as the script is solid. I got a 2 day temp, script fucked out walking my character into a fence for about 2 hours lol... Fixed script, running it on 2 other accounts simultaneously, no bans.
It was great series! Loved it! You have nice calm voice that is easy to listen to. Your beginner's guide to ahk was very well explained and inspired me to write different scripts myself and really make the first steps into some form of programming world. Thank you!

I was watching an interview with Reach and he said Jagex basically has a log of everything your account does up to a point. I'm sure having a niche money making method not many people do combined with showing your HP/Prayer/various skills would be enough for them to track you down quite easily. He did however say it's only up to a point because they have to clear the records periodically to save disk space. If you bot again behind a new IP and did delay the videos for a month you might actually not get caught.
You had a good run. Thanks for the series. I'm also not mad at Jagex for the temp ban on my account. It could have always been a perma ban xD It was a fun exercise is programming and automation. And yeah as you said, if it wasn't for all of the mind numbingly boring quests I'd just start a new account.
Sad to see that acc go...is there anyway you could show us how to do a basic fishing script where you show how to make sure you are fishing if you aren't fishing show how to make sure to click an available fishing spot etc. I've made a couple scripts during my first day of using AHK but cannot figure this one out...much love broham.

so get this. I botted to max in RS3 (before it turned to shit well before divination came out) and i just stopped playing because I had reached a max cape. (i did get 99 farming and 102 dungioneeing on my own). But the wild thing is, once they released OSRS, I got back on the account after a couple years and started playing (not botting) and after a couple days my account was permanently banned. So its almost as if they went back and looked at my xp rates and determined I was botting a couple years in the past and banned me for that!
Thank you for making these videos! You helped me a lot with my AHK scripts. I'm trying to make a fully automated bot that will play the game completely. I want to give it walk randomization (Making it so it does not follow the same path every time it walks) and the ability to read the map and know where it is. I also want to make it be able to do most quests. The main goal of it will be to get a max account without any human input whatsoever (other than starting it). I'm planning on putting it on a raspberry pi so it runs automatically and have it auto log in and out. Anyway, love your vids!
They found you! Try again but try and hide between episodes! Make sure your real levels lag behind every video so they can't find a player with those exact stats!

Damn that sucks. I followed your tutorials and made a bot that got 99 RC. I got banned but it was only 2 days. Meanwhile I have friends who get perma'd on their first offense for autoclicking alching. I don't know why jagex is so inconsistent with ban times. Hope eventually you make another series whenever that may be, if at all.

hey if nothing else, a jagex mod literally had to take time out of their day to track you down to get you banned. I think that's a pretty good achievement considering you effectively defeated their bot detection APIs and probably would have not gotten banned had you not been uploading this awesome content. Would you have any plans to open-source your scripts? I think it'd be pretty interesting to see the way you think compared to how I and others think when writing complex ahk scripts.
@@angelo1949 The thing even if he releases the source code it's not like Jagex can do anything to stop it unless they fundamentally change how their bot detection works. You can't just hardcode to check for a specific script that would get you nowhere and be a complete waste of time because all I'd have to do to beat it is do something like change up my random timings. And Jagex knows how we beat them because they know the deficiencies in their bot detection APIs so, to them, source code for AHK scripts like these are worthless.
try buying an old main account for like 80-100 and try maxing that out? a big majority of things would be done and the history of the account would help for antiban.. in terms of stats you could cover the second digit and still let us know what youre working on but have high scores harder to track.. never open up quest tab, etc
They can literally see the IP of the account. It would be pretty noticeable that not only the IP changed but the way it plays changed. Plus account sharing is banable anyway.
I use to bot like 10 years ago and made a fully maxed out account that still isn't banned (haven't played it since they took the wilderness out of the old runescape) I recently thought about coming back to runescape and found out botting is 10x harder then it use to be which makes total sense. I miss the hobby though, waking up with your friends and pking with maxed out pure accounts. Man those were the days.

Got 99 herblore, crafting, firemaking, range, fletching, fishing, and cooking so far just botting it’s surprisingly easy, done hardly anything legit and it’s way more fun than playing the game itself
Jeroen Versace I used premium bots on Runemate (cost between 0.05c and 0.10c) herblore was expensive (about 90m) but about 3/5 hour stints, fishing I was doing 11 hours days botting, and ranged I did NMZ you can do 16 hours days very comfortably using that bot.
Jeroen Versace I did it on a pure I had maxed range stats Blow pipe full rangers etc, if you’re low on cash best is to use whatever you can afford it can work with just about anything.. the bot is called “Prime NMZ”

From what I've seen, broken scripts are one of the main reasons people get banned using AHK haha, glad you only got a 2 day
