I know its an older video now but since part of it is dealing with cheap trigger fix upgrades I couldnt help but mention and recommend a JP 3.5lb reduced power AR spring kit. Like 10$ online most places. Ok, so maybe not as quick and easy to install as the trigger set screw and the grip, but def doable for most guys if you are mechanically inclined at all, and you have a mil spec trigger installed, def within DIY reach zone if people just follow a how to vid. But anyhow, I agree the grip is frickin awesome. For the money, its the best. The only thing I can recommend above it is a straight up G10 grip if youre looking for the absolute BEST in grip traction but then again youre looking at a 100$ item too
Hell fuckin yeah brother! Ever since I replaced the grip on my first pistol w/ a Hogue I was hooked. Since then, every firearm I buy gets a rubber grip first thing.✌😁🤘🇺🇸
before I went to buy that JoeBobs grip screw I check my AR15 trigger out. FOUND that when there IS NO AMMO in the chamber there is some play like you show in your Video. BUT when loaded the play is gone . SO I see no reason to Pay $15. for something I don't need.
I see what youre saying BUT I dont know if I would say its a completely useless upgrade. For a small amount of money I dont think its asking too much to take practically any slop out of a mil spec trigger. It may not do a whole lot, but for the money, what it does do is better than stock for most people IMO. It really all depends what kind of factory mil spec trigger u have I feel like. There can be a big diff from one brand to another, especially if you have an enhanced mil spec trigger. Just saying...
@@unleasheth I think that this combined with a spring kit and an already decentish mil spec (polished) can perform similarly to a single stage that is a hundred dollars more expensive. It's worth it for that alone, tbh.
This is my personal favorite grip for my AR’s. If your looking for a grip try this one, it’s the best in my opinion.

Cool! Was looking at the Hogue grips and ran across this, and I'm glad I did! Gonna get that screw thanks to you.

Have strange screw in core ar what tool to remove
Does this work with a drop in trigger?
Great video man. Thanks
Wonder if this trigger fix would work on a freedom ordnance fx-9??
Should its a regular ar trigger
Hey will this fit a sig m400 AR? I assume it would but I’d hate to buy it and it not fit lol
Curious about the scope looks like a aimpoint pro ?
I recognize it as a Vortex Strikefire II since I have one as well
@@Blackbirb5150 thanks
Was this the "Overmold" version?
yes it is
Do you need to buy a new screw? Can you use the original one if you want?
nick gambrazzio I believe you can use the standard screw
The standard screw will not be adjustable but it will work with the grip.

Appreciate that!
