- This video is so long overdue but I wanted to share my freshman year dorm room video anyway! This dorm is in Wassaja Hall at the University of Illinois Urbana - Champaign and it's really nice and spacious!! It was fun to look back on everything I had in my room and I hope you enjoyed :)

did you ever have an issue with the bookcase being on top of the desk like that? that's kinda what i want to do in my dorm but i'm worried about it falling over
no I felt the bookcase was stable up there when I was studying or using my desk! The only time it kinda wasn’t was when I got on top of my desk chair to reorganize my bins at the top and it kinda started wobbling but I quickly just moved it into place again lol
do you know if all the dorms at uiuc have such big closet or closets with top shelves? I think it’s nice that they have such big closets for the bulky illinois winter outerwear.
i’ve heard wasaja is a harder dorm to sign up for…how was that for you?
What do you wish you could bring from your room at home that you don't have currently in your dorm?
Honestly I think I liked my dorm a lot more than my own room hahah. Possibly my bookshelf with all my books and trinkets and souvenirs? Or my dog
What about the 3rd door? Is it closet of your roommate?

Nothing wrong with FAR!! It has such a stigma for being super far away but most of the ppl that I met that lived there said it wasn’t too bad. I hope you enjoy your time at u of i!

Hi! UIUC is the university of Illinois Urbana Champaign, aka U of I. I have lots of favorite places on campus but I love the union because there’s lots of places to study there and there’s food there too and it’s very central to campus so it makes it a great place to stay in between classes and meet up with friends.
