Trucker Doc, Hey brotha....i been rollin with Swift since May, 2001. Have done company and Owner Operator operating out of HQ Phoenix, AZ. Currently shooting this message from our home here in the Philippines, came back to the island with a stack of cash this past July to do some amazing renovations on our home. Will be back to AZ Swift to jump back in my truck. Swift has been one heck of a company and have always treated me right....even when i deployed for a year with the Army for Operation Enduring Freedom. So ill be back in Phoenix this coming January 3rd week and back on the road. Great Video Doc....!
Great video. I'm hoping to join up with Swift Phoenix soon here as a new driver. Looking forward to binge watching some of your other videos soon. Earned my sub. Hope all is well.
I had to chain 1 time in my 10 year career. West of Denver Colorado. Most of the truckers didn't know how to chain, but I learned by watching a RUclips video while chaining. It wasn't hard, but I still didn't feel safe going down that mountain. I will never chain again. ⛓️ Just pull over 😊
Im coming back to Swift this week, what is the take home pay looking like now? Last i was there, i did northeast percentage 65%, never took home less than 2k a week unless i went home
I’m a new subscriber! These days you have to do what’s best for you and your family. I currently do flatbed for a company out of the Chicago area. Last year, the pay was .65 but after the market started to decline he dropped the pay to .50 now .55. I’m working way harder and I’ve only seen one paycheck since I came back in May that was over $2600. I’m getting ready to go do reefer for a while.
There is no Pay drop once you agreed to work for them for a specific amount. Drivers like you give the green light to these dam companies to treat us horrible because they will mostly stay. Who tf would stay with a company after they cut your profits by .15ċ. You must have horrible driving record to deal with that.
Hey guy's its swift worth my time been out there's,yesterday i did my application with swift, this will be my 2nd time attempting going with swift, i canceled the orientation the first time n 2nd time,im really scared going with this company because everyone talks mess, the Recruiter promise you 1200-140] a week but everyone says its false, that i will go hungry out there,,i guess ima give it my final try n be a man and go out there n find out the true myself, i just got my class A in 6 months ago and Gordon food company gave me a chance to drive ,but dammm its hard work, they pay good ,i bring home 1600$ after taxes BUT DAMMM they will work you and i cant do it no more,,so hopefully i don't regret Swift
Hey I’m speaking with a recruiter now about leasing and she’s telling me that Swift doesn’t do walk away leases, is that true? If so, How do you get out of the contract if you’re unhappy?
As far as i know it’s walk away i did twice but u may have a balance depending on conditions of truck. And ask i did was drop it off at a turn in location
I left swift wasn’t making good money and I was doing local then freight was always low so I’m with a FedEx contractor OTR I love it then always had break downs with swift and nothing ever got fixed
