If I recall correctly, while he had been a Pirate of notable success for many years he only attempted to complete the Grand Line and become the Pirate King after he learned he was sick. He was able to complete his journey/goals in three years time.
So glad I can watch all these speechs I was born with rhotacism and studder still when stressed out about meeting new ppl. Even as an adult I'm still effected by my rhotacism and studder . Crying with frustration and embarrassment when I'm reading out loud alone I hear myself. I don't feel so alone watching the speech's that this channel post thank so much for existing and posting. 🐝💪
Wait, wait waaait.. he stutter? I have spent my whole 2010s watching Drew Careys Whose Line and never thought about it. He and Colin were my absolute favorites.

I remember one time I started a new job, and they told me to leave my voice mail message, then go meet them in a conference room. It was supposed to be like 2 minutes at most. Three months later I still couldn't do it. Being on the spot like that. I'm probably 70% ok, just certain sounds I've always struggled with. It's minimized my Life. I've just accepted mediocrity.

Wow..just saw this...I didn't know my man Wayne Brady studder..what he said was real. People make fun of... I knock him out when they try to me. I'm 43 and now talking about my studder. He was 45. But what good does it do??? People make fun of. And I'll continue to knock em out
Never seen this fella before but I'm interested how people with a stammerer speak. Sometimes it is not that noticeable... and with Wayne you can certainly find it hard to pick it out.
i never knew he too stuttered...this is so inspiring to watch it gives hope to alot of kids to know that they can overcome the stuttering.
