So badass to see SpaceGodzilla get his own story chronicling his adventures in the cosmos, I really hope we get more kaiju comics like this in the future
Hey Matt thank you for bringing this project to life! This is a great way to revisit this character without having to get muddled up with continuity, and just enjoying him without being stifled by his films criticism. However if there was a panel with him executing Moegera I wouldn't be upset! 😅
Wonderful!! Quite an entrance for Singura, and nice to hear it has a "roar" of some kind! Can't wait to read this and see SpaceGodzilla in planet-conquering action.
I was hoping this issue would be epic, but this goes far beyond what I imagined. Spacegodzilla being awakened from a self-imposed slumber, and probably sensing HIS crystals down on the alien world, decides to punish them for their impudence. And as such, he reminds us and teaches them that there's a reason Godzilla is in his name: the only difference being there's not a shred of morality in the Crystal Tyrant. Nor any hint of mercy. And whatever they throw at him is doomed to fail because those aliens aren't the heroes of this story - this is a villain's tale. And there can be no better villain in the Godzilla lore to tell a story about than Spacegodzilla, who probably does consider himself no less than a God. I often compare him to being equivalent to the likes of Doctor Doom, but perhaps that's too high a praise. But it doesn't matter. As my favorite villain kaiju in toho's line-up, I only give him the praise I feel he rightfully deserves. I can't wait until this issue gets released: it's going to be legendary.:)
The fact this features aliens is awsome. The way Specaegodzilla would live up to his name, causing destruction and havoc across the stars. I hope they would a similar story with King Ghidorah, who's been doing the same thing long before Spacegodzilla is about to do in this comic.
Thank you everyone who stopped by to watch the premiere! If you were here for it, sound off in the comments! The comic drops on August 30th!
It was a nice read and I loved the neons
Hey @mattfrank85 what about Godzilla rivals: vs mechagodzilla | comic trailer now in September 30
For those curious, the soundtrack is from GODZILLA: UNLEASHED, and it's Space Godzilla's theme!
Nice way to put an easter egg!!
Niceeee!!
No wonder it sounded so familiar.
Love it! I played the game before! Completed it years ago!😊

Space-Godzilla is my favorite Godzilla Villain of the 90's. His one I would like to see again on the Big Screen. The toughest Godzilla foe, Out there.
The Crystalline Conqueror is back, baby!🎉

I'm so ready for this. Anytime you grace us with a Godzilla comic is a cause for celebration. Hail to the King from the Black Hole.
