Re-soldering all those wires has gotta be a major PIA!

    Great job mate!
When we gonna see that MZ series camera on the bench? (Quite the under taking).
    Peace.

I took my Mx to a punk show. And it met the ground. It dislodged prism. Unfortunately I didn’t know not to wash with isopropyl. Now frosted😢😢😢😢 not so much cheap as solution to fix

Hey man i stumbled across one of your videos trying to restore my 35mm p&s. My battery contact points are fried from corrosion like you said is common I think. Ive tried cleaning it, but it still just heats up. Do you have any advice to fix or replace it? It may just be better to buy a new one

So, gotta ask, ever work on any Nikon F2’s? Specifically any of the metered prisms?
Cause I’ve got two that crapped out on me. (DP-11 and DP-12)

I literally just got one in the mail today with an iffy meter that I was going to try and take a look at

Would love to know how it turns out.
The DP-12 of mine metered fine for a good while (though the positive LED never lit up. I can work with that though) But now it’s getting to where I may flip it on and it only reads under.
The DP-11 just got to where it won’t meter for any setting past a certain low EV. Which is frustrating because I like low light shooting.
