Great phone
Do you have a screen protector? I used mine without one and the oliophobic coating wore out so I decided to get the s25 ultra and now I always have a screen protector and a case for trade in purposes.
@MidSoulReaperi always have a screen protector and a case on my phones because im paranoid about scratches especially on the screen , i only normally buy cheap tempered glass ones but this time i bought quality on both of my phones and bought the tempered glass ESR ones , they come in a case and you put phone in it and there so easy to fit , im on holiday and i had both phones on a bar where i was drinking face down as i use clear cases to show the beautiful white colour off , and somehow i managed to knock the s25U off and it landed perfectly flat directly on the screen with a massive cracking sound , when i picked it up there was no dents to the phone and just a tiny crack to the screen protector , so next day i went to buy a new one and put that on but when i get home in February i will be buying a pack of these ESR ones and putting one on just because i know how good they are , i couldn't believe i did it because im normally so good and careful with my phones lol
Do you find the fingerprint scanner doesn't work with the screen protector? I wish it still had the fingerprint scanner on the back like my Note 9 did.
@reljoyfingerprint wirks 100% if you buy the right tempered glass ones , the last time i bought some i paid for a pack of 2 or pack of 3 ESR ones and they are awesome and so easy to fit because they come with a box you put phone in and nothing can go wrong

Got mine at launch one thing for sure it was the best phone in 2025 and will remain a top contender in 2026 you will never get bored with this beast

I'm only on like day 4 of mine but man it's good. Came over from iPhone 15 Pro Max. No regrets yet.

Day 2 of s25u 512gb. Pretty sweet! One ui8 has some amazing features too. Surprised how heavy it is compared to note 10 plus i used for last 6 years. They installed case and screen protector which unfortunately loses antiglare benefit. Is it worth risking removing screen protector for antiglare or to protect new expensive phone
I'm a big fan of the design and hope they continue to use titanium and not jump back to aluminum like apple has. The durability advantages are clear.
99% of the people using this (or any other phone for that matter) put a case on it, so the sharp edges don't really mean anything.
I prefer this phone over any other phone ever.

I came from a 15 pro and its just insane and better in every way. I had to use my iphone for a few things during the transfer and IOS actually bugged me even for the few minutes I had to use it lol
First thing I do with my phones, before I even take it out of the box is get a heavy duty case
all phones should be in a case much more comfortable to hold and protect
Or people should just do whatever they want with their stuff

Great video. I've had this phone since the summer and have had no issues with it. I have 8.5 on it now and it feels like an even different and much more better phone. I won't be giving this phone up any time soon

With the new battery tech, I would think Samsung could easily almost double the battery and keep the s-pen in the same amount of space.

First Samsung phone I am using without a screen protector and case, mainly because its so well balanced. And true, with GoodLock and GoodGuardians, all these small tools together make it the best Android experience. I have tried other phones but this entire package brings me back. S25U to me is well balanced hardware and software wise.
Great video mate! It's a great phone for what it needs to do, plus their worldwide ecosystem (appliances n assesories) r a no brainer. The UI n software in general is the best I've experienced so far too!

SPen and Dex makes Ultra make sense and worthy of $.
I've had my S25 Ultra for almost a year now and I'm quite pleased with it. I wish the S-Pen could control the camera but I have an alternative solution for that. I also wish DEX would work with my MacBook but I'm guessing Samsung removed that because Apple's iPhone is a direct competitor with Samsung.
What is the alternative solution may I ask?

I'm on my third S pen for my S25 Ultra- don't sit on them, they are very fragile! 🤣
More expensively, the main mic has died and I'm having it replaced by Samsung's "to your door replacement service" on Friday- £158. Not happy.

@YesToShoesIt just stopped working in tandem with changing port issues- bboth of which are part of the same sub board. Literally, one day fine, next day not.
Problems diagnosed by "loop back" mic test and phone diagnostic tool and Samsung Members diagnostics.
Major bummer and a first for me, ever.

I continue to always go back to my S25U. It's the Goldilocks for me size and weight. My iPhones get turned on to update only..

Agree with how comfortable it is. Whatever finish they used on the sides makes it very easy to hold. I appreciate the try, but the camera rings are ugly. I have a small micro scratch in one of them despite never dropping my phone.

@ShrekVapeReviews I own both, I took them out of the cases and lined them up. The S25 U is a 1/4 inch wider, that would make it a 1/2 wider if it unfolded. 6000 maH battery, Maybe an S pen, 2 Tara Bytes of storage. I would pay more for this then a Tri Fold.

I have the S24 Ultra. I didn't like them removing Bluetooth from the stylus so I went S24 not S25.
I use the stylus every day (using it now).
Hope s26ultra not have sharp sides like s25 ultra
If my s25 ultra wasn't on the bottom of the ocean I would not be upgrading to a s26 ultra
It is a beast phone but the video camera is good and the zoom also but zoom in and out is not so great, i hate it. That needs to be better, i have iPhone 17 Pro Max now, so much better that video camera to zoom in and out, i love it.
The S25U is great! Can't wait for the S26U. Hopefully, Samsung won't sacrifice the titanium frame.
I only just bought a s25 ultra about 3 months ago because last year i had the s24 ultra and a i phone 13 PM and i loved my s24 U so much , even the shape , hence why i didn't like the s25U shape compared to the 24U , but now i have the s25U and a 16PM and they are both amazing phones , i cant see me upgrading for at least another year

In my testing the s25 ultra the frame of the phone and design really doesn't much matter when it's in a case when it comes to the s24 ultra it does pretty much anything the s25 does and then some with the added Bluetooth s pen.. until Samsung brings the feature back they're still going to have lackluster sales like they have with the s25 and the new launch of the s26 which is pretty much set to fizzle.
I am still a Samsung fan but until they make some major changes and bring back some of the whole reason we have an s pen there's no reason to continue upgrading even if there are positive but minor changes to camera use and quality 99% of people are fine with the current cameras
The S25U sold more than the S24U…
All this fuss about sharp edges by many youtubers baffles me as no one i have seen dont use a phone case which gives a better grip with its rounded edges. I like the phone to be slim and enough wide to fit in one hand with easy to reach side buttons, minimum bezel without rounded screen edge and camera modules not looking like a big plateua on the back of the phone. Only thing i miss about the phone is the S pen.
Just wobble it and you'll get an idea of the build quality...🤦🏻♂️
Saw it in the store and it's not made as good as my s23U and the camera lenses looked glued on. I've had every Note practically and a few iPhones and s23U seems to be made more solidly but it is sort of heavy. My wrist hurts after a time. I guess lighter is better.
I recently upgraded from the Z Fold 3 to the S25 Ultra, and wow, it's so much better. I've found no bugs like the Z fold 3, and the cameras are way better.

Ive had mine almost a year and the one thing i found wrong is some times when i which youtube the screen is very dim but i think thats a youtube problem not the phone problem but cant be sure

I've purchased the 17 pro, its in my drawer, still using the s25 ultra.. i ve used my 17 pro one week, cant get used with ios lack of intuitive gestures i guess and before the s25 ultra, i used 9 years apple phones😂
I switched from an apple device... it's the best phone I've used in years. The more apple put ios updated out, the worse the device gets. That's why I switched to samsung.
How many people actually use a phone like this everyday without some sort of case and screen protector? Kinda makes the first 3-minutes of this video pointless for moat users.
You didn't mention a screen protector. Did you use one? I'm glad I had one on when I dropped my S24 Ultra the other day and the screen protector got cracked badly. However, I find the fingerprint scanner doesn't work with a screen protector. I wish it still had the fingerprint scanner on the back like my Note 9 did.
There are usually settings so the fingerprint scanner still works with a screen protector by increasing its sensitivity.
I also recommend having it re-memorize your finger prints with the protector already on.

Great video. I almost didn't get the 25 ultra but with 700 off I had to. I'm using the Z Fold 7 as my daily driver but I am excited to see what the ultra can do
Had mine since launch, battery was great at first and on one ui 8.5 it's okay.. and I miss the Bluetooth on the spen for taking pictures..

Samsung ran crazy good deals in November and December. It was as low as 800 usd.

I always have clear cases for my phones because most of the time i go for the so called white versions and my s25U and 16PM look fantastic in clear cases to show the colour off
Mous cases are not that big rugged case. But it does protect your phone like the big cases. You cannot agrue with the protection in their RUclips videos...

They should make new s23 Ultra with everything new but the curved edges n better 10x optical zoom n put the anitreflective screen . I am watching on my S25 Ultra just got over a week ago

Wait for S26U to feel a bigger impact on the change and you should wait regardless for the price drop, but in my humble opinion S26U going to give you a better change

Depends; Fold has superior multitask capabilities and unique features like selfies with the main camera. Ultra has a better camera system, bigger battery, and S Pen. Choose Fold if you want a phone more work-related, or Ultra for an all-around device. I'm using an S24U since launch and can't complain about anything.

I went from s23 ultra to s25 ultra...great phone...I'm very happy...only thing Im disappointed is battery life...I'm getting 6 hours on light performance mode...1440p...I think s23 ultra was better when it came out ..and I don't play any games...just Instagram...X...Websites...Evey year we read how new snapdragon is 15-20% more efficient..I don't see it at all in daily usage ...Samsung has to do better job at this...
I'd look at you battery stats, i got 9.5 hours sot yesterday using max settings, on 5g and beta 8.5.

7 hours off time and i have 70% of battery left even though i was on tiktok, youtube and call of duty most of the time ( heavy gaming ).
Set the apps you don't use to deep sleep, it will probably help and turn off features on settings that you don't need because there are a lot of them.
The battery is great on this phone, one of the best no doubt.
